As you can see in the title i am waiting for an update from spice for kitkat.
Don't tell me it doesn't support kitkat as in it's specifications i saw.
I have rooted it and now finding a custom rom for it so that i can update it.
Is there any custom rom for spice mi 506?
Can i install google camera in it?

• Works on phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat
not sure about reasons in case it conflict with new custom roms. but mostly apk's work fine with Stable versions of custom roms.

Instructions
Some common instructions for flashing ROM
1. Boot into Recovery (TWRP/Philz) mode by Pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Key at same time
2. Wipe Data
3. Wipe Cache
4. Format System from Advance menu
5. Now Select ROM zip file from SD card
6. Select YES and follow on screen steps.
Done.
Now Reboot your phone and wait few minutes.

I've tried CWM Recovery but language is the main problem I don't know what to do in there..
we can only guess SD card and things written there but where's factory reset?

According to the uploader, extract rar file and flash "ROM.zip" from stock recovery
You are all put the cwm of Huawei honor holly buy it is in korian language I cannot able to under stand anybody put cwm in English and put video of how to use cwm in Huawei honor holly....

After root, replaced to Chainfire SuperSU & moved to system. Xposed with GravityBox(KK), XHaloFloatingWindow, Xposed GEL settings, Forced Translucent Kitkat, YouTube AdAway etc all working fine.
DONOT try boot animation as bootloader is still locked.

i was messing with sptool and i just bricked my honor holly,
i think i wiped the whole partition table and system
please can any body provide firmware file to flash through sptool
i know i am messed up.
By the way cwm is in english and before bricking i flashed it via mobile uncle tool and was working but was unable to mount mass storage

I have the backup of whole frimware but i cant upload because the size is 2.2GB and my upload speed is 25KBps
did u backup with cwm recovery
just checked with sptool memory test it shows ERROR: NAND Flash was not detected!

I need to Flash my phone to stock rom and stock recovery ( i've installed this CWM recovery but it's all in Indochinese still helped Thanks )
but I need to get back to my Stock recovery and Rom
I've tried to install Xperia Camera zip through CMW but really got worse , camera works fine still but video is not playing on youtube or any other app than web browsers
and I can't record video too ..
So I really badly need to flash the rom , I've downloaded the rom it's about 650 MB .. How can I flash it ? how to flash it?

Just updating: this also works on Blu Studio M HD thats the same phone, only rebranded from P5w! Also all stock and custom roms that works for Gionee P5W works on Blu Studio M HD!

To install it you have to unlock bootloader via fastboot ( google it)

You try to root the Android 6 by using the king root if you succeed in rooting then you can just use the flashify and flash the TWRP recovery into a phone but if you are unsuccessful then downgrade your phone by using the Android 5.1 firmware file and then root the phone and use the same method to flash TWRP recovery.
Rooting process is very much complex in Android Marshmallow but the success rate of rooting the phone in the Android lollipop is much much much higher

MY MOBILE MODEL IS GIONEE P5W I AM ROOT THe PHONE BY MIRACAL BOX. And try to flash recovery.img with scnar file.txt by sp tool, miracal box and nck box but phone is not enter the recovery mode . screen billing 2 time and on normally. I use flashfy and rashr but same problem.

perhaps the version of your firmware is different from the firmware version for which was created TWRP...
perhaps your phone is on a mt6735 chip...
