Simultaneous Bluetooth connectivity? - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

Greetings, I have a wireless earphone and am planning to purchase a MiBand2, willbthe Honor 6x support multiple connections at the same time and be able to provide a stable service for both?

Actually it isn't possible; multi-bluetooth HFP/A2DP support will be supported from Android P+.

interesting question possibley a stupid one

hello everyone i have question or maybe an idea for a talented dev i was wondering if it is possible to emulate a key fob (for a car alarm) using a windows mobile phone
Not the standard 433MHz transmitter.
But it would be possible to achieve similar with Bluetooth. Then you have to integrate a bluetooth receiver into your car alarm. Using serial communication you would then transmit lock/unlock commands. It would also be possible to auto-pair when in range and unlock the car automatically.

All thing are very "Techi" to me but if it possible then its defiantly proud to be WM user.
Anyway is it working with any other handsets...?
The Chevy Volt is suppossed to have an iPhone and BlackBerry app that will allow that, so yes its definitely possible. But their sollution may rely on 3G connectivity on both ends, I'm not sure.
" But their sollution may rely on 3G connectivity on both ends, I'm not sure."
if that is the case then the car would have to have a sim card too
otherwise you don't get a 3g connection more likely it's wifi based
In theory, you could use one of the phones with a USB port, with an adapter to 433 MHz to read in the pairing, then re-pair with a car.
But directly pair with a standard car-fob arrangement without additional hardware, no.

(Q) Does Asus Garmin a1o and m10 support BT map voice commands

Does Asus Garmin a1o and m10 support Garmin cityxplorer pedestrian or city navigator voice instructions through mobile phone Bluetooth headset?
Is it possible to keep the same BT headset on the same time connected to mobile phone, to answer any incoming call or dial out?
I don't know which one to buy except that a10 seems to be cheaper more then 100 Euros.
Is there any difference in a10 and m10 BT support capabilities?
PS. I mean to use a different BT supported phone for calling, because usually there are different sim cards for voice phone and high speed Internet and in abroad I use cheap local prepaid Internet whenever possible.

[Q] LTE model have hardware for voice calls?

Does anyone know if the LTE model has the necessary hardware for voice calls? IE: Does it have a microphone, proximity sensor, and appropriately located speaker?
I know it does not currently have the software support, but that can theoretically be added if the hardware is there.

Someone on Geforce forum has taken the back cover off and exposed the battery but not enough to see any of the detail that you ask for.
The other question is just what exactly does Nvidia mean by this "There is a version of the international SKU that supports voice on compatible networks, available for purchase in select regions."
DOES THE SHIELD TABLET LTE SUPPORT VOICE?
http://shield.nvidia.co.uk/tablet-faq/
I have the 32GB LTE version without a data plan, Wifi Only, and technically as long as there is data you can make VOIP calls on the Nivida Tablet using Google Voice/Hangouts or many other various VOIP applications available in the market. The Nvidia Tablet has a mic and speakers, but you can pair a bluetooth headset and use that for the calls. I have tried it with Hangouts and a bluetooth headset and it works making calls out using the tablet.... But I guess if it can be used as a phone with the built in hardware, it would first need a dialer app for you to be able to dial out calls.

Dual Audio via Bluetooth... where is it?

In the how-to videos for the SGS8, it shows the guy connecting to two bluetooth speakers at once and then going to the menu to start the dual audio. When I connect to a BT speaker and then try to connect to another, it disconnects the first one. If I have one of my speakers connected and connect my sony BT alarm clock, it will only connect to that for calls. If I check the box for it to connect to media, it drops the connection to the speaker again.
I don't have a whole lot of ways to test this, but I couldn't find any documentation about it either. We have BT5 and more protocols than the SGS8, so where is this feature?

Your devices (Speakers in this case) must all be BT5.0 compliant. Right now there are not many devices out with BT5.0 specifications.

That's what I thought initially, but it isn't true as the galaxy s8 does it with very very old BT speakers. Seems this phone doesn't have multi A2DP for some reason. Maybe something they can add to the BT driver in software updates...

Should be better
Xperia. I can understand if it's something complex like transferring files to 2 devices. But if it's only hearing to 2 different sets of speakers, that is simpler.
Anyway, B&O has pairing capability in their series of speakers. I have 2ea A2 Active, and they work marvelously.
If Sony can do this to the Xperia XZ Premium, I am confident they don't have to reduce the price to compete with the market.
Don't get me wrong, as I am replying to this thread using the G8142. Also, kudos to them on having the 835, since it supports DSD256 natively.
Go to the system settings into the developer settings and change the number of maximum bluetooth devices from 1 to anything else.

Actually you can connect several devices using this setting. But you can't send audio to two or more of them simultaneously. In this case you'll have an option in audio settings to choose an output device (only one) or 'this device' which is smartphone itself. Tested it on G8441.
Edit: also there is another problem: audio focus can switch to newly automatically connected device without prompt

AndroidOS and CarPlay - BT Connection Disconnected After CarPlay Handshake

Hello Everyone,
I am a new AndroidOS user and recently had a friend help me install a head-unit to my Audi A4. The head-unit is similar to the following model:
Audi/Seat | Qualcomm 665| Android / iPhone | Octa Core | 6GB RAM &128GB ROM | Integrated 4G Solution | IQ82A4AL
XTRONS IQ82A4AL is a brand new Octa-core car sereo for Audi/Seat with Qualcomm 665 6GB RAM 128GB ROM Integrated 4G solution plus the latest in-car entertainment features premium quality built-in DSP, CarPlay & Android Auto and more.
xtrons.com
Background:
I have noticed that when I INITIALLY pair my iPhone to the Android head-unit over BT, it will ask me to pair on my iPhone (which I confirm), and then switch to CarPlay automatically. At this point everything dealing with CarPlay is handled over Wifi (not BT), but if I go back to the main AndroidOS UI, and check if my BT is still paired, is it DISCONNECTED. I am also able to confirm that the BT connection is disconnected on my iPhone as well. Each subsequent connection, as soon as I turn on the car and it connects to my phone (over BT), it switches to CarPlay, and then the BT disconnects. I would have assumed the BT connection would still be active and paired at this point.
Question:
Is the BT connection being disconnected (after CarPlay is initialized) expected behavior? I chatted with my friend who is an Android-Auto user, and he said with his setup (using similar head-unit), the BT connection is ACTIVE even after Android Auto takes over control.
Any feedback on how this is supposed to work for Apple iPhone users, utilizing the CarPlay functionality, would be greatly appreciated. If I could provide any additional information on my side, to assist with troubleshooting, please let me know.
Thanks,
Asif
