I am here to show you my new app: Blitter.
Description
Using Blitter you will not have to do complex maths to know how much money each person has to pay when you go shopping or to a restaurant with your friends and family.
You just need to scan the receipt using your camera. Blitter will recognise the products and their prices. Then, you will be able to assign each product to one or more people. Finally, Blitter will calculate for you how much each person has to pay.
Furthermore, you can share the breakdown with your friends using any app. Everything is easier using Blitter!

Hi,
The app has many problems recognising receipts containing non-ASCII characters and currencies with no decimal part. That's the reason it is not available everywhere. In some countries, in general, it won't work as expected. Making the app available in these countries will drastically reduce the user rating the app has in the Play Store.
However, I am trying to solve this issues. At some point the app may be available for India. Until that moment, I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

But when I tried it using an APK off of the internet, it worked as intended. Though, I don't know if it would work all the time. Well, I can be a tester to help you support India. And as for non-ASCII characters for currency symbols, is it not a good idea to manually select (or option to change the detected currency) which currency it is if it failed to recognize the currency?

Hi everyone,
I hope I am posting in the right section.
I recently released my first personal published app to the Play Store. It has ads, but those will soon be removed - chose to include them to learn how. I also have my code as open-source if anyone wants it.

My app is unique in that it does several network requests to foursquare api and google places to aggregate and populate a listview.
My favorite and most exciting feature was implementing a compass AND pointer using sensors, gps data, and a lot of math. Took me a lot of hard work just for this first main version.
The compass always points mag North regardless of which way you turn and also has an arrow that points at the moving target based on real-time sensor/gps/API data.
Still a few bugs that but I'm taking a break from the app so I can come back in a few weeks and refactor + add new features.
This app will display real-time interactive location data for food trucks/trailers/food stands etc.
It should work on any device at any orientation. My custom interpolation makes a smoothe compass/pointer.
Any feedback and support would be greatly appreciated as I am job hunting and it isn't easy by any means, as some of you know. The more I can implement changes/feedback from reviews (hopefully) and/or here, the better prepared I'll be for Dev positions.
Thanks to anyone that downloads the app. You guys on this entire forum are awesome; I mostly use it for updates on kernels and roms, but first time I'm posting on a published app in the Play Store. Thanks everyone.

Important: the application can work without Internet connection!
LocationDetector is full suite for travelers, fishermen and mushroom pickers! It is direct GPS Navigator to saved places.
Use navigation arrow to find the saved location you have forgot.
Use compass to get directions of North, West etc.
Send locations via sms, see all locations on map etc....
Now you can do all of these things with the only one application - LocationDetector !!!
In advanced version you have additional features like adding locations from google map or enter it numeric values, weather conditions etc.!
Also there is no advertisement in Advanced Location Detector!

You need to do something with UI design. Its terrible. Find a designer & update this app, because like example, I never dowload app with design like this, immediately evident that no professional...
Yes, I agree with you, design is not fine, it's my own design and I'm not a designer It will be rafactored in future. But, the functionality is perfect I beleive. I heard about some issues, but currently they are fixed. I'm certain that people enjoy it.

Yeah, designers said that it's not the best design But, as I told above, this application has very good functionality, it's not a game, so graphics is not so important, but in the future it will be changed definetly.
Does anybody like the design? For me it's ok for now and I think it is not so important for such great application that is very convenient and without restrictions in comparison to other similar applications.
New version is released! Very critical issue is fixed. Everyone who had troubles with Navigation arrow should update application to the latest version. This screen worked only for Europe and Asia. So People from Australia, New Zealand and America continent couldn't use it properly until now.

There is more coming every day unfortunately. But the app will show you all available currencies as long as they are tradeable because the data is pulled remotely. @LeMoise do you have any suggestions what I could improve? Currently working on an update to convert everything to other Fiat Currencies and also show prices in BTC.

I'll play with it for a day or two and let you know what I think Showing prices in BTC would have been the first thing I suggested.
Since creation of this thread i released 2 new versions of this app. The following features/changes have been introduced:
the result list is now sortable by marketcap, price, 24h change and crypto currency name
you can select a currency to show the prices in, i added many popular currencies like USD, EUR, BTC, HKD etc. ( @LeMoise thanks for the suggestion of that feature)
interface overhaul; the ui is now more responsive and tweaked in many aspects
decreased bandwidth consumption by caching the fetched results more frequently
