Hello guys,
I am using a Moto XT1068 which is G 2nd Generation ( Titan). I rooted the phone a year ago and flashed Lineage OS for Android 7.1 using TWRP. I was quite satisfied with ROM. Recently I thought of trying something new.
So I downloaded two files: Lineage OS for Android 8.0 and RR OS for 7.1. I also downloaded the lastest ARC 8.0 pico GApps for my phone. But when I flash both the files I get an error which says,' Updater process ended with error:20'
'Error installing zip file' whose screenshot I have attached with the question. Please help me out with the issue guys. Tell me a solution by which I can use and enjoy any of the two files.
Thanking you in advance,
Krish

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device.

Good Luck!

A friend gave me a zip file written by one of your members (Note 4ScreenOffMemo_v1.3) which is supposed to give the opportunity to the Samsung Note 4 owners (not rooted) to open a memo on the switched off screen by pulling the stylus out. This function is apparently working on the new Samsung Note 5.
I have the zip file but do not know how to make it work on the Note 4 as its extension is not "apk".
Could somebody help me ?
Best regards

Hi,
If that zip is generic or made for your device then you can flash it using custom recovery.
For further questions, you can ask here http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help
Good luck.
Hi
I recently unrooted my Galaxy Tab 2 with an official Samsung 4.0.2 ROM.
I'm quite happy with the ROM, and have noticed that when I connect the Tablet to my PC and start up Kies, I receive an Update request.

What do these mean?

If this is an update from Android 4.0.2 to 4.2.2, how do I get around it?
I've read about other guys with the 4.2.2 update for this tablet, and they say it is very slow. I do not want this update.
Hi there,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Yes this is an update for Android 4.2.2. If you do not want it, click on Cancel
Thanks, is there anyway to speed up the tablet without rooting it again?
Or do you know of a Rom that is better and faster than the cygenmod?

1. Nothing AFAIK except reducing the animations/transitions in the developer options.
2. Yes of course but I can only suggest you to have a look at the Development forums of your device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/10-inch-development (SlimLP, Candy and OmniROM should work fine).
Thanks, but which one wouldn't reccommend will run the quickest and smoothest ?

idk since I don't have the same device. You can ask in the Q&A forum though: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/help
Other users will probaly tell you that you have to flash all roms to make your own opinion.

Better to keep the same topic within one thread instead of splitting messages about the same topic off.
Too bad that Moto can't keep a word of what they told us before!!!
They are bunch of LIARS!!! Period!!!
Everyone here that has a G4 should question Moto about this!!!

I corrected your link to your IMG in the quoted text above this reply. The corrected format is how you post links on this site. Here is how it is done, to see the correct format, quote this post I've made, when you have the window to type your reply, find the option to edit my post that you quoted and you'll see the correct format for posting hidden links, pay close attention to where the punctuation and the brackets are placed.
"The error"
