hi i have a rooted MOTO G which has a broken screen replaced and the proximity sensor is on 3 and the screen goes black when calling so cannot use keypad for options etc. Have looked at the HTC Desire hread and tried the line of code but it did not work. can anyone help as i like the phone but this issue is making it virtually unusable as a phone

Do you have gravitybox working in full?? I mean, the most of the features?
Well, as you said, most of the functions work. Being on stock 21s, means that the 6.0.1 is heavily modified by LeEco and gravitybox is operational (I guess fully) on AOSP ROMs, that's why you won't have all features working. I use hardware keys mod like double tap on home button - previous app, reorient vol keys when landscape, fingerprint launcher is working, some more but I don't use due to the fear of conflict with other things.
As an example I am missing the ambient display from CM13 and I searched for something similar. Almost impossible to find something. Finally I installed ScreenWakeUp from play store and I have my screen woken up whenever I wave or take the phone out of the pocket. Tried some other apps but they have bugs on EUI.
Actually i ised gravity for the touch buttons function for double tap and long press, but as you said there are many conflicts and the most of the things dont make any work.

I have a XZ with Oreo 8.0 and I have problems with the proximity sensor. It stays at ON state, but with value 0.
Just pressing with the finger in the right top of the phone, works fine to its value of 5.
Is rooted, tried Xposed but Xposed framework gave me trouble to install, with looping when resetting. I tried hardware disabler but can´t find the driver. I tried other severall apps but nothing work.
Any help on this? maybe change calibration value from ADB o Terminal app.

I'm currently running tuga power Android pie and trying to enable daydream through magisk with pixelify and daydream enabler modules. None of them worked so far. Either the app crashes when starting the VR or it says incompatible phone. I would greatly appreciate any help.:good:

as everyone knows our phone using fingerprint sensor in power button and there are so many custom roms out there that still doesn't support fingerprint behavior option and same as me you might have unlocked your phone so many times by touching fingerprint.
is it possible to make a magisk module that disables wake-and-unlock?
