I was so close to factory reset my ze552kl for the sake of quick tiles theming (how ridiculous is that?). I'd like to get darker quick tiles but mine remained white after applying any themes). Then I did the following as my last attempt to keep me from resetting my phone. I choose two themes as examples, you may choose whatever you want but these two certainly theme your quick setting. Those two are 'light speed' which will bring you dark themes and 'travel diary' which has brighter nuance than the first mentioned.
1. Download the themes
2. Select one of those two
3. Select 'customize' and select 'lock screen wallpaper' (let the others uncheck)
4. Once again open theme, Select 'wallpaper', let the others uncheck (this process might be skippable it's up to you to skip but I wouldn't know the result).
5. Open theme for the last time, select 'Apply All'
6. Hope it works for you

Unconventional battery morph, turns current battery into a heart, charging battery into a pumping heart. Right now will probably only look descent on light colored bars. Future versions will include a version for dark bars, as well as a possible size adjustment (currently, icon seems a bit big to me, but need to let me battery run down to see the full effect...)
This probably wont work with the percentage overlays, as the icons are pretty complex, and dont really facilitate great legibility of the percentages. But one can only do so many circle and square batteries, so I'm branching out to do other ideas and shapes.
Standard disclaimer: Do a nandroid BU before you flash this. I have no idea whats on your system, or what may cause it to break, therefore you flash this at your own risk, as with pretty much every morph.
If you are experiencing issues with metamorph hanging while trying to install, make sure you have usb debugging turned on in your system settings. yes, you really need to do this. go to settings-->applications-->development-->make sure usb debugging is checked!
If that doesnt work check this list made by morpher Formel-LMS. Must be that German efficiency...
1. Have you downloaded the correct files for your ROM?
2. Have you debugging enabled in the Android Menu?
3. Install "Titanium Backup" start it and hit the "Problems?" Button, then it installs a correct busybox version. This is required!!!
4. In Metamorph, press Menu, play with the applying speed. Choose a speed above 4200!
5. Never check the "Disable startup checks" in Metamorphs settings
6. Never, never, never rename the zipfile. If you do this, you'll get error messages like "Theme Control File Missing"

=====================update 8-26-10============
Version 2.0 is up and is almost a complete revamp. Includes new color that n longer changes, so it should be fine for both dark and light colored bars. Also now as the battery drains the heart gets smaller instead of being hollowed out like v1.0.
saved for possible future post

Looks a bit big to me. Also i think im going to change it so that it gets smaller in size as it drains instead of just getting "hollowed out." New version coming later today...
New version 2.0 is now up.
***AS THIS THEME IS OUT DATED AND MAY NOT WORK ON THE LATEST ROMS FOR FROYO, I HAVE REMOVED ALL OF THE DOWNLOAD LINKS***
So this is my first attempt at making a theme. Its really just the stock theme but with the colors changed to greys and blacks. After several different approaches to this and several attempts (for me this is really version 5ish because I am new to this). I finally have something I'm proud enough to release.
I am personally running Gummycharge 1.8.1 ROM by kejar31 and PeanutButta Jelly Time Kernel by imnuts, so I know this theme works with those.
To Come
- Remove Location Icon
- More battery icons
Themed:
Framework-res.apk
twframework-res.apk
dialertabactivity.apk
mms.apk
contacts.apk
Updates:
- (6/28/11) I've now got 8 different battery icon sets up and running on v1.2.1. See the images below and the download links for them.
- (6/27/11) Well like I said, I'd be working on some new battery icons and I've got 2 up and running. I have two new versions out, the first is the same icon as before, but now it shows the battery percent while charging (Battery 1). The second is the Gingerbread battery I believe (Battery 2). Both of these were made using UOT Kitchen which makes it really easy to do these, so I'll have a few more out later. See images below of battery icons.
- (6/27/11) Found some more images I wanted to edit to clean things up a bit. v1.1.1 and v1.2.1 both have these updates. v1.2.1 also has syaoran12's updated reboot options which hopefully remove some of the bugs that I saw. Namely, occasionally the battery would indicated the wrong charge, or just show the wrong image period.
- (6/27/11) Added install instructions to OP
- (6/26/11) Some new screenshots are up.
- (6/26/11) Just in case people try out the reboot options mod and do not like it or want to go back for whatever reason, I have also included a patch for reinstalling the original android.policy.jar and framework.jar. You will need to clear cache and dalvik, install that zip, then install whatever theme you want.
- (6/26/11) I implemented syaoran12's reboot options to the phone options dialogue in v1.2. I think his changes were fantastic, I had been hoping someone would release that option, so all credit goes to him for that one. You can see the original post herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1137341&highlight=power+options
- (6/26/11) I noticed that I didn't change the color of the wifi on in the dropdown menu, so that is fixed in v1.1. I also changed the popup windows to grey from the orange that they were.

I am running your theme now and flash went ok. I am on kejar31 gummy charge v1. 8. 1 Rom and kernel. I recommend you update the OP to indicate that this is flashed via CWR & some basic instructions would help the newbies that want to try (I am using the most recent update of CWR posted on kejar's gummy charge thread). so far this running great on my phone. looks awesome! has great contrast in all menues and selections. I would recommend losing the location indicator on the status bar most custom ROM users ask for that to be removed, you might consider a mod to add it back if there's some folks that want it.
Keep up the good work this is staying on my phone for a long time.

I'm glad you like it Blanco954. I updated the OP with installation instructions. I will look into removing the location icon from the status bar, shouldn't take too long I don't think. I am also going to make a few different varieties with different battery icons, since people seem to like options for that.
You knocked it off the park with your detailed instructions. A lot of folks will appreciate the time and effort. I haven't found any bugs so no news is good news. Excellent job on your first release I look forward to some more themes and updates from your kitchen.

I haven't yet figured out removing the location icon. I don't just want to make it a blank image, I want to actually remove it, so it takes a little more effort than originally planned. I have, however, made a few modifications to some more images that I found that I wanted to change. I also have 2 new sets of battery icons up. **UPDATE** Make that 8 sets of battery icons

WOOHOO!!!!!!
So after a few hours on this GB release, I really don't like the look of it. I very much preferred the look of the froyo theme that came with the phone, not to mention the grainy text (I know this will be fixed eventually, but for now it looks bad). I originally had planned on sticking with it and theming it, but really its just not worth it right now. I'm not satisfied with this leaked build, I'm going back to froyo until something more developed comes along. Sorry to leave anybody hanging.
This theme boot looped me (GummyCharged_GBE_1.8) ...off to odin.

Can i flash the android battery icon for the notification bar and flash it in CWM? i am currently on Humble 1.42 pbj kernel. thank you
Emerald Launcher is a simple home screen for Android phones. It is based on TinyLaunch code with lots of improvements and is in beta stage. It provides some features to make it easy and nice to use. You can resize layout as you wish, apply icon packs, easily access apps via search or sort them by categories.
Download from Google Play
Source code on GitHub
Any help is appreciated. Please feel free to post suggestions or report found bugs here. Thanks.
Surprising not to see comments here. Just found it on F-Droid and think this is a fantastic launcher implementation. No unnecessary permissions, no ads, no statistics or analytics, good customization, fast.
Thank you so much for developing this. Still playing with it and personalizing. ( Came from using KISS launcher for quite a while. )
I was wondering if it would be possible to change a single application's icon ( or all of them but without installing an icon pack ) and found a workaround...
PNG files generated in Emerald's cache folder at /data/data etc can be replaced, one by one or all of them. No need for icon packs. In case this is useful to anybody.
( ^_^)
Hello,
i also would like to thank the developer for this nice launcher. I tried it and found it great, but...
i'd like to have the ability to search contacts and settings and not only apps as Emerald does. Is it possible to add this feature as well as widget support?

Not to sound rude, but the lack of those features is a huge plus for me. Plenty of other launchers are loaded with functions such as those. Try KISS or OpenLauncher for instance, just to mention two out of dozens.
Hello.
Thank you everyone for the support and sorry for the late reply. @Ultramanoid, I came from KISS myself. It is fine, but lacks some features such as folders and grid layout, that's why I've forked TinyLaunch and started to modify it.

I'm going to add support for shortcuts, so it'll be possible to search through contacts if you add them on the homescreen. About settings... I think that settings search is unnecessary, because it won't speed up toggling much. Widgets are most likely not to be implemented. You can use EcoHome as a separate screen for widgets, it's very lightweight.
I'm looking for help with testing alpha versions of Emerald. If you want to help, please e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll send you the latest apk with instructions. I have to mention that test apks won't include features for Nougat and Oreo, so if you use these OS versions, please be ready to some bugs and make a backup of preferences. Thanks.
Might want to updated the link so it's not the description (should be this): Download From Play Store
Very nice launcher. I'm using on Nougat on a very special kind of phone (F25). I'm having a problem with an icon pack though. It just contains 2 icons but doesn't get applied in any way.
Okay but.....
Just gave it a quick try and here are my results
1 - adding to the dock, on my phone the home/back/recents button gets in the way. Seems to fix it if I turn the phone landscape and then back. But then it comes back as soon as I touch the menu on the top left - see screen shot.
2 - no shortcuts or 1x1 widgets - not sure how basic you want the launcher to be.
3 - on my phone I prefer to be able to move the things. like your search bar, etc. My phone is an HTC M8, anything that requires 2 hands to do (or reaching to the top of the screen) is annoying.
4 - since you only have 1 screen, maybe making gesters do something - like making swiping on any part of the screen switch categories (instead of the top of the screen).
5- Maybe allow changing the size of the text for the apps on the screen.
6 - If you set to just text, the dock has all little green android
might be more, but not ready for prime time, good luck.
-brad
Hello, @bradley_e_smith. Thank you for the review.
1. This issue was discovered already, but I can't reproduce it, because there is no phone with on-screen buttons to test it.
2. Shortcuts are planned and widgets are not.
3. I've updated the app recently. Now it's possible to move the main bar and apps to the bottom.
4. Yes, I'll probably add gestures soon.
5. The text size can be changed through appearance settings.
6. It's a known issue. I don't know what could be the best option to show. There are three possible options:
- always keep dock icons in cache;
- show text labels in dock.

Hello,
This icon pack is working with Lawnchair launcher at least. I have not tried on other launchers. It's listed in Emerald Launcher settings.
HI, wihile I'm able to initially apply a theme, I'm confused about the many choices in the paintbrush menu when I want to change an individual theme setting (eg. accent colour).
Firstly before everything refreshes the change takes a very long. to apply
Secondly the changed value not always appears in the UI, coz I'm not quite sure if using right action.
Build & enable, Build & update, Change overlay, what are exact differences between these?
I see that if I choose build & choose, the change is more like to apply, but Substratum creates a new element beside the old, and I want to replace the previous.
Also I would expect some kind of preview before applying the customized item. As I wrote, the change takes long to apply to UI, and from the menu it's not always clear how it will look.
I need some more insight how things do work. Is there a comprehensive tutorial for using Substratum?
This theme is a very simple customization of "OxygenOS Always On Display" but i think many of you will like it
THIS THEME WILL NOT ENABLE AOD (ALWAYS ON DISPLAY)
Features
- Colorize or hide the Ten Digit/Digit/Percentage with Digit Customizer
- Colorize or hide the Date/Owner Text with Text Customizer
- Colorize or hide the Battery with Battery Customizer
-- Set some transparency to make the AOD more "ambient"
- Modify the LiftUp Time, Notification Time and hide the Analog Clock Background with Modifier
Pro/Con
+ This doesn't harm the Notification Popup, it's still at max brightness
- The notification icons are not customizable atm. If someone knows how i'd be happy to hear
Howto
You have to install Substratum first to apply the theme and reboot after applying any change
Compatibility
Compatible with any OnePlus Device running 8.1 and 9.0

Instructions
To explanation: AOD is a background process and enabled substratum themes only apply when the process starts "fresh".
So if it doesn't apply for you, be sure to follow these steps
- Select your colors (the OPAod title becomes pink)
- Reboot your Device
- Go to theme manager (the OPAod title is yellow)
- Enable it (the OPAod becomes green)
- Reboot or force close the aod process
- Done
Thanks for your efforts and work of bringing a theme to customize Ambient display/AOD.

Howto
You have to install Substratum first to apply the theme and reboot after applying any change
Compatibility
My Device is a 5T but it should be compatible with any OnePlus Device running 8.1

Is there a need for colorizing the analog clock? If yes, it will be another Theme too...uh....

That looks really nice ?
Have you noticed significant battery drain? Other AODs usually drain about 3-5% per hour.
Thanks for sharing!
Works great on my OP5T. Great Job.
I'd love to be able to color the other elements like date/batt/slogan.
Works fine on op5t OB13. Would love to see default bright red option for other time digits too

We are currently working on that.
It doesn't work for me I'm running on open beta 14 and I have my device rooted with aod magisk module..I tried to apply the theme and enable it after reboot...nothing happens after then!
Same here with ob13, aod or lift up same thing, nothing changes whatever I choose
Working brilliant with Open beta 14 and no limits 3.1.

FYI: I'm going to release some new colors and maybe some additions soon
