Hi.
When I touch on the steps icon on the watch I get this message "Google fit is not enabled. Please go to the phone app and enable google fit". I cannot find anywhere to do this. Any ideas?
Thanks
It probably is a message from the watch face. The watch face apps, especially non Wear 2.0 ones, sometimes have a phone app to change settings.

I saw on a YouTube video of a guy getting google now card Notifications on his watch. Now I can't find the video and was wondering if anyone knew how to enable this feature. Thanks!

Open the Gear Manager & go into Notifications. Check the box for Google app. Reminders & notifications will show up on the watch.

I have the Google app enabled in notifications, but I only get one notification (weather) and it says plus 14 (or however many) cards. Do you all get individual cards? Maybe that only works on Samsung phones?

I don't think that's possible. you just get the notifications from GN on gear s2 that are popping up in the notification area, like weather or traveling times or calendar reminders. but not e.g. shipment information or sports information, because that's not a notification that pops up in the notification area.
i see the "and ...more Cards" info but i can not access it from the notification that i get on my gear .
that's what i experienced, proof me wrong, cause more cards would be awesome.
Yeah your right. I rarely get shipping and flight etc notifications because I never buy anything or go anywhere... I forgot entirely about them
But does anyone get actual GN separate cards like Steps, or Time to Home, or anything other than the one SAME GN notification? I figure since I have weather "on" in GN, that is the "first" one, and all the rest are buried under "plus xx cards".

from my point of view you dont get the GN "cards" like steps and Sports and Flight info and so on, because these are all "cards" like you said. you only get what GN puts in the notification area of your phone, because all that will get pushed to the watch when the google app is ticked in the gear manager app.
you see more cards in the notification that gets pushed to the watch though. i cant seem to access them because they are actual cards in GN and not notifications. i could imagine that GN could be opend when the "more cards" button on the watch notification would be clickable.
What i also saw was that e.g medisafe notifications with some clickable options that are made for AW are actually clickable on the gear s2 when i go into the 3 dot menu. but that does not seem to work for GN notifications.
although i think commute times notifications with clickable maps links for example are also clickable on the watch (i mean the map link)
hope its somehow clear what i mean lol
I turned off weather in Google Now, and did get "Time to Home", but I accidentally dismissed it while trying to view it, so didn't get to see options. Did see that there were silhouettes of two cars in background. So, at least on a Nexus, I only seem to get one notification with the "+ xx cards", rather than separate cards like on Android Wear.
HI,
For some reason I cannot get notifications on my watch for some apps on my phone, in particular One Football.
Notifications are showing on my phone just fine, they are not blocked in the Wear app on my phone or watch.
I even did a reset of my watch (for a different issue) and still I cannot get notifications from this app to show on my watch.
Any ideas? All the random apps I don't want notifications on my watch appear easily but this one I actually want won't come thru.
Maybe are those persistent notifications?
They are football scores so only active when there is a goal or something in the game.
Only appear on my phone during such a time and should appear on my watch at the same time too - so annoyed I am now trying a different sports app which does mirror notifications on my watch but I don't like it so much.
Hi All,
Like a number of us, I have been looking for work-arounds for the P20 not having an Always On feature. I have tried the "Always On AMOLED" app with mixed results.
If I go into my Settings->Notifications management, I see an option called "Basic daydreams". It doesn't show up anywhere else, even if I search my phone contents. The internet tells me this is a screensaver function. I am assuming it is disabled in the P20 or we would be able to access it and have an always on screensaver function, yet it appears in the Notifications tab. I tried downloading a Daydreams app from the Play store ("Clock plus") but didn't seem to be able to make it do anything.
Has anyone gotten use out of the Basic Daydreams function, or knows how to work with it?
Thanks in advance!
Same problem here. Anyone find out wtf daydream do not shows up?
Little late, but using AOD on LCD display would just decrease battery and I don't see any point in using it...
Having a problem that while navigating with Google maps on Note 20 phone, watch 4 displays turn-by-turn. When I try to navigate away from the turn-by-turn on the watch 4 (because I'm using maps on the phone while driving with phone in a dock) maps stops navigation on the phone as well. Only thing I can think of is to unpair the watch while navigating but that defeats the purpose of having all the other notifs that I like on the watch and typically forget to re-pair the watch after stopping navigation.
Go to Google Maps on your watch, go to setting, auto-launch and deactivate driving.

Thank you so much. I kept looking through the Maps app on the phone thinking it was something in the phone app since the phone app was the one disconnecting. Also took me forever to even find the settings in the watch app since it's hidden in the "search" menu.
When I use facial recognition to unlock and app, after my face is recognized, before I can go into the app, I get a screen that is showing a message: "Verified. Tap confirm to continue". I am trying to get rid of that message and avoid the unnecessary extra step to press the confirm button before I can access the app. I am told by an app manufactured that it is a setting on my Samsung S22 Ultra with Android 12. But I am coming from an old Pixel phone and cannot find this setting on my new 22Ultra. Can someone direct me to the setting to turn off that extra step after facial recognition works? Thanks!
Sounds like you've installed some 3rd party app that does this. The default S22 behaviour doesn't show this message.
I can see you asked on other fourms, and they suggested things I was going to say. But it seems like some third party app is either doing this, or enforcing it.

Yes I posted on another forum but no solution there yet, just a few good suggestions that don't work. I don't have any other apps that enforce this behavior though. And I pressed support at RoboForm pretty hard about it and they insist it is not something in their app even though RoboForm is an app that it happens in. I am thinking it is when certain 3rd party apps are opened using face recognition, the Android system does not acknowledge those apps for some reason and pops up the message to do a 2nd confirmation before it will allow the apps to open. Thanks for the reply.
Have you tried unistalling Roboform to test if that fixes it?
I have found a few other apps that call up the exact same message so it is not just Roboform. I did uninstall and reinstall Roboform today for another reason and called up a health record app that does the same thing. It happened in the health app even with Roboform uninstalled.
I think we have determined that it is a system message. An app may call it up or trigger it when using face recognition but it is not generated by the app itself. If we knew what it was called then it would be easier to track it down. within Android or the Samsung settings. if it is even in the settings somewhere.
Yea, it's likely going to be a system message, that is called by certain apps in certain circumstances. But the only way you'll find it is to remove apps a few at a time until it stops appearing.
I get the same message and have looked everywhere for a setting. It doesn't exist. Pretty stupid behavior for sure.
Is there a solution? I have the same thing with Microsoft apps. So stupid..
Try: Settings, Biometrics and Security, Face Recognition, And untick: Stay on lockscreen until swipe.
For me, double tapping the screen or using the power button to wake the phone, triggers the face unlock which then quickly unlocks the phone with no other input.
Is this just one app, or all apps?
