Missing apps in full-screen display setting - Honor View 10 Questions & Answers

When I was playing a mobile game, I accidentally clicked the "Full screen display" bar on the right side of the screen and the game and it caused the game display abnormally. I tried to disable it setting > display > full-screen display and I found that the app is not listed in the setting. Is there any other way to disable the full-screen setting? Why there are some apps not showing in the full-screen display setting?

Go to app info from the launcher or recents screen (hold the top bar of the app for a second till you see the info button and click on it)..there should be a setting to stop full screen...

No there s not.
He may need to clear the app data or reset app preference to get this done.
Not all apps are included in setting display option for full screen.

[Q] Modifying Motion Gestures

I use double tap to wake almost exclusively to turn my screen on, but I find some of the other HTC motion gestures annoying or problematic. For example, I have pulled my phone out of my pocket, while accidentally holding a volume button, and the camera app opened. This is generally an annoyance, but I have had this occur in a dark room followed by blinding everyone near me with the flash. I'm using ViperOneM8 at the moment, but didn't see an option to selectively enable these gesture controls.
Under display and gestures in settings.

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. I want to disable to landscape+volume to turn on camera, but I want to keep double tap to wake. I don't see any option to do that.

Completely agree with you; I find myself triggering voice calls more frequently than I'd like. Unfortunately, the current ROM only permits "all" or none with the motion gestures (hopefully they'll fix that if enough folks complain).

I believe that option is in the camera app settings.

That setting only affects the volume button function while the screen is already on.
It is a all or none approach as a previous poster stated as far as I can tell. Can wait until the devs figure out how to mod that.

OPO new user - how to?

Hi,
I've just bought a used OPO from a friend and have a couple of doubts in how to customize some functions..
How can I customize buttons to reverse long press home for recent apps and long press menu for google?
How can I remove phone from lock screen?
Can I remove google bar from recent apps?
Probably I'll have some more doubts later on, but I'd already be happy with these answers I couldn't find myself on Google.
Thanks.:good:

Search bar is disabled in home but not in recent apps.
This is what I mean by phone in lock screen.
Thanks.
in about phone, turn on advanced mode, the options should be available in buttons. you can customise your lockscreen in settings.
It worked!! Thank you so much! I was also able to remove recent apps search bar in display settings.
no problem
One more question if you don't mind.. Why can't I select same wallpaper image for home and lock screen? I can select and adjust home wallpaper position to where I want, but lock screen I only found option in themes but doesn't allow adjustment.
In my nexus and Samsungs I usually went to Gallery select image and clicked "Set as Wallpaper" - Home and Lock Screen", but in OPO this option is not available..
Thanks.

What does recent apps "lock this task" do?

This may be an obvious questions, but I'm struggling to find information on what this feature is.

I thought it worked like pinning an app used to in previous versions of android, but this seemingly does nothing. I can still swipe away locked apps.
Searching for an answer brings up app pinning (aka kiosk mode - where a pin code is required) and the Good Lock app.
Android 11
ASUS ROG Phone 5
Stock ROM
Thank you
App Pinning is not enabled by default, App Lock keeps the app just where it is, it won't be cleared, swiped out, or gone without you unlocking it, even if you rebooted the device, it'll be there.
That's the superpowers of App Lock. The app can be killed, and normal battery optimisation runs on it, it'll just remain on recent apps screen, whether it is dead or alive.

What I'm saying is that App Lock does not prevent swiping away the app. Here's a video showing just that.
Edit: Added a better video
The application won't be closed when you clear all other applications from your memory.

Hmm that seems to be the case. So it prevents clearing with the "Clear all" button but can still be swiped away. That's not very useful, unfortunately.

It cannot be swiped away for me either.

}
Description:
There are 5 widgets in the application, there is no application interface itself.
2 widgets - transparent widgets, for locking the screen by double-clicking and single-clicking, respectively. (arbitrary size).
3 widgets - widgets in the form of a lock of different colors, for locking the screen by pressing. (1x1).
Tap on the application icon also blocks the screen, this was done for the general style under "Thematic icons", android 13 (Pixel)
Instruction:
1. Install the application.
2. Open system settings /Accessibility/DoubleTapWidget
warning will be issued,
press "OK".
3. Open system settings / applications / find in the list DoubleTapWidget / Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner - "Allow settings changes", will ask for a password.
4. Again we go to point 2, but now you can activate the toggle switch
5. Go to the home screen, open the list of widgets, and select the desired widget.
Advantages:
1. The application does not consume battery as it uses a simple widget.
2. Without Root
3. Without any advertising.

Version: 1.2:
It skips the screen off animation. Is it possible to add it back? Maybe power off with root to achieve this?
I use this widget "Screen off - Widget & tile".

We don't have double tap to sleep on stock.
I always use double tap to sleep features that come with Nova Launcher. Great works, regardless

As mentioned yes unfortunately there is no double tap to sleep on stock unless you use a custom launcher.
