USB hub with Ethernet - Pixel C Accessories

Can anyone recommend a USB hub (preferably USB c) that has Ethernet and works with the pixel c? I bought a WeMe hub that has Ethernet, but my pixel c doesn't recognize it all (my mate 9 does though). Any recommendations? There are lots out there, but I want to make sure it will work.
Thanks!
UPDATE: Well, I went ahead and bought another one. This is the page it came from, though it seems to be gone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07538HPD9/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works perfectly. It was a TICTID QA-H01E (3 port usb 3 hub with an ethernet port). I have to use it with a usb 3.0 to usb-c adapter, but it only cost $6 when I bought. Not sure if it will come back to amazon or not.

There is already a thread on this subject. All you need to do before posting is search.
Anker has one that works with the Pixel C.

Thanks for the reply. I did quite a bit of searching first. No threads specific to this subject came up. There was a thread about power delivery and hubs and one about wifi dongles that mentioned hubs. Someone provided an Amazon link to a hub, but when I followed it I got a product page for a record player. There was a thread from 2016 that mentioned the Anker hub. I was hoping someone would chime in to confirm it still works. I'd be interested in hearing about other hubs as well.
If you gave a link to the previous thread on this subject, please post it.
Thanks.

{confirmed] "standard" OTG cable not working.

Not sure if this thread should be here or somewhere else.
I suppose this is due to the slimport standard but an OTG cable I know to work with my nexus 7 and galaxy nexus DOES NOT work with the nexus 4. Hope its just a pinout issue and it could be fixed buy purchasing another cable and reworking the wires. Anyone up to tinkering?
I did see a cable listed on eBay to work and left a question for the seller as the cable looks exactly like the one I have, I had my doubts about its ability to work.
Ideas, suggestions, solutions welcome. Would like to have flash drive and usb keyboard / mouse support on this phone.

I've been checking Benson's reviews regularly for a short micro to type-c cable for my ha2. It's been a few weeks since I last checked, but I haven't found anything confirmed to be specifications compliant. I'll check later tonight.
Yeah I haven't found no information either..
Came here looking for the same answer? I can't get my OPPO HA-2 to work with my Nexus 5x. I bought a Micro to USB C converter cable but it doesn't seem to work. Might be due to specific wiring for USB OTG.
Has anyone here had luck?
Hi, I couldn't get my OPPO HA-2 and Nexus 6P working with converters. I found a thread in reddit pointing to a USB C to Micro USB by Anker (Anker USB-C to Micro USB Cable (3.3ft) for USB Type-C Devices Including the new MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nokia N1 Tablet and More - $7.99 on Amazon) and ordered it last week. Just wanted to let everyone know that it works perfectly (definitely stereo, and not mono like some users reported).

OTG adapter

Anyone know of any good adaptors similar to the OTG which would allow to connect USB memory sticks via the USB-C port.

Huh?G I'm using the Note 7 adapter. According to another site some OTG cables don't work with the Z so beware.
Found this on Google store. May go for it unless anyone's already tried with no luck. https://store.google.com/product/usb_type_c_to_usb_standard_a_adapter

Not sure if the actual term for it is OTG as that's what the adaptor was called for Microusb to USB A connection.

I havent used them but some companies are making flash drive with usb c and usb a if all you want it for is a flash drive you can get a flash drive that works without an adapter
Be careful of hard adapters, they (Ha Ha, YOU) will break themselves or your port
Edit, these may not be OTG also. Yet similar OTG 90* adapters have similar drawbacks/ benefits.
There are 2 like this on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N3SINB9/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A33YL1HODFD2CL
I am going to get this soon.
This right angle horizontal, is not yet reviewed, but a sister item with right angle (up) is.
Frys usually stocks this style in micro, maybe a C version is there?
I have used one! The one I use works only with USB flash drives that are fat32 format! The brand of mine is belkin and I bought it from best buy!
Very nice to use this for watching movies and not having to use up storage on the device.
Only drawback is that the usb-c port does not allow you to use wired headphones at the same time! So, I had to go wireless Bluetooth headset!

Curious question. Since this is one of the first phones where the add-on option comes into play (mods), couldnt one devise an external ssd drive moto mod? Either that or one of those all-in-one adapter mods where i can plug in older tech? Im always skeptical about destroying the one & only port on the phone anyway.
In case anyone only wants flash storage I purchased the Sandisk Dual ultra and it works great, usb c and a usb a connector.
Also only have to carry one thing as opposed to two. I bought mine with 128gb storage, preformatted to fat32, was simply plug and play.

Care to elaborate why all other Choetech hdmi products won't/don't work? "Confirmed by email" is not very helpful.
The travel inspira hubs listed do not work for HDMI out, at least not with Oreo beta 2.

I emailed them asking why the adapters I bought weren't working on my Essential, and they told me that the phone isn't supported and they also don't have any adapters that support the device. I don't know why though, they didn't/couldn't give me an explanation. The email is in a pretty bad German, so you probably won't understand it, but I'll attach it anyway for reference. Sorry for the vagueness, should have made that clear at the beginning.

I got this one, but based off of another user indicating it woks, but that was on 7.1, not 8.0. I recently saw in another (or this) thread someone bought another adapter that someone said worked, but wasn't working for them on the beta. Makes me wonder if it's broken on the beta...
Mine definitely works with the beta, too.
The LeEco usb c earphones also works
I think I determined why this may not be working for some, your TV or monitor. The travel inspira hub will not work on any of my samsung TV's, in the MHL port or otherwise.
However, it does work on my Samsung S27E330 monitor. This leads me to believe that the TVs do not have the most recent version of MHL, and thus will not work. This is kind of a bummer because I intended to use this on my TV in the living room, but at least I can confirm the device does work with Beta 2. I have not returned the legacy adapter, so I will test using that as well and report back.

Interesting observation. I tested the adapter successfully on the HDMI 1/MHL port (didn't check the other ones) of our Samsung Smart TV from the C series, which is from 2010 I believe..
But I also think the issues that some people mentioned with normally working adapters are issues with the display device itself.

OnePlus 7 Pro And Anker PowerExpand 8-in-1 USB-C PD 10Gbps Data Hub

Hello friends,
I was wondering if our smartphone is compatible with the anker hub or does anyone has any experience on how to make it work? Because all I'm getting is scrambled image output on my TV.
Thank you very much!
Hi Omnes,
I use a VAVA brand Type-C hub, with HDMI, 3-USB's, and a headphone port and it works fine for me.
My type-c hub does need to be powered to work, as it has a usb-power delivery port and I need to connect it to a charger. Otherwise the 7 pro cannot power it.
Here's the link to it:
https://www.amazon.com/VAVA-Adapter...22&sprefix=vava+type+c,electronics,444&sr=8-5
I don't really know why your hub doesn't work.

All hub should work(unless thunderbolt), if any problem try custom kernel, also enable force desktop mode from developer mode.

Tried forced desktop mode. I'm running stock OOS.
What combination of ROM&Karnel do you recommend?
(I'll put a picture of what's on the TV screen tommorow.)
