360 camera -- how to share fotos - Essential Phone Accessories

when i text pics taken with the 360 camera, it looks like a salvatore dali drawing on the recipients cellular-telefone or pc.
and they are unable to drag the field of view around. however videos work in vlc (but not mplayer/kodi).
is there a viewer that is able to view these pictures as intended.
also i put some pics on my webserver but firefox doesnt display them correctly. is there a webserver that can render them on a website ? (pannellum and photo-sphere-viewer seem to only work with panoramas).
these pics seem not to be able to be viewed without the essential 360-camera app. i'm the only one of my family/friends with an essential.

They display fine for me with Google photos and can be seen correct through Google photos for anyone they are shared with.

Is there an app like this?

I am looking for an app for birders. What I need/would like for it to do is attach notes, audio and geotag to a photo, and if it would pull weather data and attach to the photo that would be icing on the cake. I would like for it to store the photos to a folder named by the date the photo was taken. Finally it would be nice if it had an easy interaction with google earth/maps where I could view the photos by date/location. Probably to specfic but who knows.
So anything like that?
Except for audio and weather, you can just take a normal photo and upload it to picasa.

Photos upload sideways

I am running Infused 2.04 on my Infuse, and have always had the problem where photos taken while the phone is vertical, end up sideways when uploaded to Google+, sent in emails, and on the phone itself after I flash a new rom.
In other words, it seems the pictures themselves are not embedded with the picture orientation data, so when opened in other places, they are not rotated correctly.
For some reason, they upload to Facebook correctly, but no where else.
Resurrecting this thread.. Anyone happen to have a solution?
In my case, my portrait photos get rotated in Facebook, Google+, Twitter... seemingly any app I connect to using the "Share" function in the Gallery app. Oddly enough, the photos display in the correct portrait orientation in the Gallery app itself; they just get rotated when I try to share them.
I can fix the rotation by cropping a tiny sliver off the photos in the Gallery app; but doing so reduces the photo down to roughly VGA resolution.
Running Infused 2.3.3. Auto-rotation is enabled in the phone's settings.

[Q] Alternative Gallery app?

Does anyone know of a 3rd party gallery app for viewing pictures and video on the Gear 2 (or Neo)? Something that doesn't just show all the pictures and videos on the watch and really supports the actual folders? I hate when trying to show someone the videos or pictures taken with the watch and I have to view through watch faces, and watch hands and etc. I've seen one or two alternate apps that show the pictures, but not the videos.

How do you stop pictures from other apps showing up in gallery and camera?

How do you stop pictures from other apps showing up in gallery and camera?
Basically, if wifey sends a unique picture, why does it show in my camera view below when I'm trying to take a picture?
Put a file named ".nomedia" in the folder where the pictures are stored.

360 Cam photos and videos... how to post them for all to see???

The 360 camera add-on to the PH-1 is super easy to use and takes really good 360 photos but.... I am taking some 360 photos (and videos) of my house that I am selling and want to know the best way to get them out there on the web for everyone to see what I have for sale.
What is the best way to share them?
Essential has this informtion:
https://support.essential.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015527068-Sharing-360-content-on-social-media
But not sure if this will really help with posting photos for selling my house...
The 360 content works anywhere that already supports 360 images. The image saved is just a flat image of all directions. The metadata attached to the file tells viewers how to render the image.
When I share, I usually just share the web link from Google Photos. That works in Chrome for desktop and mobile as well as the app. But for real estate, you'll probably be uploading it to their platform instead. In which case, you have to see if they support that kind of content.
