How do you change the buttons for the default power control widget for ICS? Once I drag the widget to my homescreen I'm not prompted to change anything, nor does longpressing on it let me edit the widget.
Whenever I need a screenshot, it bugs me that either
I unwantingly change volume levels (hardware-button method), or
I unwantingly scroll or even change the screen (3-finger gesture method)
How to add a button "Screenshot" on notification shortcut panel
When you press the button, notification bar moves back up again and a screenshot is taken.
I'ld love this feature
My home button only brings Google Now on the stock launcher or regardless of what I try on Nova launcher.
This forum sucks ass
Just found out how. Press and hold home soft key (little round icon center bottom)
Is there any way to turn off the screen (lock the device) without the need to press the right power button?
for example, with OPO you could long press the home button and the device got locked.
thanks!
you can use Custom Navigation bar and add a power button to either side of the nav bar

If you run Nova launcher, you can go to Nova settings, gesture & input and select screen lock for your desired gesture.
actually i just downloaded this app

and its working
If you use the edge panel, use softkey edge. It has a screen lock button.

i think theres a lock option in the assistant menu, furthermore you can use the bxactions app with nova launcher and remap actions to lock the screen.
Hi. I wanna ask if anyone knows a way to get back the software system buttons shortcuts customization in OOS 12.1 with rooted phone. By these shortcuts i mean for example double clicking overview button (square) for dragging the navigation bar down and other useful things that were customizable in OOS11. Now we just have long press overview for separated screen, double click overview for sliding through active apps and long press home buton (circle) for google assistant with no ability to change any of these in settings AFAIK.
