Currently i have a Chinese Version of lollipop (5.0.1)For my s4...but it has no google Features in it..i.e no play store etc.
so now i want to install official 4.4.2 via odin
but when i click on start it shows "complete (write)operation failed"
when i googled this issue
some people say that if u have a newer version of android u cannot roll back to older version. u can only install same version or an upgraded version
some people say change the usb cord and port. ..i did that thing thrice....nothing happened
since there is only one Chinese official 5.0.1 for s4 till now ...rest all of them are 4.4.2
So now i am in a trap i cannot roll back and i cannot use chinese version of lolipop
Plz help me out with this issue..
I have the older model of the Note 10.1, and the android version is stuck at 4.1.2, and my family who have a similar device. I was wondering if there is a way to upgrade the stock Firmware, since samsung chooses not to allow us to upgrade the firmware

A couple of hours ago, I downgraded my Lenovo A7000-a From Android Marshmallow ( can't remember what version it was cause it was hell of a **** ) to Lollipop stock Android version 5.0, Baseband version( A7000.ROW.V15,2015/11/27 ), Build number ( A7000-a_s153_151127_ROW ) as described in the ( Device information ). The reason for that is that Marshmallow is a **** garbage and made my phone ****, laggy and the UI was full of bugs. When I bought my phone out of the box was Lollipop 5.0 and I got update from Lenovo in the system update to 5.1 Lollipop - Before the Marshmallow was officially released in the system update - and just until the official update for Marshmallow came out, and I wish I had not updated it.
I used the SP Flashtool and the version found on this Link : https://cloud.mail.ru/public/HiQB/FY5XGcn89 . Everything went fine and I was able to downgrade to 5.0. The thing is, I want to update to 5.1 ( the most stable version, and avoid the ****ing Vibe **** UI ) and the update I have in the system update of the device is directly to the **** Marshmallow and of course I want to avoid that at any cost. I have some questions about that : Will I be doing the same process ( with the SP Flashtool ) to update to 5.1, hence it is no more available in the system updates ?. and I'm not an Android geek so I do not where to find the Lollipop version 5.1 ( it is not mentioned the Lollipop version it just states like that : A7000-a_S152_150917_ROW_TO_A7000-a_S153_151127_ROW_WC1E.zip ) on this website in the OTA section : https://boycracked.com/2016/03/07/official-lenovo-a7000-stock-rom/ .
So where to find the most stable version of Lollipop 5.1 ( without the **** Vibe UI ) for Lenovo A7000-a ? and How to properly update my device from the current version 5.0 Lollipop to 5.1 Lollipop ( without loosing applications and of course without ****ing up my phone and losing it forever ), if I'm going to use the SP Flashtool ?
PS, I want to do this update because Lollipop 5.1 felt more intuitive, Not that Lollipop is bad in any way - oh God Marshmallow was the only and most ****ed up experience - , but 5.1 felt better for me.
Thank you in advance for your help

Good luck and welcome to XDA!
I bought a used Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N9005) recently, and it was updated to Lollipop 5.0. And after few days I found out that the Phone Radio/Modem was not functioning well (I almost had full 4G coverage when I was using my J7 with the same SIM card, and now it's EDGE. What the ....! ).
I'm not an Android or any type of Mobile expert (not a good English speaker at least ). So as their were rumors saying that the Lollipop update for N9005 had many issues, I removed that and installed the CM13 ROM just to find that it was not the solution for my problem. So I searched the web for almost a day and now I think that the problem is with the Modem and CM13 didn't change it.
My current Baseband version: N9005XXUGBPB1
I was going to downgrade my phone to Android Kitkat 4.4.2, hoping that would downgrade the Radio/Modem as well and fix the problem. But then I got this wise idea to ask some wise guys in this forum if this is gonna work or not?
hello there guys I'm asking about update my Samsung s5 sm-g900h I'm on KitKat
my AP :G900HXXU1ANG3
CP : G900HXXU1ANG3
CSC:900HOJV1ANG1
can i update to 6.0.1 marshmallow using this version G900HXXS1CQD1_G900HOJV1CQB1_EGY
or what version should i use
Base version : G900HXXU1ANG3
AND THANK YOU
Yes you can upgrade to 6.0.1
Most information can be found here, including official firmware.
As to what version should you use? For me, it comes down to what I want to use the phone for. I suggest trying different builds if you feel adventurous.
