i just updated... and i got March security... but my update was 1,11GB
I got it too, removed magisk still couldn't update, then just flashed it and remembered i had to re-lock.... Anyway, i hope battery life is improved, anyone with impressions already ?
this update appeared here, but I have root so I need to update manually. Does anyone know where I can download this procedure?
Backup magisk, copy /data/adb folder to SD card
Boot to TWRP (don't install!!)
Flash magisk uninstaller
Reboot and update ota
- if phone fails to reboot, boot back to TWRP and switch slot -
Boot TWRP
Flash magisk install
Replace /data/adb with backup.
Voila! You updated ota and kept all magisk settings/modules
I am unable to update. It's showing " installation problem" please anybody help

Ok, why Android 8 on August 2017?
It's now September 20th and I still don't have my update. Stock pixel XL. Never takes this long.
I know, especially since apparently Verizon Pixel users did get a September update and I think there are September patch images (non-OTA) you can flash, I think?

Hi all.
I have the 5 September update on y UK sim free Pixel.
Well that's interesting, my update finally showed up, right after I posted about not having it... weird.
I'll let you know how it goes...
EDIT: update went fine, even got to keep all my newly enabled substratum themes. Not sure what has changed, except for this one interesting thing: there is now a "device theme" option in Display settings... but you still seen to need to enable Substratum with Andromeda. Not sure what's going on yet...

Don't complain. My FRD-L19 is still on August security patch!
Today I got new OTA for my Honor View 20 version 9.0.1.165 model PCT-AL10 with April security patch . Update is of 391MB and update log is attached
Got honor very good which is providing regular OTA for every month

Not days months. L29 just recently got .137 update via ota. However manual update was out way before it
Another update with AR measure has rolled out and version is .173
Change log is attached

I tried this but it wont work for me.
But today at night i get the update FINALLY to version 9.0.1.169. So for global view 20 i think its newest update

Recovery mode: 9.0.1.169
Previously it would display 9.0.1.137 as the latest version.

Yeah, it's risky. In the past when I use the "download latest and recovery", it hasn't factory reset my phone, but it feels like it's meant to.

yes i do! they also say if you have problems with the last security patch 2020-02 wait for android 10 or wait till next patch come out that should solve the problem

This is what I got from them
I'm not impressed... This was the worst phone I've bought, alothough the 8.1 I bought is just a brick. they refuse to honor warranty on either & the mystical fix (Android 10) will be obsolete by the time they release it.
That's messed up for real.

Is there a program for release of 10? It's three days later & no sign of it...
I still have not received any update, yet. Stuck on Android 9, patchlevel Feb 05.
Even Sony is way faster than that. My XZ2C received Android 10 already and has the latest April patches.

31 May ans still no sign of an update here in Australia.... I do have unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed in the slot B, but OTA should still work AFAIK....

This is not firmware update, just Google Play System security patch (introduced with Android 10, see Settings => Security)

I have checked on my other phones such as Redmi Note 8 and Samsung A20 they haven't received this July update their stuck on May but luckily I have received July Google Play System update on my A2 Lite only seriously there isn't much of a difference here I think the 6.3 KB was to change May to July
