Calling SM-T531 MATISSE3G owners for testing

Hey everybody,
I am seeking competent testers for a rom build for the sm-t531 matisse3g. [pac-rom]
my intention is a semi-unified build which can be run on the matissewifi as well.
System dump acquired, courtesy of @repey6 :good:
This thread will not address carrier variants.
This thread is not accepting requests or well wishes.
Please understand I appreciate both however, I would like to keep things
uncluttered and on point.

this build should be tolerable for matissewifi, need matisse3g owner to test for wifi functions, 3g is still W.I.P.
based on sm-t531 stock kernel source [official release} with prima/pronto wlan stuff added.

Okay, this is round 1, I am aware of the blink issue. - see OP

RESULT - No camera no 3g on matisse3g wifi is up ,
good for matisse wifi though [no camera], remove assert from updater-script - look it up =)
Will leave build up for play value until i have next build uploaded.

Ok, round 1 is up, see Post #2
This will run on matisse wifi as well but, I am working for matisse3g,
if you wish to run the rom on matissewifi you must remove the assert
from the updater script.
I will adjust the assert, upload the matisse-wifi3g device tree and kernel source
when this project is done.

hi, thanks, i am using my device tree configuration for matisse wifi and trying to adjust it for matisse3g.
i have been running this build on my matissewifi since i posted it.
my previous build and previous tester @mariojuniorjp confirmed the build will boot correctly, but in that initial
build i mistakenly built for a wifi only device.
is mobile data working ?

To be honest, I'm waiting for 3-4 roms to go from stok. Now I do not even root for my sm-t531

hi,
the rom version doesn't matter for the moment. Getting a functioning build from a proper device tree is the goal.
Once that is done, I post the tree and development moves foward.

How many logcats you have now?

I have not recieved any information yet as to logcats, bugs, what's working, what isn't.
I thought to take on the project to help out and to learn more about development for android but,
without useful feedback this project dies on the 11th. I have other projects on my plate.
An interesting note, the sm-t53x and the smt33x seem to be almost completely hardware identical
except for the display screen, not the egl layer stuff, i literally mean the display screen.
I flashed this same rom on my sm-t330nu and except for the display things seem to work.
even wifi seemed to be up when i ran lsmod and rfkill through adb.

Okay,
i just found the fix for the blink issue and will be running a new build.
in /system/build.prop
change ro.build.type=eng to ro.build.type=user or userdebug :silly:

okay, the logcat message Ignoring duplicate VSYNC event from HWC, as far as i can tell is just spam.
on network/communications , does the matisse3g also have wifi capacity ? i have never owned a 3g device, so i do not know.
i am attempting to find missing proprietary files, i will have another build up in a day or two.

Wi-Fi working fine. Button "back" not works.

Wifi is up = AWESOME !
3G is not = :crying:
on the back button, i will look into it.
A few questions,
Is language support present ? Russian, Ukrainian , etc ?
Does wallpaper display in Trebuchet launcher or is screen black ? If so Nova Launcher is a suitable replacement for now.

Button works after reboot.
Russian language work 80% settings. I can translate, it"s no problem.
Screen is normal. Not black.
MTP and another connection with PC not work.
I have a biggest logcat, but i can"t put them on my PC.
Restore to stok.

Is there version 14.1 for this smartphone ? i checked somewhere but im not sure about that source

Mate the rooms is quite amazing..
But there are a few bugs
Camera
And when I open the dialer it reboots
Whenever I check for lineage os update it says check internet connection

Camera , microphone, torch, my files are not working and it is not showing my contact list of my sim
Plzzz told the solution plzzz....

GoodMorning, some users has a working front cam using this ROM. I wonder how it works. I use their backup boot.IMG and flash it on my device. But still no luck.

Heya, guys!
I'm having a BIG problem.. I flashed LineageOS ROM through TWRP 3.0.2 recovery (my last ROM was on the 3.4.67 kernel) and now I lost my IMEI numbers. Could you please help me fix it? I installed all the drivers that are needed, but my PC still doesn't recognize the phone and FlashTool can't work either. I found some patches to flash through the recovery and restore it that way, but this didn't help too. I don't know what to do, because I need that phone and I can't fix it anyway. Thanks.

i registered here just to share this info that many people ain't aware of it yet.
basically LYF WIND 1 seems like a copy ported version of DEXP "lxion M LTE 5"
You can google both versions and can confirm it. It was tested on 8GB Version.

Calling function is not working for Oreo VOLTE I think , are u facing this problem as well ?

Developers Please! please! please! Help us..The rom(lineage 14.1 & resurrection 5.8.5) provided for lyf wind1(ls 5010) has so many bugs. when turning on flashlight and playing video blue screen appears like blinking and front camera and video recording is not working. Another problem is music pauses when screen goes lock. so developer please provide a stable rom. I know how to port MTK roms, but i don't know proper guide for porting SD roms. I have tried a lot but it doesn't works. so please give a stable rom or tell bug fixing guide. Another thing I request to XDA that please provide a porting guide for SD410 MSM8916 including miui porting and nougat roms.

Lyf Wind 3
Since wind 1 and wind 3 does not have very dissimilarity since then wind 1 ROMs are not working on wind 3.
Please suggest me a device that is similar to lyf wind 3.

If anyone still wants the resurrection remix rom for lyf wind 1, then i have ported and fixed a few bugs.
[Bugs fixed :]
-volte calling is working fine
-removed the annoying notification "Device is HD capable"
-fixed video recording now it works
-fixed audio codecs
[Bugs still not fixed ]
-front camera doesnt work
-calls are disabled after a boot you will have to reboot again to enable it (even soft restart works)
And i am using this rom as my daily driver everything works fine except the front camera. Its been about 1 year now since i started using this rom.
If anyone wants it then i can upload the ported ROM
Its the same version of rr rom given in the post.

Can you provide me the twrp backup file for STOCK ROM of Lyf Wind 1 5010 8GB. Can't flash stock using QFIL. COM port is not getting detected.

I am unable to make calls from my phone I am using resurrection remix Oreo after looking it shows ims not registered

If you look at the second post it's explained why. And you just answered my question. No point flashing the rom if this does not work. I want a functional phone not pieces broken.

I can see Galaxy S2 still alive and running Lineage OS 17.1 somehow someway so is it still possible to bring our device back from the dead in any way possible?

I also think that our device may have new roms but there is no developer who wants to work on it

You used Crdroid 3.8.9 for this device? Can you share more about your experience with it and answer a few questions relating to that rom forum please? Do you know any new custom roms for this device? Telegram group or something?

Crdroid is the same as linegeos14.1. rom with android 7 i recommend aosp 7.1 for the best speed

Can you post some screenshots of Crdroid please?How is the performance,ram management and battery life on this compared to the latest build of los 14.1? What extra customization does this rom have on top of los?What bugs are present? Does it support F2FS or do i have to go back to ext4?Can it be used without gapps??

I can't send screenshots because I'm not using it. And video bugs do not work or webview, as battery and ram the same thing as los14.1

For the webview to work, replace it with this one.

How did you flash the rom file tho? You check the first five check box in the wipe section then install the rom file right or am i missing something cuz while trying to flash it keeps saying file corrupted in twrp.
