How do I stop this "usb debugging" pop up from appearing on my lockscreen?
It only started appearing recently when I connect the phone to a power supply for recharging.
Phone is rooted nexus 5 running stock 6.0.1 with xposed, GravityBox, and Nova launcher - none of which seem to have a setting I can find to control this.
Thanks.
Have you looked under developer settings? Personally, I leave it on at all times so I can pull data from the phone if something goes wrong.
I too leave it on all the time. It's the popup warning on the lockscreen that is new.
In developers options you can turn debugging on and off but I can't find the setting to turn the warning/notification off. It didn't used to appear.

Hey, since installing lollipop on my N5 when I have my phone on silent and receive a call the screen will not turn on. It does vibrate, however I would also like my display to turn on without having to use the power button. I have looked through the notification setting however I can't find a setting to allow the above to happen. Can anyone advice what I'm doing wrong??
So I'm using Stock Android 5.0.1 Nexus 5.
The problem is my lockscreen never turns itself off.
So the phone goes to sleep from any normal screen after 1 min (as per settings).
This turns the display off and everything is fine.
But if I manually get the lockscreen up by pressing the power button or by plugging in a charger the lockscreen will stay on forever. I think its supposed to turn off after 10 - 15 sec or so but it doesnt do that anymore.
So every time I plug in a charger I have to make sure I turn the display off again.
I'm not sure when it started. I have dev options enabled on the phone but I never found any setting to fix this anywhere.
Edit: Reboot fixed it for now but I'm pretty sure its recurring. Well with luck its not.
Reboot
So i just wanted to copy some files from my computer to my H60-l04 (rooted, B521, TWRP) and it just doesn't show any notification how I would like to use it. It does charge but even the HiSuite doesn't recognize it. Fastboot seems to work but adb doesn't. It doesn't work with a different PC either.
Last week everything worked fine.
What could be the problem here? How do I solve it?
Try sending files through recovery?! Maybe it will work.
Open the notification area from above. You should see one notification only "usb debugging connected" notification. If it's the only notification then click on it and turn off "usb debugging" and turn it back on. This should bring the detection up immedietly. If not then try to turn off "Developer options" and turn it back on.

Thanks, fixed it. There was no notification "USB debugging connected" but after changing the setting, it works again.
I'm on FRD-F09 - EMUI 5 - B360.
Every time i leave the developer options and come back i have the USB debugging option turned off.
I can't really use the Titanium Backup because of this. Every time I go to TB it says that usb debugging is off.
How to fix this?
Pixel XL - constantly defaulting to "USB supplying power to attached device"
No matter what I do, this phone constantly defaults to setting it to "USB supplying power to attached device" mode. I have never used this option so I'm unsure why the phone is doing this. I also need to adjust the settings when I try to charge it because it does not recognize that it is plugged in to a charger. After plugging in the phone to the charger, sometimes it will correct itself to "Charging" mode by switching it in the drop-down of the notification area and sometimes it will switch over after opening the Battery in settings. I have to play with the settings just to get it to charge every time and always have to have it plugged in first otherwise it will immediately default back to "USB supplying power to attached device" mode.
This phone was purchased used from someone who said they rooted the phone, but didn't install any images or roms. It currently is not rooted. And it is the Google Store version with the unlocked bootloader. Not sure if that info helps.
Can anyone tell me if this is a hardware or software issue and how to fix it?
If it was mine I would flash a factory image to narrow it down. Most likely software.
