S8 oreo AT&T SAMSUNG KEYBOARD NO GIF - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Anyone else not have gif support on samsung keyboard after the update?

I have noticed that. I've been looking around to see why this wasn't available. I am gonna download gboard and see if it will allow to send gifs now cause on nougat and the old Samsung 7.1 it wouldn't.

Even though this is for the s7 Edge, it most likely works on all Samsung 6.0.1 firmware. Tell me how it goes http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/themes/mod-apple-ios-emojis-samsung-galaxy-s7-t3345552
Worked perfectly, thank you

Side-Loading BlinkFeed shouldn't be too difficult, but,if it were me,I'd look for something else:
BlinkFeed is powered by NewsRepublic, which is owned by CheetahMobile, the owners of the infamous crapware/snoopware CleanMaster.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/0...s-app-empire-buying-news-republic-57-million/
I was a huge fan of BlinkFeed until CheetahMobile stepped into the picture, haven't used it since......
EDIT:
Just a BTW:
Samsung devices also ship w/CheetahMobile crapware, under the name of "Device Maintenance":
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...mobile-security-and-innovation-300043298.html
I'd at minimum get Package Disabler Pro to freeze/disable this crapware, short of full root/ROMs.

Look in your system apps &/or use a good file browser.
If you still can't see it,try one of the Package Disabler apps in the Google Play Store.
Or,if you want to see some screenshots of what I've disabled on my Note 4/Note5/Note 7,do a search of my posts & you'll stumble across the bloat-spyware.

@GreeleyXda
Isn't FlipBoard a built-in Samsung app?
IIRC,it's just a swipe away on the stock Samsung Launcher...............

GRX TouchWiz Mod (For Non-Rooted Phone) S9+ snap

Hello dears! There is theme: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/themes/grx-touchwiz-mod-rooted-phone-t3847212. It has a working port under note 9. Can who remaking under s9+ snap?
Now during the installation appears this error:
I was able to re-clone the TouchWiz home apk and circumvent this restriction, however it still fails to work on S9+ Snapdragon.
It's an exynos specific app the original thread says it about 5-6 post down

I saw that but then though about it and when updates to Samsung Experience app are uploaded to apkmirror there is always only one app per version - rather than chipset specific versions. Not sure if this narrows it down to the GRX control app or not but gonna decompile it when I get home from work tonight and dig a bit.

Mad props if you figure it out that would be huge not being able to root these newer phone not that they need it much anymore but would be nice for things like this
There is one in that thread now that shows as working for Snapdragon variant. I downloaded the one linked in the OP. You need to use something like AdHell3 to disable the two Experience things (launcher and service) then you can install the Snapdragon specific one. I was able to do it on my Snap Note 9 once I disabled those two things. Then I just went through the steps of doing permissions like it said and everything worked fine.
I got rid of it pretty quickly and went back to Nova though as the mod was laggy for me.

IOS Emojis on Android Pie (One UI) without Root (in Snapchat)

So, I have found a way to get IOS 12.1 Emojis on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 without Root (through Wings Fonts) and it works really well in almost all apps, except for Snapchat.
Before the Note 9 I had a phone with a custom ROM and Magisk and I could just download the Magisk module with the IOS 12.1 Emojis and after I did that the Emojis also worked in Snapchat.
On the Note 9 on the other hand I had to download an App that downloads a Font that looks exactly the same as the Stock Samsung font, except that the Emojis are replaced.
But in Snapchat that doesn't change the Emojis, so in Snapchat I still see the Samsung Emojis. My guess is that this is because Snapchat is still using the Stock Samsung font.
So my question is if anyone knows if the is another way to get the IOS Emojis on One UI or if you could somehow replace the Emojis in the Stock Samsung Font (through ADB maybe?). Or if there is a way to somehow force Snapchat into using another font or something like that.
I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this problem as I mainly use Emojis in Snapchat.

Same issue with me.. This is my first android experience and I think that a jailbroken iphone is more customizable than an android phone. Whether rooted or not. I hate apple and I'm going to buy their new iphone max next September anyways and get rid of this Note9. Iphone with Cydia is just everything.
Did you end up finding a way?

Question Samsung emojis

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Samsung (had an Ace back in time lol) and I wondered how to replace the emojis without root.
I saw that I could use zfont to change them but some say it adds ads in the lancher and everywhere and it makes the phone unstable.
Do you have tips on how to change emojis or do some of you use zfont ?

Try the Galaxy Store. Search it.
I don't use them but Samsung allows for a lot of stock customization...

I searched in it and didn't find something to change the stock emojis unfortunately...
The only ways I found is rooting (a big no for me) or using the zfont app
