If you would like to inquire about your experience with Magisk and how/where to obtain some further guidance in correcting/preventing this from happening again, your best bet is to post it on the following General Q&A Magisk thread.

Hi all,
I flashed an Oreo ROM on my thea, and installed the Android GO apps and optimisations, but couldn't find an Android GO bootanimation. I have the one where it says "Powered by Android" at the bottom, but would prefer one with "Powered by Android - go edition". I've seen it but just can't find one to flash. If you find one could you post in the thread please.
thanks

OK, thanks for the reply. I'll try the thread.
hopefully I'm posting in the right spot: Someone, Please help me get root. I have a Samsung J3 (J327a) and I'm trying to root it. i have no custom recovery, but I read that if you use Magisk Manager to patch the original stock boot.img of your firmware (and output to img.tar) that it would be flashable in Odin. I'm pretty sure I followed all steps to the T. can someone help me and show me where ive gone wrong?
