Hey Guys, can someone tell me what Magisk version works and does not result in a bootloop or has other negative effects? The last time I used Magisk I had problems with 15.x, are all issues are now fixed or are there still some remaining?

I am using v15. 3 without any problems..
Magisk hide is having some problem with fingerprint recognition.. Some times when magisk hide is on finger print wont work. Its a problem with all the magisk versions i tried . So i turned it off.
Latest version works for me, although it doesn't pass the Safety net checks. Therefore some finance programs may not work, but root and modules work fine.

Hey I installed the RROS ROM and everything works fine except one thing.I cant find the fingerprint option on setting menu to set up the fingerprint scanner.
Any ideas how to fix it?
Did you remove fingerprints before you flashed rros

The Latest Magisk Does Not Work Good With RROS Or Other Roms, Magisk 14.0 Wil Work On Fingerprint,
The latest magisk will not allow you to use Fingerprint or add password.
But magisk 14.0 allows that

16.7 works PERFECTLY on mine. You really need to stop assuming things don't work for everyone just because you have an issue

I Mean Like Putting A Password or fingerprint with like the latest magisk
When i downgraded to magisk 14.0, fingerprint and passcode started working

Nice to see. Will try this version. I have same problem. For me no version higher than 14 worked. Tried nearly every version and I already asked in Magisk and RROS threads but ... anyway.

EDIT: As I expected, it didn't work. Also with 16.7 beta no fingerprint sensor - and I don't know why. Only Magisk14 is working. Already tried clean flash.

Need help here. My phone currently Xioami mi6 with MIUI 9 Oreo. The Phone already bootloader unlocked and root using magisk.
the problem is there 1 apps called "Mandiri Online" its a banking apps that not working with magisk hide.
It used to work untill fews days ago.
I already try check with rootchecker, the magiskhide its working and there is 2 another apps that not worked with root phone still working. only that apps " Mandiri Online" that not work.
Anyone can help ?

If you're on stable branch of magisk try to use the beta version.
Don't forget to do all necessary backups

Hi. Recently my safteynet started failing. I don't remeber exactly what modifcations I did at the time to cause it. I flashed the latest OOS from OnePlus so I would have no root or mods, and safteynet continues to report failed.
I really don't feel like wiping my data. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The mods I have installed at some point via magisk are, edxposed, riru, and viper audio effects.

The safetynet fail during no root time is likely because of the still unlocked bootloader. Edxposed does no longer pass safetynet. Im currently running OOS 10.3.1 with magisk while passing safetynet

Update. the SafteyPatcher above did not work. I am trying MagiskHidePropsConfig now, however I am failing BasicIntegrity and CTS, which I believe means theres probably something else going on. Not really sure what to do.

What did you do to make it pass? I already included GSF and Play Services from the blacklist.
All my problems resolved when i uninstall Magisk, and return to PIE....
is the manager hidden and play services in the hide list (should be by default)
also check that avb and preserve encryption are ticked on the front page. Normally these should allow you to pass.
If you are still failing then there is probably some mod/previous installation of root apps on the phone causing this to trip snet.

I have a rooted Poco F2 with magisk 21.2 and TWRP on stock MIUI rom 12.0.4.
I had passed SafetyNet by hiding magisk manager and enabling the magisk hide props module but literally one morning I woke up with a message from Google Pay saying the phone can't be used for transactions.
I checked SafetyNet again and it indeed failed. BasicIntegrity passed and evalType was set to BASIC but ctsProfile failed.
Since I've been trying to fix it by formatting the phone entirely, flashing the stock rom from scratch and re-applying everything but i still get the same issue. I've also tried several different fingerprints from the props module but ctsProfile check always fails.
Does anyone have any clue what might've happened? I didn't mess with any setting or allow any automatic updates when i got the fail message from Google Pay.

Riru core magisk module is causing random soft reboots in my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite (running Android 10). Can anyone help regarding this issue?
I have tried both EDxposed and LSposed. Whenever I only tick the Riru core within magisk app then soft reboots occur randomly.
The developer of Riru said that it might be a Samsung's Kernel problem.
Does this issue occur in all the Samsung phones? Or a few phones face this issue?
Can this problem be solved if I upgrade to Amdroid 11?
I use riru core with no problems with android 11, so I guess that updating to android 11 will solve that problem

No, the problem is the "Riru" magisk module. Whenever I turn this module on, random reboots occur. Even if the LSposed is turned off in Magisk, then also I face the problem.

How did you flash the boot.img after patching it with the Magisk original apk? For me it didn't get flashed. I had to patch it using canary version of Magisk before flashing the boot.img file.
And how long could you use Riru Core without facing the reboot problem? At first you said that the reboot problem wasn't there for you.
I am getting crazy to solve this problem. As I will not be able to use GravityBox without Riru.

I used Odin, And I had no problem flashing it.
I started having this problem one month ago, at first I had no problem with it.
It happens to me twice or 3 times a day. And it's pretty annoying.
I use Riru for LSposed disabling flag secure and Xprivacy Lua. I'm experiencing this issues with the module of LSposed disabled, so yeah, it must be Riru core

The day before yesterday I flashed United Kingdom (BTU) version of firmware and rooted it by magisk canary version. Till now no reboot issue. May the Almighty make this work. You can try this.
It happened again. No hope for now.
