Thank you for the Rom (again ^_^)
It's stable and works very well just like your other creations.
Just a very very minor minor issue I experienced.
1. One of the menu font is white font over grey background. Almost impossible to read.
pull down notification window -> pull down one more to expand -> pencil (Edit) -> 3 dots (Menu Icon) -> Reset is hard to read
2. I am big fan of cLock widget. And its weather component needs extra APK to display weather information.
When you hit find weather provider, it takes you to the Play Store but none of suggested apps won't work.
So I happened to find this article,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/widget-openweathermap-provider-t3536900
Which takes you to lineage extra page.
https://download.lineageos.org/extras
I tried all 3 weather provider apks and Open Weather and Wunderground both need login or access keys. Surprisingly Yahoo Weather Provider apk was the only one you can use without additional login so.. maybe next patch include Yahoo Weather Provide apk maybe?
Thank you for the ROM!

Awesome! Also thanked
I'm on it now, haven't found anything bug wise yet. Great rom. Also for the weather api key it's very simple to obtain and it just takes creating a free account with openweathermaps or wunderground at their website and they give you an api key copy and paste it into settings>APPS>gear icon>weather>(your weather provider)>api key
KANG ON FAM.

I flashed the older build with a virgin Mobile apn zip. He said he Incorporated it into the new build.
I opened settings/more/cellular networks/apn and selected virgin mobile. Hit back till I saw carrier settings, tapped it (crashed phone app, as it should) then got LTE

APN = x.boost.ispsn
Apntype="default,supl,mms,dun,fota,cbs,ia,wifi"
protocol="IPV4V6"
roaming_protocol="IPV4V6"
mmsc="http://mm.myboostmobile.com"
mmsproxy="oap7.sprintpcs.com"

A new ROM for Surnia. That's great, I'm downloading and I will test it. Good job
Tested the ROM just now, layer is working great, no white to white text, no black to black text (so far), xposed worked as it should be. Are you going to add slim recent on the next following builds?
Thanks for the review

Currently I am just focussing on fixing LTE issue on the Sprint variant (XT1526). If you have noticed, there is no camera, browser etc in this build. I will add those too and will see whether this rom can adapt to slim recent.

I didn't notice them actually, :laugh: it okay to me if it wouldn't be added to the ROM for now, take ur time bro, the good thing is surnia now have 2 stable ROM w/ layer support :good:
This ROM it's like a SlimROM with the camera gesture and the slim layer feature. Amazing, thanks for your work! Working flawlessly on a XT1527! and keep it working
Downloaded chrome from play store, installed aosp messaging, moto camera and gallery from stock 5.1 and so far I can't find any faults ... Default CDMA is showing Boost and LTE is a go.

I suppose LTE problem is only with the sprint version. The main cause of the problem is the use of proprietary RIL blobs which is compatible to only few variants. Yesterday, I did a series of tests on my device by making different changes to RIL blobs.
First, I switched proprietary RIL blobs from current one to sprint specific one. I lost my network after doing this change. This made me realise the problem that occurs from these proprietary blobs.
Then, I removed the proprietary ones and switched to CAF. I noticed that after making that change, I lost the entire data connectivity and got lots of error messages on debug.
I saw Seraph08 changes here https://github.com/Seraph08/android...mmit/884cd57eb79f81f3a4094b1c5566c5063f0e2e0f and I have added those changes in my build. I am yet to test these changes.
I have two ideas for fixing the sprint variant:
1. Work on CAF and fix the problem by making custom RIL class (is this necessary? )
2. Make an entry in the releasetools to build separate the variants's proprietary
@openhacker on seraph08's pa build there is no LTE (CDMA)at all and the network is registered as "000000" ... Just a heads up before you fork those commits.

I have a silly question: Can you send a Logcat when you register network to your mobile network? I mean, go to Mobile Networks, then to network operator, register your service provide and logcat all that process? It could have some information about this issue, i don't know really, but it's just a test
Anybody else having the problem of no quick settings tiles at all? If I slide down twice (notifications, quick settings), it stays on notifications like quick settings doesn't exist
Thanks.
Works real well on my 1526

Not yet. Main functionality seems to all be there though. There are some bugs here n there, but mostly feature related. They're all being worked on
Only few minor visual bugs I've seen so far. It's damn nice for a beta. Hell, it's damn nice for a daily driver

Great work, rock on with squashing the rest of the bugs!!!
Are external SD cards working in this? In CM 13.0, normal applications can't see or access the external SD, only the system can see it. So file explorers, music apps, backup apps etc are currently limited to internal storage.

I'm running Candy6 on an AT&T device and when I select file transfer on USB options the device drivers fail to install (on Windows). Does anyone know how to fix this or where to get new MTP drivers? MTP File Transfer worked fine before the upgrade from Candy5 to Candy6.
I am having an issue on ATT. If I am on LTE all incoming calls go straight to voicemail. Is anyone else having this issue?
How about the alarm widget / clock issue? Is that still not working properly ? Thanks

This seems to be a common issue with 6.0. Check the CM13.0 thread for the M9. Others are discussing it/working to find a solution as well.
In regard to the SD Mount problem. Marshmallow seems to mount it at a different path than before and that seems to be why only system apps can see it. Does that sound right?

I think its something u can change in build.prop - and if it works I'll fix in ROM.
Try changing:
"ro.telephony.default_network=9"
to
"ro.telephony.default_network=8"
Reboot. And let me know if that fixes it please.
Can someone on GSM (who is not AT&T) try that same thing and tell me if your incoming/outgoing calls still work as expected please?
Just wanna make sure I don't break one to fix another

Confirmed.. On Tmobile with that change incoming and outgoing calls work fine.
If anyone on CandySiX is experiencing lag, download kernel auditor and go to "thermal" and toggle off 'core control'.

My friend has compiled a MIUI8 when Xiaomi released the source code of MIUI8, he repaired very few bugs and test it in falcon_cdma
RIL worked fine, but he thought MIUI8 is too stunky for a phone with 1G ram, so he stopped developing on it
After I requested again and again he finally found the rom file in his old drive and shared his MIUI8 with me
I tested it
RIL works perfect, then I got confused and asked him:“Why your MIUI is working with CDMA?"
He said some changes to the ROM will fix CDMA issues, but I don't understood what he was talking about (I'm not a developer)
I was very exited about finding your MIUI8 and flashed it as soon as I can, then, you know
I don't think your MIUI8 is really uncompatible with CDMA, I believe you just need some changes, mabey you can learn the trick from his Flyme5

It is the 336mb size file. The other one on top is for a different device called "hydrogen". If you are looking for a custom rom for HTC One m7 allways search for "m7" in the name of the rom file.
Please, can make version for Sprint?

I think there is reboot problem in some M7 devices in LineageOS, did your rom have this issue?

Lol, you link your own posts as reference... I also used all those roms and other N Roms for m7 and never had any reboot problems. Maybe you do something wrong while flashing or your battery has reach the end of live or some other hardware problem. To be sure that its not hardware related you should use the stock rom without any extra kernel or changes like xposed and so on for a few days and see if it works or also reboot. If thats no problem i´m sure there is something wrong in the way you flash or use the N roms.

Thanks for making your work available!
Sorry, but I'm a little confused. If Magisk is not supported, how is root access (superuser) achieved?

If someone knows how to make Google Phone VVM working please share.
SIM not recognized here, tried flashing twice, same result both times. Anything I could try?
I will say, this ROM boots ridiculously fast and is ridiculously fast when up and running.
edit: re-downloded the ROM zip just in case it may have been a botched download, did not resolve.

Try looking for the APN settings for your provider, you can add the network manually if it's not being auto-detected. Your provider isn't listed on your XDA profile.
If it works when you add it manually then let the dev know the provider and settings and they can add it to the rom so it works automatically.

Unfortunately, this did not work. I had to do it manually too. The Mobile Network button is greyed out, so I went to the system app APN Editor through a third party app, and it says "Access Point Name settings are not available to this user". Working with the dev to try and figure it out.

FP is perfect no flicker.
2 options for refresh rate. Automatic change between 60 and 90. And second option force 90. Bith works perfectly
Couple of bugs I noticed:
Brightness shows 0% for a while after boot even when the brightness is changed
The numberpad for pin entry is too low, the 0 overlaps the fingerprint reader. (Can just about tap on 0 if you tap under the FP)
TWRP isn't allowing decryption with the pin entered in this rom, had to use "fastboot -w" to wipe storage. (Using TWRP 3.4.0-0)
I assume we have no face unlock on this now too?
