Can't remember the exact apps that were there.. There were a bunch of games and a few apps.. All of them could be uninstalled..
Only apps that can't be uninstalled but can be disabled:
Honor (links to their webstore)
Honor health
HiCare (their warranty app)
Notepad
Videos
Themes
Can't be uninstalled or disabled:
Phone manager

If it do not function for anything, at least not consume RAM.
Not the Webview if you use GApps such as Play Store, etc, Facebook yes if unused
Disappointed in Sony for including com.facebook.appmanager and com.facebook.system as uninstallable components. My Z5 came with the Facebook app already installed (Customized DE firmware). I never even ran the app (I don't do facebook) - uninstalled it the second I spotted it but these two processes remain and can only be disabled, not uninstalled.
Feck off Facebook!
I deleted webview once on my old Z1, system became unresponsive.

Tks !!!
I keep a real clean phone. I don't use FB either and have it disabled. But I discovered this file or application and as fast as I would shut down and delete cache and data it would reload itself. This action alone made me suspicious of it and I wanted it off my phone or at the very least disabled. On another forum it was recommended to install "Package Disabler Pro" at a cost of $.99 and I tried it. In the notes and warnings you have to use this carefully least you make the phone unusable but I "disable" these two persistant "Facebook" files and they have not come back. My phone works fine too. Then I went after the damn Sprint/Samsung installed voicemail program that keeps wanting you to upgrade and then it had a persistant flag that kept coming up saying "We had forced upgrades too but this one is necessary". I said no to that too and with this program finally have turned it OFF.
Hope this helps.

To completely disable them ("temporary" uninstallation) use Debloater http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/debloater-remove-carrier-bloat-t2998294
or learn how to use the
Code:
pm hide
command
As suggested, i would not disable Android Webview.
Always do a BACKUP of your personal files before disabling system apps : if you are not rooted and disable the wrong package, you'll get in bootloop and will have to reset the phone.

That just disables them which I can already do without downloading another app.
If I remember well, not all bloatwares can be disabled without Package Disabler Pro, for ex. the 2 Yahoo apps, Galaxy app, Knox related apps, Gear VR related apps, Smart Switch agent, TouchWiz related apps...

How to disable user app in EMUI 5.0.1 without uninstalling?

Hi Guys....
I am running EMUI 5.0.1 on Honor 8. I can't find a way to disable - freeze apps as it was possible in previous Android versions (Until Android 6 at least). The only thing I can find is the option to disable apps after screen lock.
But this is not what I want, and also does not close background services of the app. For example, there is a health tracking app that is running continuously on the background... I want to stop it without uninstalling it... Isn't there a way?
PS: I have seen the ADB method to stop background apps, but I can't believe that such a useful feature was disabled from recent android versions... Also please note that the system apps that came installed on the phone (like Youtube, Browser, etc..) DO have the disable option in app Info.... The user Apps have only force stop and uninstall...
You can make it a system app by for example usibg lucjy patcher if you have root (I think). Just don't use it for illegal purposes.
I can understand there are workarounds, like rooting the phone... I want to know if there is an official no superuser way, like there was in previous version of Android

Greenify can hibernate them so they won't run in the background

@marv_in_lbc I do not want to uninstall the apps.... And also not talking about system apps... I want to disable them and without the use of 3rd party app... All I am asking if this is doable as it was in previous android versions...
I am not even sure if Huawei has just disabled this option in their firmware, but this must't be the case, since the option is available but only for system apps. From my previous experience this was available in all apps in previous android versions.
(I missed this the first time I read your post, but that Health app that's always running -- this method stops that as the Health app is one that I "removed" using this method.)
Watch the video.
The title is a little misleading as the apps are not actually uninstalled, but rather removed from use from the primary user - in effect, freezing them. But, for all intents & purposes, the app is uninstalled. When you look for the app in the app drawer, it will not show up. When you start your phone, the app(s) will not start. The app(s) will still be technically installed, just not available for use by the primary user (user 0).
That method worked with my Honor 8, Xiaomi Redmi 4x, Moto X Pure, Moto E & an old ZTE phone.

Depends upon the OEM. System apps include apps like YouTube & Email, but also vendor apps like Huawei Health. Some will allow you to disable, while a few others will allow complete uninstalling - it depends upon the OEM (and in some cases, the carrier, at least in the US)
A system app that can't be disabled or uninstalled usually can only be removed if the device is rooted. The method shown in the video doesn't require root & persists after reboots - like the app is actually uninstalled.
The video explains it all.

Search up "package name viewer" on the Google Playstore to get an app that lets you see the name of packages.

Gspace - too many ads and no standalone playstore button / icon/ link

Finally got my hands on a P40 pro.
I couldnt use Googlefier, as Hisense wouldn't give me the option to roll back from 11 to 10 emui.
Gspace works and all my apps within it work but the popup ads are really really annoying... Where do these ads come from? Gspace?, Huawei? Or one of the apps within Gspace.
Also, I can only access the Playstore by opening one of the unused / uninstalled app icons... Is there a way to place the Playstore app / icon within Gspace? And ultimately create a shortcut?
Did you manage to get a solution to this?
The ads are bad

Uhhumm... but it's not free. If you pay, the Gspace is also ad-free.
I rather suggest to use AdGuard and filter out Huawei ads. It's also handy when you want remove every ads on your phone.
In my case, there is only 1 ad once app is being started. Then, ads are not showing during using the apps as it is happening with GSpace.
