My device is the Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 p5113 from the U.S.....I'm currently using carbon 4.2.2 after switching from CyanogenMod 4.2.2... I want to return to jelly bean stock. Either 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 if its available. I'm looking for the official stock firmware for this device.Something that will allow me the OTA of 4.2.2 when it becomes available. I tried several different download pages like the ones here on XDA and sammobile. The problem is, they all take me to the hotfile download server...IMHO, that server is crapola. Anyone with the firmware, or a mirror who could possibly send me in the right direction gets a thumbs up and maybe a beer...thanks much
Oh yeah! ....anyone know how to change the pics on our profiles? LoL

Were you ever able to find the firmware? I also want to go back to the original firmware, but can't seem to find it. When I do find a link, it either doesn't work anymore or is one of those that never seems to download.
I have sm-g9208 and I'm scared that i might never get 5.1.1 update I ordered this phone online and wondering if there is another firmware I can flash to get 5.1.1

Looks like 5.1.1 is not yet available for your S6. Just be patient and wait for official OTA or browse this:

I got an interesting notification from Samsung while browsing through the internet.
Android wants me to "update" to their 7.0 Nougat firmware with the december security patch. So far so good, firmware updates by samsung take ages anyway but there is a big problem
I already flashed to Oreo 8.0 with Odin 3.1
My question is how can I remove that forced software update? Samsung support told me Odin wouldn't be an official programm and that they won't help me with rooted devices..
From the little I've read here at XDA, the BL has not been blocked, so you should be able to re-flash the firmware you wish.

I am a new android user and have never used odin before. My ATT S8+ is on CRD7(may security)software right now which I downloaded from Samsung science firmware website. I would like to know how I can update to latest ATT release so that I can receive OTA updates in future. Would appreciate if someone can provide me with download links and steps to install the software.

Locate the updated and correct firmware. Perhaps via Samware.
Flash with updated Odin, as normally done. It is pretty straight forward. Checkout the how to's on this site, via search. Search is your friend.
Note. if you are updating to CRED version OS, you will not be able to downgrade.

Right now we are not able to use the pin security on the devices as is. Does anyone have this expertise. This is something we are planning to pay for if you have the ability to do it for us. Basically it's about flashing stock Samsung firmware files to your devices.

Download latest officially released firmware (there are multiple download sites available), then flash it with Odin to your devices.
