Hello .. I need some clarifications: I have a Chinese tablet rockchip 3126 mod.791 rk312x. The original software does not have root .. but if I do the analysis there are traces of root and root files. Some apps recognize it as root. I would like to know if doing a root device and then removing it I can bring back the tablet as if no root has ever been done .. or if there are no solutions. Thank you

Hello,
I have an LG G3 rooted with towelroot downloaded titanium backup with pro key, nandroid as well as nandroid online... And all my backups so far get saved to my phone memory... /mnt/sd... However i need the path to be going to my sd card witch is /storage/external_SD. When i try to change path nandroid tells me i have to use twrp or clockworkmod folder and will not let me change file path... Titanium backup saves to same sd folder but that is my phone memory... Im not very knowledgeable so please be as basic as possible. Thank you
Hi!
As towelroot is not a full root, write protection is likely still enabled on the device, it has limitations and some things simply don't work. Here is a thread on towelroot in your device section.... You can ask the members there for help....
LG G3G3 Themes and Appstowelroot - untethered root - confirmed working
Good luck!

As I've said, asking the people with the experience on your device in the link I have gave you would probably help. ?
Okay so I've had this phone for little over 10 months now and within that time I've managed to achieve root (unreliable but it works at the very least) in that time as well as learned a fair amount about Linux and android alike (Not a whole lot but I know some stuff) though I've now come to the point of I actually want to give my phone a proper root instead of this faulty solution I have currently. I (barely) managed to get my phone rooted using Kingoroot and I've played plenty with my phones' innards in that time, removed system apps, added my own selection to the system but some apps in my phone that use root don't work even with root permission granted which is why I'm wanting to replace Kingoroot with ChainFires' SuperSU binaries, could anybody help me with simple instructions for someone who doesn't actually know very much regarding how root and SU bins work inside of android? My phone's using 4.4.2 kitkat.
Just a few disclaimers first to get misconceptions out the way:
1. I do not have a custom recovery nor is one available for my phone (Samsung galaxy young 2 (SM-S130H) for those who want to know)
2. I'm currently unable to use the internet on my phone as I lack Wi-Fi to do so (router is dead) so I'm manually installing app packages through ADB, so if something needs an internet connection on my phone it's not going to work for me, for now..PC still has net access.
3. I have access to ADB shells' SU but not ADB root so I hope you don't need that from me.
4. This phone does not have a fastboot mode. (That I can find anyway..) Only a download mode from what I've found.
Can anybody help me out with telling me what I'll need to be doing in regards to getting this done?

Hi,
I have an HTC Desire 10 Pro device and I want to root it.
KingoRoot and some others one-click root progs failed so I try to root it via twrp recovery.
I connect my device to my pc and use adb/fastboot.
I flash this recovery file "twrp-3.1.1-0-a56dj_pro_dugl".
Then download the supersu.zip and saved in the internal storage (don't have an extra sd card).
I reboot the device in recovery and there is the problem.
If I try to choose storage all of the available storages is 0mb ... and I cannot choose any.
So I cannot find the superSU.zip file to install it :/
Is anything I can do for this?
Thank you in advance!!!!

I don't have this device but, there's a number of threads within the forum that are very helpful for this specific device. Keep in mind that, since there's no "Desire 10 Pro" area within the forum, the "Desire 10" area can be very helpful too since there's also posts and threads for the Pro version.
With that stated...
One or more of the following threads may have what you're looking for and you may be able to obtain some additional guidance from a member there too.

How do you root it. I've tried king root, kingo root, and others. without success.
I'd like to root it so I can recover all my data from my old tablet saved with Titanium.
thanks

None of them worked
None of the procedures worked.
depending on the version of odin it was looking for one file or more files yet the twrp was a single *.img file.
there was no *.obs file or anything it wanted.
I have a Viewsonic NMP-302w with a custom rom on it, I would like to replace it with something more functional that can load apps like YouTube etc. I can connect to the device via ADB but I am unable to see anything on the display when I reboot in recovery mode or boot selector option. Any help would be appreciated.
