Now that's really unfair! Exclusively from the German online Samsung store the 9+ Dual SIM 256Gb is available for €1,049 but they will not ship outside Germany. It's only €100 more than the 64Gb version. I need to find a new German friend to buy it for me even if I have to pay the VAT! It will be available from 20 March.
How do you imagine the process? Iam form germany and have just order the 9+ 64GB.
It's gonna appear in other online shops as well, will probably take some time. And those will probably also ship to your country, just wait it out.

last year when the S8+ was released i did get my shipping mail one day later and the phone was already on its way
i think we get it on saturday like last year ... if the shipping way is the same it comes with the ship to amsterdam and flys to leipzig ... the next day it is at your door.
so it takes 48h.
I pre-ordered my S9+ at Mediamarkt (single sim, 64gb) on March 2nd and asked if they got the dual sim model. They said this was only sold in the Samsung online shop. Today, when I picked it up they gave me a dual sim model without saying anything to me and I noticed it when I got home.
Someone else with the same issue here?

In Germany, Mediamarkt, Amazon, deutsche Telekom, o2 and some more are only selling the DUOS DUAL SIM variant. That's normal.
It seems they are having problems with delivering the single model.
I pre-ordered my phone while the presentation at the mwc and its not shipped until now.

Has this device got a planned UK release date at all? I cant find any info about when I would be able to walk into a brick and mortar shop and pick one up. It was announced 2-3 months ago, reviewed a month ago and still nothing. Its ridiculous. Same with the htc desire 820. Its like they are phantom phones. No info on expansys, cw or simplyelectronics websites. All a bit worrying.

i got mine off eBay UK for £530 including shipping. A lady in Birmingham had 4 an it sold out within £48hrs. just keep looking on eBay. you might get lucky.

Dude that is crazy. I am using the European model with 2gb and came from a z2 with 3gb and this is faster. The chinese model is problematic for UK users but if you prefer more numbers then pay extra. I paid £355 for mine and its best phone to date. I have owned loads or I would not be on xda

Hi , they just started taking orders for Moto X Play in Brazil, Delivery time about 5 Days , i just ordered the 32Gb Model .
They are selling the Moto X play 32 gb with an extra blue back cover for R$ 1423,00 ( Around U$ 412 dollars tax incl. )
and MOTO X Play 16gb for R$ 1329,00 ( Around U$ 379,00 tax incl.)
I Still don't know the Model Number , but they are selling without contract , no carrier bloatware .
Currently i own a Galaxy S6 Edge, Moto X 2 gen Vintage Leather and an iPhone 6. I will be buying the Moto X Style when it become available. I'll post when it arrive next week, pictures and my thoughts about size, weight , display and camera.

Well, we have to wait a few weeks to see the specs , bands etc.. But if you buy it unlocked , big chances it will work fine, 4G and all, my Moto X 2 gen. bought in Brazil works fine in US using T-Mobile ( LTE Bands are fine) .
you can pre-order it in Germany, too.
Conrad.de seems to be receiving it starting Monday -- the only problem is that they are not shipping outside Germany. This, of course, can be tricked if you are from the EU (using services like mailboxde.com).
the price is also very competitive there, only 349 EUR (compared to Amazon.co.uk asking for the same config 346GBP!)

I guess (hope) that the Amazon price is just a placeholder. Anyway, it's available to preorder on expansys too.
you're right, they updated the price now and it's 270GBP, which is around 380EUR. that is now only 30EUR more than what the german store asks for the same device.

Yes, i didn't knew that when i ordered, mine just arrive, and it's in fact dual NANO sim. I know it has Band 7, coz it's the one used around here. Will post more soon as i have more info.

Asus hasn't provided information regarding the availablity, but you could expect it to be available in Q3.
At the website Tweakers they talk about august, september. One thing i like with Samsung is that afther a presentation, the phone is some weeks later in the stores. I want a Zen 3 Ultra now!!!
If the unit comes in August or September , it should identify in which cases Asus has just cut back .

From the asus website specifications there looks to be a CN and WW version with different frequency bands.
I wonder if the 12th July date is just for a CN/TW version and the WW version will be later on?
This looks like the phone for me. I had no problem with the size of my 7" Huawei X1 but software was terrible and reception flaky, my Sony UltraZ 6.4" has been fine but after using a 7" screen everything else seems too small. Hope it hits the Australian market soon.
6.8-inch ZenFone 3 Ultra will be released on July 27.
Asus plans to start with shipments of the ZoneFone 3 model to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and by August will ship all models to the three markets as well as to Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

When you say "this seller" it'd help if you provided a link, so people could know what you're talking about... If you mean Kiletrading seller - his version is of no use to me, or anyone in USA - doesn't support US LTE bands. I need bands 2,4,12 for T-Mobile - all missing.

I've just got mine yesterday in Malaysia. The phone is a perfect replacement for my Sony Xperia Z Ultra, as they share similar dimensions and weights, yet the screen is much larger and the speaker sounds awesome!
Finally one site that ships internationally has Ultras on sale. DealExtreme, about $640, all three colors, only 4GB/64GB version. I think it's the international/non-Chinese version. For mysterious reasons, the gray color is more expensive than other two.
Note that you might not be able to combine your phone order with any other article because they seem to keep stuff in various warehouses and can't collect it into a single shipment. You can only combine Ultra with stuff that has their internal code starting with 852. So far they seem not to have any additional matching items like cases or screen protectors.

Seems like I spoke to soon, they have just put the phone for sale on their site, but one cannot actually buy it. They've cancelled my order without explanation.

Just ordered 64gb Orchid Gray S8. Decided on S8 rather than S8+ I figured a 5.7" screen was big enough!
This is my first ever Samsung phone, coming from OnePlus 3T. Really like the screens they are amazing.
Would be interested to know more about the processor and if bootloader will be unlockable like US versions. Actually with the 3T I just kept it locked and stock as well.
The US versions will be unlockable? What's your source on that? Word has been they will continue to lock all North American Snapdragons as has been their recent policy. The international on the other hand has remained unlockable and the conventional wisdom is it will remain so for the time being.

For the US version, I was looking at threads here, but admit did not go into a lot of detail in them. I bought directly from Samsung. I dislike carphone warehouse I had a pre-order for an HTC 10 with them, decided to cancel. What they didn't tell me at time of canceling was rather than getting automatically re-funded I got credit instead. I was just inside the window to get the money charged back to my account.
Also decided to go for the orchid grey as it looked amazing as well!
I'll wait three months or four. Then i might get the S8!
I was told by many stores that you can test the S8 and S8+ yourself beginning tomorrow 31.03.2017.
Sadly no promotions for us in Europe at all. Asked many stores across Germany, Switzerland, Austria as well as UK.

I contacted my local vendors, Amazon as well as Samsung directly. They confirmend that we here in Europe won't get any promotions other than the included headsets.
At least not in Austria, Germany and Switzerland

i dont think we will get the promotions as in the sd card + headphones bundle but we will get a free gear vr or a dex station otherwise Samsung would lose a lot of customers
Ordered both from Samsung shop UK (wasn't sure what size I wanted) but noticed CPW in the uk were offering a free Bluetooth speaker with pre orders (Don't need one but it's free, and more than samsung are offering)
So decided to cancel both my samsung pre orders and just ordered the S8 from CPW with free gift.

I have gone for the S8+ through O2 and you get a free speaker with them. Went into their store today and had a play on the S8 and S8+. Glad I have gone for the latter as it isn't as big as I feared. The size is actually really nice and both models look even more stunning in person.

I saw how the OnePlus 6 came out today, and how it is for sale everywhere but Amazon in the UK. I don't particularly like buying from Germany, as I don't want to pay the extra conversion rate fee, if any.

They have not ever launched with another partner in the UK other than o2

Yeah I went to the popup in London, at lunch time was too busy but went after work and got it quickly! It's worth the wait - I wish I waited and used my student discount now!
o2 have matched oneplus website pricing, if it's not official yet (i was told it will be today) you do need a £15 payg sim if buying it outright though.
EDIT: yep prices are matched on o2 website now, pop in to a store and get it there and then or click and collect (skipping the payg sim requirement)
