Anyway to bypass Galaxy S7 pattern lock? Do not want to factory reset the device. No access to the google or samsung info for resets.
If it was "bypassable", it wouldn't be a lock ; )

What more to expect other than a cool answer from a guy with a cool Rick and Morty avatar
if you have unlocked bootloader you can patch boot.img (edit init.rc )then convert boot.img to boot.tar then. flash the file useing odin if you want more info tell my to post clear thread about how to patch boot.img to bypass the lock screen it is very easy

Does anyone have any development on this device? It's newer and running a droid 7.0 nougat. Any root info or bootloader unlock info would be greatly appreciated
I too am looking, upgraded from the smj320a, gotta day love the phone just needs root do I can retire my older one.
Side note, I noticed oem unlock is missing. Haven't been able to find a reason or answer.
Yeah I seen that too. I was thinking about trying the custom recovery twrp for the galaxy emerge which has the same board and specs as the j3 prime except it's running marshmallow. If I flash it that might work but then it will trip the frp lock and the phone will be soft bricked. It's hopeless with a locked bootloader
Well, frp bypass is kind of my new found hobby. Have locked 10 devices and bypassed them all, one was a new found bypass on the lg tribute 5 running that 5.1.1. So if you frp I can help. Can we tag people in these like that crap spy social network site? Aka FB. Because I do know someone who could possibly help.
I too would also like to root this phone. T-Mobile variant.
How do we go about getting the sm-j327t1 it's own set of development threads?

Verified boot. Maybe a root that takes affect after boot. Like a temp boot, an on and off switch type root.

I don't own this device, but according to what I can gather, it seems that FRP can be OEM unlocked, but the property is not set hence the property set to 0 for sys.oem_unlock_allowed.
For why it doesn't appear in dev settings I think is another issue. Can anyone confirm that this device does NOT have a manufactuerer locked bootloader.
Just to clarify:
OEM unlock = disable Googles FRP lock not unlock the bootloader.
If this device has a manufacturer locked bootloader then the likelyhood of root for this device is minimal.

The easiest way would be to simply remove the signature from the stock recovery image and then see if it flashes with odin. If it does the bootloader isn't locked. If it fails then it's highly likely to be locked.

That sounds promising
Yes I didn't set a screen lock as from what I've learned that's what activates frp, unfortunately my laptop has crashed (anyone good at bios pm me) but still no oem unlock and adb isn't working now, pc at work I've got android studios downloaded but I'll refrain from the lock until I can check, still don't know how to pull a signature from a stock image tho... But also in that article it States that oem unlock was enabled even tho there was no setting but they had unlocked boot loaders

Only way I know is factory reset. You can try and go to the snapdragon thread and use the root.bat we have, it removes lock screen use 2.82. It won't root without your confirmation (so no worries about messing it up) just let it do the first part (remove lockscreen)

bruh how to remove lock screen for Samsung M20 with out losing data ?
Hi,
I have a few questions about the FRP lock and the OEM lock on the Galaxy s6 running Nougat. I hope someone can help as I've not been able to find answers to questions this specific.
Ok, so, my first question is does the Galaxy s6 even have an OEM unlock option? If so, is it enabled by default?
Quick story before the other questions. I flashed TWRP and the sorts onto my s6 but decided to go back to stock and so flashed the stock firmware from sammobile through odin mode. After doing so I assumed the stock recovery would be restored and the phone would be as good as new right? As in all the FRP and OEM lock security features would be restored?
However, I did some research and found out that you can flash the stock firmware AGAIN as long as the firmware was signed by samsung even if OEM unlock is not checked.
My last question would be if someone was to use odin mode to flash the stock firmware, which is freely available, would the phone not ask for the previous Google account which was signed in on the device?
Hope is wasn't too hard to understand, I'm typing on my old S3 mini as I lost my s6 which is the reason I can't go and test this myself.
Thanks in advance
- There's no OEM lock on S6 (at least on international models). So, there is no OEM unlock option.
- If the bootable images (kernel and recovery) on your phone is Samsung signed, you can use FRP.
- If you want to revert the device to completely stock, I recommed that you should install a 4-part firmware.
- If FRP lock is not enabled on your device, phone won't ask anything about Google account (or Samsung account).

Hi,
Thanks for the informative reply. I have just one more question.
If I had enabled FRP through the Samsung Pass settings with my Samsung account and then I was to flash stock firmware on to the phone, would the Samsung FRP lock prevent the user from using the device by asking for the email and password or would the new firmware get rid of any of the security measures put in place?
I understand the FRP lock files are stored on a hidden partition not wipeable through the stock recovery however considering signed firmwares are freely available it would seem to me that the FRP lock would be deemed useless if anyone could just do that.
I guess my final question would be do signed firmwares downloaded online and flashed over the existing firmware wipe the FRP lock partition of the phone?
Thanks again for your reply

Phone will ask Samsung or Google account only if you wipe the data (we assume that FRP lock has been enabled before wiping the data).
If you don't wipe the data while flashing any firmware while installing (or the firmware you try to flash doesn't wipe the data), phone won't ask you anything.
And, if FRP lock enabled on the device, bootloader will deny to boot (or flash) the unsigned kernel or recovery.
There's no way to wipe FRP lock via Odin.
So, we can say that FRP lock is pretty secure.
Yeah
But u can easy **** with samsung when u flash stock 5.0 with odin and on pc have sidesync or someting like that samsung suck because with that tutorial u can bypass frp really easy

:/
well here's hoping a typical phone thief doesn't know how to do that....
Quick question though, can an S6 be factory restored if the user only used the phone's PIN from the lock screen to the factory reset option in the settings app? Or would you be prompted to use your fingerprint? I read somewhere that factory restoring a device through the settings app disables the innate android FRP but i don't know if it's also the case with Samsung reactivation lock which is supposedly similar to FRP.
Thanks for the replies I appreciate it
Read on the way out from house !!!
Sorry for my bad but im now on the way but 1 yeah u will need maybe fingerprint for turn off reactivation ( frp) but first when u lost your phone use samsung accound on the browser for track lock etc 2 for factory reset u need only turn off phone and go to the recovery mode

Hi. Where can I find your guide? I'm trying to disable MTK secureboot myself.
And what does it mean if my KG status says: BROKEN ?
I don't know what it is but every time I modify super.img or boot.img my Samsung Galaxy A22 5G will just refuse to boot. Is it because I have not disabled dm-verity and verification in the vbmeta? Do I have to disable anything else in the vbmeta? Thanks! (long time Xiaomi user here )

bypass secure boot
Upon entering download mode by holding both volume buttons and connecting a cable, the following options are shown:
Volume Up: Continue
Volume Down: Cancel (reset phone)
Side Key: Show Barcode
Looking through other threads/guides, it seems that there should be an option to hold volume up to unlock the bootloader. When pressing volum up the following is shown:
ODIN MODE
DOWNLOAD SPEED: FAST
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
KG STATE: ACTIVE
FRP LOCK: OFF
OEM LOCK: ON(U1)
any guidance/help is apprecitated

This is the reason why you can't unlock. U1 model's bootloader cannot be unlocked.
The model is SM-S908B/DS, so is there no way to unlock the bootloader?
