do someone know why samsung removed background animation in main weather app of s8 unlike in s7 it used to have cool animation in background of main weather app like screen flashing when thunderstorm. And can i enable that in s8 weather app somehow??

Wallpaper - Weather
-When I select weather wallpaper, my home screen wallpaper has an animated weather on it. However, when I opened a certain application and go back to the home screen, the animation to the weather is stopped. It will continue to move after I locked and system and unlock it.
Widget- Weather (clock)
- The "Current location" on weather is inaccurate and missing my spot from where I am currently. Also the animation of weather in clock does not animate.
Hi! Ive been looking to get the accuweather Galaxy S5 weather widget ported to the Galaxy S7. The one on the S7 is not as accurate in my opinion; it hasnt been reporting the correct town and any of the other weather widgets I have tried do not live up to the S5 weather widget.
Anyone been able port this to S7 yet and not have it be a worthless adware version?
You can use xwidget where you can find all major weather widgets from all manufacturers
I can't help with the file you need, but try Weather Underground & its widgets. Another option is HD Widgets and you can select from 3 weather providers.

I was experimenting with build.gradle and I made a silly clock widget for my S7 edge (but i cannot show you it because of the new-users and outside links rule here).
So I was wondering if you could put the same widget or clock in the lock screen and how to do it.

if you head over to galaxy apps and download goodlock, and then in goodlock create a new routine... You'll be able to set a custom widget instead of a stock clock.

I have been using the default Samsung Clock & Weather widget for years in Nova Launcher on my Galaxy Tab S2. However, after one of the recent updates (a monyh or so ago) the widget disappeared from the screen. And it is not possible to re-add it since the built-in Weather app no longer provides that widget under Nova. The small Weather only widget is still available, but the wider Clock & Weather widget is gone.
Meanwhile, if I switch to the defualt TouchWiz launcher I can see that Weather app provides both widgets.
Apparently, it is a compatibility problem of some sort. What exactly happened here? Is there any way to restore support for Samsung Clock & Weather widget in Nova Launcher?
