Instructions
Some common instructions for flashing ROM
1. Boot into Recovery (TWRP/Philz) mode by Pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Key at same time
2. Wipe Data
3. Wipe Cache
4. Format System from Advance menu
5. Now Select ROM zip file from SD card
6. Select YES and follow on screen steps.
Done.
Now Reboot your phone and wait few minutes.

TWRP 2.8.2 added works fine for backup. Flashed it using Flashify.

I've tried CWM Recovery but language is the main problem I don't know what to do in there..
we can only guess SD card and things written there but where's factory reset?
and please someone tell me how to flash the phone to stock rom?

According to the uploader, extract rar file and flash "ROM.zip" from stock recovery

You are all put the cwm of Huawei honor holly buy it is in korian language I cannot able to under stand anybody put cwm in English and put video of how to use cwm in Huawei honor holly....

After root, replaced to Chainfire SuperSU & moved to system. Xposed with GravityBox(KK), XHaloFloatingWindow, Xposed GEL settings, Forced Translucent Kitkat, YouTube AdAway etc all working fine.
DONOT try boot animation as bootloader is still locked.

Any DEV here??? Please check fastboot oem unlock (for unlocking bootloder) and fastboot recovery flash

i was messing with sptool and i just bricked my honor holly,
i think i wiped the whole partition table and system
please can any body provide firmware file to flash through sptool
i know i am messed up.
By the way cwm is in english and before bricking i flashed it via mobile uncle tool and was working but was unable to mount mass storage

I have the backup of whole frimware but i cant upload because the size is 2.2GB and my upload speed is 25KBps

did u backup with cwm recovery
just checked with sptool memory test it shows ERROR: NAND Flash was not detected!

flash boot and recovery then try to flash ROM.zip using recovery. Link available in 2nd Post

unable to flash boot.img and recovery.img but sptool detect my phone.
think i will have to take it to service centre

I need to Flash my phone to stock rom and stock recovery ( i've installed this CWM recovery but it's all in Indochinese still helped Thanks )
but I need to get back to my Stock recovery and Rom
I've tried to install Xperia Camera zip through CMW but really got worse , camera works fine still but video is not playing on youtube or any other app than web browsers
and I can't record video too ..
So I really badly need to flash the rom , I've downloaded the rom it's about 650 MB .. How can I flash it ? how to flash it?

I also ported CarlivTouchRecovery v2.7 for the Archos 50 neon only not 50b,50c or 45

*100% Pure fully functional MIUI.
*Everything working and tested : RIL,Camera,WIFI,Bluetooth,sensors,Sound.USB,and anything you can think of.

-Instructions:
1-Root your device. (for me i used this tutorial)
2-Install CTR Recovery (Use Flashify to flash the recovery.img or this tutorial(but fastboot doesnt work on my Archos))
3-Backup your current ROM using CTR or the original factory stock rom can be found here.
4-Download the ROM.
5-Copy miui_4.8.29_a50ne_4.2.2JB_Mar974.zip to your SD card.
6-Turn Off your device.
7-Boot to CTR using Volume down + power button combo.
8-Wipe Menu > Wipe Data - Factory Reset > Wipe Cache > Wipe Dalvik Cache .
9-Select "Install zip from SD card" select the ROM .zip, have a cup of coffee or whatever and wait for it to finish (play minecraft ... no it's a joke :laugh.
10-Reboot & set-up MIUI.
11-Flash Gapps like step 9.
11-Reboot and enjoy.

Hello guys! I have a problema with my 50 Neon device. I have bricked it with a bad rom flashing. I am trying to find the stock firmware to be installed with sp flashtool instead of recovery. My computer detect it as modem so i think i can flash it with this tool. But the room on the Archos web is only to be flashed via recovery.
Coudl you give me a hand? I am desesperated.

Hello try to flash CWM with MTK droid tool folowing this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEFcsQ8gC1E using the boot.img from the stock rom zip from Archos.
and you can flash the boot.img and recovery.img with sp flash tool : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R36ssKt6V4 using the stock rom from archos.
and What is your OS ? i know that they are some problem with windows 8 or 10 better use windows 7

Thank you and all people involved with it for developing a custom rom for archos 50 neon. I flashed your custom rom after i accidentally kind of killed my android (dont ask why, its a stupid reason). It works really fine
I am happy with it. It has some function I always wanted to have on my phone, but couldnt and admired other phones for that.
A question : In the changelog you wrote that you fixed some 1 GB RAM problem, that it showed 515 MB RAM. What is that about ? I didnt really understand what you mean with that. My Phone shows 515 MB

What can you say about that ? I HD be been thinking about the compatibility of Acer iconia ROM on this archos 50neon.

I will try to port more ROMS maybe later but still in 4.2.2 because the bootloader 4.2.2 is not compatible with 4.4.4 or later and Archos will not devellop any new rom for this phone
The Acer iconia use the same SoC so google maybe mess up or the ROM i port come from an acer iconia didn't know cause i find a working ROM that i can port from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-innjoo-i1-t2988125

I didn't know if this will work but you can try it at your own risk but flashify will flash CTR easily for you if you are rooted

Hello, i am having Archos 50 Diamond (gsmarena.com/archos_50_diamond-7042.php) with stock Android 4.4.4. Shoul i try to install this ROM. Am i risking my current (stock) recovery can be made not working? (i do not understand Android workings)
Or only risk is that i would have to install again the stock firmware using my stock recovery mode (Service menu)?
My touch screen is not reacting on touch and my aim is to connected USB hub with mouse and keyboard. Do you see the way for me please?

Quick Guide for Installing Custom ROMs
1 - Unlock your phone's bootloader
2 - Install custom recovery in Fastboot
3 - Put ROM's zip file in SD card and install it with custom recovery
4 - In android L , MM , N ROMs , you must install Modem Fix for Calls work correctly, you can download it from Modems Section
5 - You can root your phone by installing SuperSu . you can download it from Root Section, However Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat based custom ROMs have built in root, that can be activated from Developer options.
6 - Boot your phone with new ROM , download Gapps (Pico or Nano recommended), go to recovery mode again and install Gapps with TWRP.
Unlocking Y550 Bootloader
Register in EMUI.com (it is in Chinese, so use Google Translate) and get your Unlock Code, Once you have your code :
1 - Switch device off
2 - Boot into Fastboot Mode "volume down and power"
3 - Connect by usb to your PC, wait for drivers to install (just install the huawei app to get the drivers)
4 - Download and install ADB toolkit from google (or Android SDK Slim)
5 - Open the directory ADB toolkit is in, shift and right click and select open command window

IVE BRICKED MY PHONE !
1 - Download the Full Huawei Y550 ROM
2 - Download the Huawei update extractor
3 - Run update extractor and extract the ROM
4 - Copy the entire folder "dload" to the root of your SD card (so there is a folder on your SDcard called dload containing the update files)
5 - If your Device can go into Fastboot Mode then, Download and install Stock Recovery, If NOT then skip to next step.
6 - Hold down all physical buttons on your phone : volume up, volume down and power at once.

Hi!
First of all I wanna say sorry for the form of this publication post, I write from phone and I haven't got a lot of time.
I made a new ROM based on stockrom.
I named it battery edition because you can receive calls with it for more than 100 hours (if you follow my instructions bellow)
New modifications:
I changed system font (I think many times better than stock), fixed sdcard write restrictions, removed all the bloat apps and edited whitelist_appops+ added a modded kernel adiutor and app permission manager.
Instructions:
go to kernel adiutor, set GPU and cpu gov to powersave,set min CPU to 533, than go to battery options and disable everything except c3. In appops deny everything for googleplay services and for Google play store except notifications, deny wake up and keep awake for all the third party apps (use your brain for it, soma apps need this permission to notify you about things)than enable ultra power saving mode. That's it.
It's just a suggestion, not for everyday use, only for the case if you want to keep your phone able to receive calls for a long time or you have only a few percent in your battery.
THIS ROM HAVE THE LOWEST BATTERY DRAINING WITHOUT THIS SETUP TOO, YOU CAN TRY ANY OF THESE MODIFICATIONS FOR EVERYDAY USE TOO.

Look at vendors for example... Camera libs are missing and maybe others too!

I disagree with placing all 4.4.-based ROMs which are not made by Huawei itself in a common section, thus bagging together (1) modified stock ROMs based on Huawei and (2) modified custom ROMs based on CM-11, Carbon, PAC, etc. It seems more reasonable to keep them apart. The difference in installation size, look & feel, and performance is huge.​

Did you really succeed in lowering min CPU to 533 MHz? I tried and tried several tools (I recall also Kernel Adiutor, though not the modded version), and each time I set it to either 400 or 533, the system IMMEDIATELY reset it back to 800.

You were right, minimal CPU frequence it is down to 533 MHz (from 800 MHz). I don't believe it....

I'm looking for a VERY STABLE firmware for my Y550.
I thought that latest CM11 would be stable but I find it VERY LOUSY (come on... had to fix SD write permissions manually on a 2016 firmware) and I am having strange reboots...
I've seen there are CM12 and CM13. firmwares... CM13 seems very unstable... what about CM12 firmwares? Are these 64 bit versions of Android? (I know CM11 is 32 bit)
I won't care staying at CM11 as long as it is stable, but I looks like the CM11 builders don't care much about stability... this CM11 firmware I am using was clearly modified from a G650 CM11 release.

Unfortunately the most stable rom is stock Rom. You can set sd card as the main storage, good battery and good performance.
I'm waiting for CM13 future builds.

So i mentioned in the Post on top. If u have U4 bootloader it will cause problems, also if ur firmware it doesnt allow to boot OneUI4 i cant do anything. Ask Samsung. Its a Port of Unofficial Software. So i doesnt run on every device.

Because if you have a different opinion, please port it yourself. 75% of the users can use it, 15% can't because they are on the U4 bootloader and it causes difficulties. 10% unknown cause.

Nop! I find any fantastic mods roms on 4pda and now iam runing on u4 one ui 3.1 android 11 stock without warning windows and any junk apps. It is lighter and usablebfor bank apps and samsung secure apps. Iam waiting for u4 baseband versions of one ui 4.1 ... maybe make it a master!

It doesn't work I installed the stock rom myself and then tried to install your version but it just doesn't work the Samsung logo is there all the time and won't load...

maybe upgrade your phone to u4 then create roms for the latest botloader because then no one will have problems and u4 is not so bad literally all roms work outside samsung ports.

maybe upgrade your phone to u4 then create roms for the latest botloader because then no one will have problems and u4 is not so bad literally all roms work outside samsung ports.

Why i should upgrade my bootloader? So i am developer also and i dont flash any Bootloader with U4, so i cannot revert also. Bad Idea from u... I use only maybe "20 - 30libs" from a40 vendor, rest it from galaxy A51. Because A40 doesnt support official OneUI4. this is a full vendor port sir!
And honestly between us: what do you expect from an unofficial OneUI4 bugfree? Then you buy a device that supports OneUI4 and this is completely wrong. Just because you have the U4 bootloader with problems doesn't mean it's mine! Since glad that there is such a thing here!

I dont know what is u4 bootloader but for me it worked fine. Nice work. And thank you for keeping a40 alive.
