Yes, you will find the .bat file inside it to flash the ROM.
Again a new thread just to post a link.
Why don't you use the existing threads about updates to post this?

I thought everyone would see this. So I made the new thread. If I post the link in the old thread with many comments, I don think it would help anyone who doesn't want to scroll all pages cluttered with a silly comment.

And yet, this is not how things should work... sorry!
I've been waiting for this. I wonder how they got the link.
However, the blog post mentions these two commands when flashing using fastboot:
Code:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
That'll effective remove one's IMEI as far as I know and shouldn't be done. I actually take a backup of those partitions before I start flashing anything.
Edit - Link isn't pointing to the usual sources. My guess is this is a dd command dump of all the partitions of an updated device.
thanks

I have used the versions provided by Andi in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/galaxy-tab-2-unified/rom-cyanogenmod-13-cm13-0-t3303798
The device is Tab 2 10.1 / GT-P5100 / espresso3g and I have used the common TWRP 3.2.2-0 provided by Andi from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=48848&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC
The addonsu (su (arm)) used is the one under LineageOS 13.0 here: https://andi34.github.io/roms_tab2_lineage.html
ROM version is lineage-13.0_espresso3g-6.0.1-20180611-0149.zip from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=143638&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC
To install both ROM and su I used sideload with TWRP 3.2.2-0 and terminal in linux:
Code:
sudo adb sideload lineage-13.0_espresso3g-6.0.1-20180611-0149.zip
and then right after BEFORE rebooting doing:
Code:
sudo adb sideload addonsu-13.0-arm.zip
Could someone please help me out?
Thanks,
Hekja
@Android-Andi
You also need a userdebug boot.img which contains needed selinux rules for the addonsu. Not sure if I uploaded it somewhere, user haven't followed the rules and that's why the thread was closed and maybe the boot.img never shared.

Thank you very much for your reply Andi.
I have added the addonsu when sideloading ROM's with S3, S4, and S4 mini with no need adding anything else to make root management work. Could you please explain why it is different with the espresso3g?
Thanks,
Hekja

user vs userdebug security has high priority and since there's no negative side affect I've abandoned userdebug builds.
If I find time I can send you a userdebug bootimage, maybe remind me end of next week if you haven't heard from me

That's okay Andi. Thanks for caring :good:
Just want to notify that I have installed the 14.1 ROM instead.
The file is lineage-14.1_espresso3g-7.1.2-20180131-1859.zip which I downloaded from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=209384&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC
When sideloading the addonsu-14.1-arm-signed.zip from: https://download.lineageos.org/extras I got access to root management.
After trying out the 13.0 ROM my experience was that it was not as responsive and stable as I hoped for. So I tried out the 14.1 and it seems like it is both more stable and responsive. Experience until now very good actually. So with the root management activated too I am going to stay with the 14.1 ROM.
Still using the common TWRP v. 3.2.2-0 provided by you Andi. https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=48848&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC
Thanks

I've a new build ready and also made flashable kernel zips with usersebug kernel for those who like to use lineage Su add-on on latest build. Will be up later today.
Attached userdebug kernel for yesterdays build (will be up later today, still uploading) for those who like to use the LineageOS Su Addon.
Can't say if the kernel works on older builds
Build contains October ASB patches
Hope everyone enjoyed the christmas days! Have a good start everyone into a healthy year 2019!!!

Not going to share private contact information here. If you have any development related questions ask them here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2137606 and I'll maybe answer when I have time for it. I've stepped back from Android and not being much around here.
Enough OT here I guess.

Stock ROM NPJS25.93-14-18 7.0 with April 01 2018 Security Patch: My Stock ROM thread

ROM downloads:
If you are on a totally unmodified system (N 7.0 NPJS25.93-14-18):
Blur_Version.25.236.3.athene.retail.en.US.zip
OTA_Package_OPJ28.111-22-1.zip
If you have installed TWRP or are on custom ROMs or have root and TWRP (whatever combo) there are two ways of flashing the latest build:
Method 1: Use the TWRP Flashable Builds created by @Jleeblanch . This will not remove your TWRP. Don't know about root yet.
Download and flash the OPJ28.111-22 TWRP flashable version in TWRP.
Method 2:
1. Flash stock N 7.0 via fastboot IF AND ONLY IF your bootloader version is BL1.06 or older. Don't try to downgrade. Else prefer Method 1.
2. Install the OTA file "Blur_Version.25.236.3.athene.retail.en.US.zip" via stock recovery/ADB Sideload or by placing it in your internal storage and granting Motorola Update Services Storage Permission and then Checking for Updates.
3. Install the file "OTA_Package_OPJ28.111-22-1.zip" by the same method as given in step 2.
For flashing updates using stock recovery:
Reboot to stock recovery. And choose update from SD Card. Choose the zip and install it.

Yup. when you look at 'android-version' in 'about a phone' it should say 3.39d. At buildnumber itselfs it says 00WW_3_39B_SP01. Look at the name from the sideloadfile: WW 3.39D December 2018 (B2N-339D-0-00WW-B03-339B-0-00WW-B01-update.zip)

It is easy..
After installing the December update, at many places the font has become weird. Shadow and outline has been added to font at several places. It looks out of place. For example, the header for each card in the settings menu, the battery percentage, the time etc. I have attached screenshots. I tried restarting my phone several times doesn't help. Anyone else facing this issue??
EDIT: Actually this change in font has happened everywhere, but is only visible on dark backgrounds or bigger font sizes.

Yes, that is what I did. Sideloaded the Nov update. And immediately after restart, the Dec patch starts to download. This is so weird. Wonder why my phone was stuck with Oct patch (Pie) for so long and no new update found even after countless of times checking for update.

This is still in beta but it wouĺd be worth keeping an eye on it. Don't know if it would be compatible with our phone, though.

Looks interesting
I want to be sure I am using the correct firmware for this patch. It is for October right ?
Can anyone tell me if this is the correct firm to use for this boot.img patch ?

Or maybe this is the Oct release ?

Thank you !

Ok thank you for the info. BTW -- I just noticed that they are pushing NOV UpDate to my phone.
I just lost Root on my last update, so I might try this ... but I assume if I update to Nov then I can
NOT GO BACK to a lower version and I can not get Root ? Am I correct ??

Oh ? I must be confused again Would I use the boot.img from this thread we are in now ? the October Patch ? Even though it is
a November update ? and do you know if TWRP will instal also ?
So I would just allow them to push the update to my phone, then start the root process again with your boot.img via Odin. ?
Thank you for your help.

Yes this boot.img will work and twrp also.
Looks like the update for our phones is a little late, but is available for previous gen models.

That's because we are special ?
But there seems to be a relevant cause as of why it's late. Changelog speaks of changes/fixes regarding Pixel Wallet. Maybe they'll announce it at the beginning of the upcoming week. And there are a lot of fixes IMHO:

I'd rather wait a week to receive a well-rounded, polished update rather than something half-baked for the sake of releasing it at the originally projected time frame. Absolutely no issue for me!
Well here we are. December 9th, still no update! Wow.

It's available OTA for me but I stopped it, I think I'm gonna try flashing it and maybe I'll end up with a unlocked bootloadt (Verizon)

I tried this, but keep getting installation failed. *shrug*
Whoops, I believe due to custom kernel, lol.

Yeah got the same, but I don't know how to revert to the stock kernel. If someone managed to share a flashable zip, we can flash the stock kernel, remove magisk then install the OTA and flash again magisk + kernel after.

I just got the boot.img from the factory image, fastboot flash boot --slot all boot.img
Installed OTA and re-rooted, flashed FrankenKernel.

Yeah but requires your PC, was hoping to do it without it, kinda the point with OTA files ^^

That's a lot of words. I like moving pictures with people talking. Easier for the brain.
Just got this update today and it seems to be going well unfortunately I'm missing the photo blur feature on the Google photos app and all apps and software are updated to December update. Plus the photos app specifically updated 6 hours ago so for some reason it's wired but I can't see that feature so I just have to double tap on the option instead of having the suggestion.
Also I don't know how much truth there is to this but apparently Google photos will allow you to share photos in full resolution. But I doubt that effects the uploads. Lastly I heard that this update also brought a brand new Google assistant? It's wired because I already had the brand new assistant when I got my device a few weeks back after I changed my device language to English US.
Please let me know if anyone else has missing features that were supposed to be included in the December update.
