Hi,
I wonder if there is a good place to ask about debugging a PWA running on Samsung Internet. It runs fine on Chrome, but not on Samsung Internet - there is some problem with the service worker, and while I can successfully connect to it over USB with chrome devtools on my desktop, the tools are somewhat different to those for chrome and I can't seem to debug the service worker.
Does anyone know anything about this and/or where I should go to best get help, if not here?
Thanks,
Max.

Has anyone had any success using remoting programs such as teamviewer from their mobile phone? I tried with my Excaliber today but it wasnt quite working. Id like to be able to access my home computer via my device...tell me any success stories or hints you may have
there's no TeamViewer for mobile..
but you can use z2remote2pc.. works for me
There are plenty of programs you can use for remote desktop purposes, although nothing (AFAIK) like TeamViewer (so you'll have to make sure that the server has an an open port)
There are plenty of VNC programs like:
- Mocha VNC (can connect to Real/Ultra/Tight/OSX VNC and Apple Remote Desktop)
http://www.mochasoft.dk/vncce.htm
- .NET VNC Viewer (Freeware)
http://dotnetvnc.sourceforge.net
And if you want to use the Remote Desktop protocol:
- Mocha Remote Client
You may also use the Terminal Services Client if your pocket pc has it (Check under programs).
oh wow, I didn't realize how many options there'd be, thanks for the insight guys!
logmein.com
try logmein.com
it works fine for me...

There is a beta version of TeamViewer for Android which can be downloaded from the TeamViewer website.
I just downloaded it... it works awesome.... Make sure teamviewer version 6 is also installed on your computer. Very easy to login. For I.T. , you can actually troubleshoot and reboot computer remotely.
Is not working anymore, and not available from the market, anybody knows what happened?
don't know about the market, but you can download it directly from webpage of TV:

anyway it works i've tested it over wifi and 3g and connections seems to be ok

Hello there
Firstly like to say Thank you very much for taking the time to look in on my thread
OK - I've acquired a 2nd hand O2 XDA Orbit 2 and its running Windows mobile 6.1
I've not installed much onto it - Nimbuz and Opera, windows marketplace and windows mobile device center on my pc. I know very little about this phone and have only just figured out how to install apps.
First problem - even if I sit next to my router (wifi connection) I get a connection error on most internet applications I have to reboot router and phone to solve this - What settings do I need to change to stop this happening ? I've tried to use the windows update in system settings and it never works
2nd problem - its very slow, I've installed apps to my storage card, I've only taken 2 pictures and one tiny video - is there something I can do to help speed the phone up ?
Is the OS upgradable ? if so whats the best OS version for my phone and where or how would I acquire this.
What apps should I be installing - I like to listen to internet radio (pirate) so the app has to er very configurable. watch online tv - BBC - Hulu ect. I use twitter, FB, gmail and surf the net a lot.
Please help me get the best out of my Gadget
Thanks very much for reading this far and I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions.
TIA
Debs
is there any application for android that controls the internet connection on PC (win7) ? My little brother is getting very addicted to that LoL* [email protected] , so i want to block the connection on his PC only, not the entire network. Unfortunately i work so i can't be at home to do it myself, that's why i want the application on my android device. I use Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300)
*more than 5 hours per day

No. Just put a password on the PC and let him play only when you are at home or something... I just can't think of any way of this happening.

yes , thats exactly what i'm looking for. Do you know the netop remote? it does what i want but it doesnt have an android application. Lets say, i have downloaded a remote client on the PC and i have the remote viewer on my phone. When i want to lock his PC or just disable internet connection, i just login and then press the button, or something like that.
You could try using a remote desktop viewer app like Splashtop or LogMeIn to manually control the PC's internet from ur android phone.
Wouldn't be very practical though!

I don't have an exact solution to your question other than the already mentioned LogMeIn.
An alternative would be to run parental control software on the PC. I have Norton Family (online family . Norton. Com) installed on pcs my step kids use. Works ok, at least until they learn about proxy servers.
I have been trying to find a place to get some answers for this question, but its been a bit rough trying to find the right kind of information. Hopefully I can get some help here (or even just a point in the right direction)
What I want to do is stream my PC to my N7 via teamviewer (or some other free app) in a similar fashion to how the nvidia shield or Kainy works. I know once upon a time I could stream teamviewer via lan to one of my devices but I can't seem to find how to do that anymore. I would use the regular online stream but there is a good deal of lag-time (not terribly important since I just want to play CIV5) so I'm trying to get LAN mode setup. I've configured all the right settings in my PC (static IP, teamviewer options, etc.) but cant seem to find the options to connect in the android app.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanky you!

Hi,
This is a development site for primarily Android and Windows Devices.
You'll need to find a forum put there for Apple, or macs.
Good luck!
