I would like to present a little VDO GUIDE for how to debrand Huawei Phone via my tool
[TOOL] SRK Tool Huawei Bootloader/ROOT/Recovery/Backup/Utility
In this VDO GUIDE , I use Huawei Mate 8 model, and use these same method for Huawei P9.

Hello,
I would like to debrand my phone. I read some guide here and I will use srk tool.
Now I'm on c02b133.
Which is the correct procedure?
have I to install via dload c432b136, go to c900 and then unlock bootloader, root e oem info file?
Or have I to unlock bootloader, root, oem info file and then flash the rom c432?.
I have this doubt because in some post, someone told to reinstall stock recovery after root, and forced the installation of the stock rom..so I'm not sure about correct way.

unlock bootloader > install twrp > root > change oeminfo and custom.bin > fastboot stock recovery > dload
after finished your phone become c432 and it can any ota from c432 firmware.
if you would like to go back to , you can do with the same method.
Always make backup of your oeminfo before u debrand.

Hello, will this method also work for my phone that is currently EVA-L09C440B138 ?? , I want to change to C432 so I can get newest C432 updates.
EVA-L09C440B138 is from EE network in the UK.

Yes, remember to backup oeminfo and custom of your phone before u do it.

Need some help.
i've used this toolkit to unlock,twrp and root. All done perfectly. After that i want to change my oeminfo from C900 to C432. iv'e backuo of the oeminfo and then used this toolkit to change that but, my phone first stuck in boot and lost TWRP and root.
Then when it is power on it shows a red message(normally it is yellow/orrange) and i cant install TWRP,root or lock BT again,all failed
SOLVED: Flash the new version in sdcard. Restored BL locked,recovery and all went fine. Finally.
What can i do?

I'm from italy, and in this week i'll receive my new huawei p9, but there is a problem: is brand vodafone!
So the updates are reeeeally slow...like the last was b133, and i saw something like b180 on the no brand smartphones :S
So i was searching how to debrand the p9 and i saw this guide:
"to debrand the phone, the boot loader has to be locked and with the stock recovery.
create a folder in the sd called "dload"
download the ROM Stock EVA-l09C432B136 file, and place in the dload folder
turn off the device and reboot it pressing power+volume up+volume down"
I don't know if this is old or what, its still working?

Tell us what version u have now, under Settings - About phone - Version maby there is a newer firmware but u have not got any OTA?

I'll receive my p9 in this week!
But my brother, with a vodafone p9, has b133 as the last update.

It's possible to debrand the phone, but u will void your warranty just so u know.

Using [TOOL] SRK Tool Huawei Bootloader/ROOT/Recovery/Backup/Utility

Hi,
I have just one question for debrand. I have vodafone rom (C02). I have to unlock bootloader,install twrp,root,change oeminfo and custom.bin, then stock recovery > dload firmware c432.
After this procedure, will I have bootlooder unlocked or locked? Will I receive OTA? App 'themes' working??

Please help me I was trying to update my Mate 8 from C636B193 to C636B211 to get the official Nougat Android 7 through the firmware finder and then my mate after 40% gives me failed and stuck on the below screen and cannot go further >>>> or return back I tried all option and restarted my mate 8 and nothing happened what should I do to return my dead mate 8 now please support .....

You can get into recovery mode , if yes dload official firmware
Or use huawei extractor to get recovery.img and then flash revovery.img using fastboot

i turn now in C636B211 but always themes problems . my problem is i cant open bootloader because i need internationnal card in morocco.

The Build-Number says NRD90M test-keys. I really need help, I'm searching since 2 days and was also writing with the support.

Frd-al00's rollback is different from l04.
If you are in official emui 5.
I suggested you download hisuite in huawei website, and then connect your phone to pc, click system update in hisuite, you will see rollback button.

Interesting discussion. so is 360 the only version you can do a straight flash back to in TWRP, or is there a newer version?
Can the stock rom be rooted using Magisk or SuperSU - can one of them be flashed immediatedly after flashing the update zips before rebooting, while twrp is still loaded?

Yes, but if you flash back to b360, it doesn't take OTA updates, and I don't want to relock the bootloader.
The main issue I have with stock is the inability to turn off the battery charging LED - it really annoys me.

Help.
Been messing around. I'm now on b380 but camera doesn't work and updates don't work. I've lost twrp, and if I try to install it it fails, although my boot loader says it's unlocked. It's there a way to flash the restore from a pc if I can't get twrp reinstalled?

Eventually resolved by downloading rollback package and b331 from Huawei site, and putting the update.app from each in dload on the sd card and forcing flash.

FRP Lock was turned on. You might need to reflash the whole firmware to set it to off. Only then you can tick the OEM Unlock option.

You need to relock bootloader then tick the Enable OEM unlock on then unlock bootloader.

roll back to marshmallow and toggle that frp unlock option and now unlock your phone and dload the nougat firmware

yes bcoz I m on emui 5.0 and when I use dload with emui 4.1 that is not working and emui 5.0 firmware is not available for honor 6x it only in update via phone

You cant downgrade simply from Nougat to MM unless you have the rollback package for your model. It was there for L21 model but not sure on other models (recently they may have provided the rollback package for other models).
once you have the rolback package, use dload method for that file 1st and then for MM full package.

I am having a serious issue with mate 9. I was going through this method

But now it is only showing fastboot ,download or the updating screen as it fails on 5%....
As i have tried many official roms after putting them in externalsd card/dload, but the procedure fails every time
Now i m stuck in bootloader, unlocking not working
Installing twrp not working
Please help

I got stuck following the same guide after replacing oeminfo to L29C636.
If you are able to get in TWRP i suggest restoring OEMinfo to original and start following this guide to rebrand.
@edit: Could you elaborate why bootloader unlock doesn't work?

Now i only want is to unlock bootloader for that i cant do that by any adb & fastboot softwares.
.tried lot of them but always : command not allowed:
My phone current status
Phone locked
Frp lock
Some how by force bootloader unlocking , after that there is nothing to worry about, but just bootloader unlocking.
Now i dont know what are settings for oem enabled or disabled, or the other developer settings.
Now i have given mate 9 to a famous repairing centre,
They told me that this is hardware issue and it would be around 300 us dollars worth repairing.
Now dont know what to do..
Please help developers...

Since your frp is locked you won't be able to flash anything.
Did the OEMINFO restore successfully in twrp?
When you do dload, you are putting UPDATE.APP in /extsdcard/dload/?
And you are using https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9GG_Oe0gQDyUWlCS3lTRm5IOUE/view (C636B136)?
Because no other firmware will work with dload (Except for AL00C00B115).

B181 is not an offline firmware so it can't be used with Dload.
And that folder you linked is empty.

I had successfully replaced/restored oem files to the international version l29c636.
But after that every thing got stuck.

Wow! It is OFFLINE_UPDATE. Where you got it? Do you have other offline updates? For C432, C567 ?

I have not file dload for c432 or c567.

It is not mine. But what is your current oeminfo? You need be on c636 to install this offline rom. Other customization are not compatible.

Do you have P10 offline firmware? It is VTR-L29C636 version.
