Looks really nice, the glass back is nice to hold and they manged to fit a lot of features in a compact frame.

Glass back is I believe very similar construction to S8+, looks nice, just don't drop it.
It is one sexy phone. I would've loved a jet black version (screw the fingerprints) but Canadian carriers only have the grey and purple models. Still a very goods looking phone. I love how featureless the front looks compared to my previous phones
I love the look of this phone. It's very classy !
I agree; black works a treat(in the US, Midnight Black is the default for Unlocked). What I would like to find is a clear case for the S9+, so I can still use the edge and other features through the case (has anyone found one?).
best looking phone ever. no notch (no hole, lol) ! and the edges are beautiful. cant imagine to have a phone without those edges.

It has been around 2+ years since this phone has launched.
At this time of writing, the phone's aesthetics has withstood the test of time, and still holds up to its more modern counterparts.

Love the sandstone back
I think it looks sharp. The sandstone back looks different to all the fingerprint smudged glass/metal backs. The only minor gripe that I have is that you can't change the color of the capacitive buttons. Other than that its a 9/10 from me.
its too thick if we compare it with current smartphones. Except that everything is good.
Decent design
every bit a premuim design and i love it
There's nothing like OPT, so big props for that. It's truly unique and very nice phone, standing out for sure. This is love it or hate relationship, first when I saw it on leaks I thought they are joking, but with the time I have started to like it more and more and in the moment I could hold it in hands I knew "this is it".
Great looking phone. Quite uniqe with sendstone cover. Pretty good and original idea option is to have style swap covers.

The Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a crazy crisp display. Just kidding, this is automated text so who knows if this screen is any good. So, you be the judge! A higher rating indicates that it's extremely sharp and clear, and that you cannot see pixels with your naked eye.

Great resolution, for me 1080p is good enought so I have it there. Not much difference in battery to be honest but it doesn't hurt.
Had a s8 on release date and had a bad screen but this one is perfect don't think u can get any better
I've had many Samsung devices that had pink hue problems with them even tho I've been satisfied with the devices I've noticed my s9+ has a perfect screen so I'm very happy.
I would like to see the s8+ next to the s9+ to see of there's any difference.

Mine has a slight pink hue at an angle on my 9+. Not sure if I should exchange considering the rest of the device is ok. I have the black crush issue but it seems that might be a software setting.

I really love my XZ2 Premium.
Great screen, great battery life, not bloated with ware, expand disk by sd-card, and the camera in black and white is sublime.
It's 2023 and I have just bought another one, demo unit but like brand new one.
I really, really love this phone. It has its' weaknesses, but nothing really serious. Each phone has them. But the display form factor, camera quality (still great!) and overall impression is unbeatable for me. I've already tried different other flagships (from Samsung - I have Galaxy S10+ and from Huawei - Mate 40 Pro) but I decided to go back to XZ2 Premium. Real love ;-)

Here is where they come up a little short... The skin is boring or you will get bored fast of it.
Software was super bugging when i got it but i have updated it to 3.11 and since it has improved sooo much

We all have our own reasons for loving Android, ranging from our favourite OEMs design language to a great feature that can’t be found elsewhere, or perhaps just a great value price point. This is mostly thanks to some healthy competition and a sprinkling of strong product diversity. But this isn’t just true for hardware, Android software can be just as diverse, as OEMs attempt to put their own spin on things in a bid to stand out. Some more successfully than others, it has to be said.
Love them or loathe them, various OEM skins have enhanced and even innovated enough on stock Android to even become incorporated as key features in future versions. Despite the odd disaster, on the whole custom OEM skins and software have been a good thing for the broader ecosystem. Here are just some of the ways that OEM skins have benefited stock Android.

The one and only thing I want to know at this point is if this is confirmed to have a flat display or not? No curves around the edges?
Rahulbhai
Flat, curved kind of back.
Love the device. Probably going to ditch my iPhone XS Max I switched to 4 months ago when the last jailbreak came out. Still so much garbage, even jailbroken, the iPhone annoys me about.
The 8T is a really great looking device, the new AOD display finally!!!
Plus, you can root it, bootloader unlock, and of course run and customize your launcher.
Only ownside....5G...only TMobile at this point??? They should build the frequencies in the chip for all carriers and 5G signals like Apple did.
Problem with OnePlus again, network support not there for everybody?!?! Anybody got ideas on that or info?
I definitely prefer the flat screen compared to the curved edge screens but I don't like any holes or notches in screens at all. I also don't like the massive camera area for basically the same cameras that have been used on the last 3 phones, plus an additional mostly useless one. OnePlus is becoming a Samsung clone at a higher price!
Interesting . One plus was never famous for their aesthetics, in my opinion the LG phones have always been more pleasing to look at. When compared with Apple, although I would rate them about the same when it comes to looks, iPhones are crafted with aesthetics in mind, so it's no surprise iPhone XS would make more heads turn than one plus, which looks like a generic Chinese phone.
As for as clarity, nothing to write home about. Doesn't offer 3K resolution which made me say no to buying the phone only a few seconds after reading it.
People say they don't see any difference between EHD (3K extra hd resolution), and FHD+, but after having used both I strongly disagree.
OPPO FIND X2 PRO with its drop dead gorgeous screen, I can never find myself satisfied by something like one plus 8t.
It was a very bad decision to not increase screen resolution. One plus seems to be losing track of who and what they are. Even though their neighbors right next door at OPPO in BBK electronics quietly launch good phones without publicity
It's disappointing there is no silver 12GB/256GB option.. so I had to choose the other one, which looks less good in a black case.
