G-Gee by GMO games question - General Questions and Answers

Hi, just as the thread says I want to ask about G-Gee by GMO games (e.g Dodonpachi, Espgaluda II, Double Dragon, Deathsmiles). Can I somehow play them? I can't find any of those on Google Play. I tried downloading G-Gee app as well. But the problem is I cannot connect to a server. Do they work or some kind of emulator? Or maybe I have to change my VPN? Are those games gone for good?

I searched a long time for this answer as well. It seems like they are gone for good. There is no hacked backup online, at least i couldn't find one. It seems unbelievable to not be able to play these ports, but it's the reality.
The (somewhat) good news is, that all the new Cave shmups (Espgaluda 2, Daifukkatsu, Deathsmiles, Mushihime-sama) can be played on android via Retroarch emulator with Mame core (2014 version). The bad news in this good news is that even a S9 has trouble playing them as they are very CPU heavy games in Mame.
Maybe the next generation of smartphones will play them smoothly, we'll have to wait and see.

PSX4Droid - Any issues?

I was thinking about checking this emulator out to finally (maybe) play FF7. However, when I looked at it in the market, there were a lot of complaints about it not being updated anymore, and some performance/playability issues? Has anyone recently tried it on recently released phones (I have a stock DroidX)?
plays great on my incredible
There are many problems with the emulator. It will only run SOME games okay. The games it runs just seem to be random.
FF7 will work just fine... seems to be an easy game to emulator. However, another simple game like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is unplayable.
Most games are probably unplayable if you like sound. The sound is so bad on most games that you have to mute it.
The list of games that work perfectly is probably under 20... and most of those are games you don't care about
The emulator is no longer supported by the developer. He even made a comment on twitter saying "what needs to be updated?"
The emulator ignores the phones GPU and only runs off of the CPU... so faster phones don't get any performance gain. It also needs a ton of compatibility fixes, as there are so many games that just do not work.
With that being said, if the only game you want to play is FF7, you're in luck! Is it worth the money? Not if you ask me.....
Is there another PS emulator that is better supported, and works with more games?

There is no other PSX emulator

Trying to get Pinball Fantasies and Dreams ported to Android

These game´s has released on iphone and PSP and is a port/remake of the old Amiga versions.
So i´m wondering if more people is interested in getting this game to android, if so we could all send an email to the developer showing our interest and hope for the best.
You can find gameplay videos from iphone on youtube (i am not allowed to post links as im a new member)
Developers mail is: juuso(at)cowboyrodeo(dot)net (seems i can´t write emails either)
Only alternative i found to play this on my phone is the gba remake on gba emulators. But it´s not as good as the iphone/psp versions.
Have you tried playing the Amiga version of these games on an emulator on your Android?
No i havent played it on Amiga Emulator on my phone, cause when u use the keyboard layout on the screen it covers the whole screen. So it would be unplayable
But seems like this is a dead end anyway. Developer is not replying and i doubt they will ever bother
There was only one pinball of all times. Slamtilt. Unfortunately only on AGA chipsets.

[Q] Open Feint, online multiplayer, Gun Bros and other questions (long rant)

Having come recently from iOS to Xperia Play, I 'm finding its online multiplayer severely lacking compared to iOS. There are some questions deeply rooted (lol) in my mind which I can't find answers for and hope the knowledgeable people here can help me with.
First, I am no Apple fanboy (though I respect their products) , I prefer playing games with physical buttons hence my switch to Xperia Play. However, comparing Gun Bros online multiplayer iOS and Android versions I must ask:
1) Why does the game Gun Bros ask me to have a GameSpy account and a wifi connection when on iOS I could play online multiplayer IMMEDIATELY via GameCenter and even via 3G? (Well, the connection was sometimes slow, but it worked).
2) Why is the game forcing me to open a Facebook account in order to play online? Personally I despise Facebook and will never use it. The iOS version did no such thing.
3) Why does Open Feint NOT provide online multiplayer the same way GameCenter does on iOS?
4) Are there at all any games I can play on my Xperia Play using on-line multiplayer the same way GunBros does in iOS version? I mean, two players doing the same level co-operatively where I can see the other player and his actions on my screen.
4) If there are such games, am I am ok with just Open Feint or do I have to use some stupid additional app like Facebook or GameSpy?
Thanks for any answers and sorry if I sound a bit negative. I do love gaming on Xperia Play, it's a lovely handset, I just find its multiplayer features so far very limited.
I'll try and answer your questions as good as i can, allright?
1) God knows. It's the Developers decision, how he manages stuff. And you can bet your ass that it's a different developer(team?) vor the iOS and Android versions.
2) Same as 1.
3) GameCenter is by Apple from Apple for Apple.. it's on every iPhone and provides such functionality. Android does not have such a standard (yet?).
4) Am not the type to play multiplayer games. I emulate most games i play (PSX, GBC, SNES, GENESIS) and i only have 2 other XPeria Play users as friends.. that never really play the type of games i enjoy.
5) (Presumably..) Game developers will probably provide their own servers, or you'll be able to run your own on your handset. On iOS such fucntions cannot be implemented, so developers HAVE to use their own Servers (correct me if i'm wrong here, though).
All in all, iOS is the simplier variant of .. pretty much anything.
But if you want REAL customisation, aswell as a real swiss army knife at your hands - Android is much better.
(How did i end up in a iOS vs Android phrase.. i don't really..)

How about a TSO app?

Hello,
I love to play the Settlers online.
www.thesettlersonline.com
And I would like to play it on my Android device.
Since the creators of the Settlers online don't want to think about making the game playable on any other device than pc, I was wondering if someone XDA could make a forwarder or something...
The biggest problem is, it uses Flash.
I, for one, have got a Xperia S which does not have much capabilities about Flash games.
I tried Dolphin browser and other browsers, but it wouldn't work.

Playing PC games on Android without owning a PC

So,
Firstly I don't know where to post this because there is no section for mobile phone gaming which is a bit weird. I hope it gets moves to the right section by the admin.
Secondly, I found an amazing app that you can use to play PC games on Android without even owning a PC. I played games like fortnite and GTA v easily with on screen controls and sometimes with a controller. It is very good and you feel like you have a console in your hands stronger than ps vita.
Here is the video of how to do it
mod edit
Give it a try and let me know what you think. I have tried it on note 8 and it is super smooth.
According to your description,I think it sounds like clound games.
As far as I know there is a app,it's gloud games.
You can get it in under url.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.gloud.client.en
It's need high speed network. And these servers only in China.
So if you aren't in China, you need a vpn.
