Same, I dont have issues finding combination files for my G955U ( They seem to be everywhere ) . I have issues finding the one for my Oreo firmware G955USQS3CRE2
I am going to try and flash an earlier firmware and use a combination file for that specific one.
If that's the route , which should I downgrade to? Currently at 8.0 and Which combination file would work with that specific firmware ?
I was thinking G955USQU1AQJ8 firmware and the SM-G955USQU1AQDA combination ...
Anyone have luck with that theory ? Any input ?
Will post back results .

can i use those combination file and stock firmware for n920v ? im also running on 7.0 and its really hard finding files for the n920v
whenever i do this i always get PIT fail?
Hi, basic problem is my note 5 doesnt get detected in any OS even with all the samsung drivers.. (kies, switch, samsung)
I can see from android recovery that it says: 7.0/NRD90M/N920IDVU3CQH2
So i believe I need this: http://www.galaxynote5update.com/galaxy-note-5-sm-n920i-stock-firmware/n920idvu3cqh2/
My questions I guess are:
1. Is it "normal" as the phone is "frp'ed", does it mean it wont get detected by the O/S?
2. IF i was able to have the O/S aware of my phone.. would I just need the "original firmware - as above" OR do I need the firmware + combination rom?
3. Has the "920i" been successfully un-frp'ed.. I cant find anything on the net..
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks!

you can't use firmware until its matching with your device firmware code, Put your device in android recovery mode, after that check your device firmware code there and then search out exact combination firmware, and the official stock firmware that can easily be found on samsung official website sammobile
Combination file n920p

Hi,
I have a S7 (Canadian) with the following firmware: G930W8VLS4CRH1_G930W8OYA4CRH1_XAC (Oreo 8.0.0)
I need to remove the FRP lock on it, but I am not managing to get the correct combination file for it. All the ones I am getting are FA60 instead of FA70 OR FA80 and the wrong binary.
Can someone help with the right combination file or what can be done to remove the FRP on this.
Thanks
GC
Hello Im waiting on my samsung S7 in the mail. Im very familiar with rooting and android. I own 2 samsung tablets the Tab A and the S2. Ive never heard of a combination file. I have the G930F international unlocked coming I don't know what region or firmware it's on. It's supposed to be new returned condition. I have had them lie before on eBay and say it was new and when I get it there's already been a firmware update like my S2 tablet was on nougat so I'm thinking it'll probably be the same thing this time. Im hoping it's still on marshmallow firmware when I get it. Can I update with different region firmware? I'm American so I was going to flash Oreo BTU United kingdom. But thanks for the help. Yes help me out I
What's the u1 and he mean also?
On 8.0 you cannot use combination to reset frp anymore must use service box

You can used sammobile or updato ( websites ) to get firmware or you use samfirm or frija ( PC apps ) to get the latest version of firmware.
Then flash with odin.

There are many web sites that have combination firmware.
Combination firmware works the same as firmware in regards to bootloader ( binary ) version numbers. You will need the same or higher bootloader version as to what is on your phone. If you use a higher number you will not be able to downgrade.
There are website to bypass frp locks or use the combination firmware.
eg :
https://combinationfirmware.com/

I've looked into it a bit, and it seems that changing the CSC is possible.
I'm not sure how quickly I'll rush into doing so, as I don't have much money and thus can't afford to brick phones willy-nilly, but would it be possible to change my A536W to A536E/A536B via CSC-change and then flash A536E/A536B firmware onto my device so as to allow for the bootloader to become unlockable? Someone on this forum has requested the A536E and A536B software on Samsung's open-source site, and they appear to be available for download.
Question of the century.
W variants dont have the B or E CSCs, so you cant just change the CSC. I tried flashing a B firmware on my E device, and it failed. The only option i havent tried is using the Patched Odin with the PIT file, but like you, i cant end up with a brick.

perhaps if we can get samsung to upload the W variants' firmware, we can do something similar to what they did for the Realme 7 and manually edit the firmware file to match B or E with a simple find-and-replace? I'm unsure of how it works because I've been out of the development-scene for years, but I'll keep an eye out for any way to unlock the A53 - and, should I find a solution, I'll definitely be sure to post about it

Any intrusion in the firmware files results in tripping knox. And if knox isnt an issue, you might as well root and find a solution there.
Im afraid we're out of options as we stand.

I see. I'll keep looking into it, and I'll try to get the firmware file uploaded if possible, too. Again, I'll be sure to post about any findings
