I was playing with some ADB commands but something was stopping me from what I was trying to do. it was showing my device offline.
After trying a few troubleshooting steps like rebooting the device, turning off and then turning USB Debugging on again didn’t help
Also Hisuite show the device in connect for just second and it show Offline message

Have you installed the correct Drivers? Check if they are updated and/or working properly. You can also try uninstalling and installing the Drivers again

You could try these drivers here. If nothing else, you can use ADB to transfer files, if that's your main concern.

unknown device > try to update the driver > FAIL
FYI: The issue occurred on 2 different computers with 2 different OSs .

What do you think ?
And sorry for bothering you
It's no bother, just trying to help out.
Can you try to force install drivers? From the Device Manager, choose to update the driver software -> browse my computer for driver software -> let me pick of a list of device drivers on my computer -> and then choose one of the ones you see. Or even uncheck the compatible hardware box and look for a Generic USB driver. It's a long shot.

It did not work ( It said " the wizard couldn't find a better match for your hardware than software you currently have installed " although when I check for the current installed driver It said ' No driver Installed "
BUT:
I'm going to install a new OS bcuz I have issue with current one and try again but its late now in KSA ( 12 am ) so will do that tomorrow.
Thank you for your kind help. really appreciate that.
See you soon
That's weird. By going through that process, it should force Windows to install the drivers, even if they aren't compatible with the device. Although it's been a long while since I used XP, so I'm not really sure anymore what it's capable of doing.

That's not the problem here. OP says the drivers or any others aren't able to be installed to the device.

Exactly. Even after installing a fresh copy of XP, the issue persists :silly:
I'll try again and again until I fix the problem OR I break my PC

Hmm.. If it still says unknown device it shouldn't be a problem with the cable, since the computer can at least detect the device being connected.
I'll dig around when I get back home to my PC to see which driver I used to connect successfully.
here. its been a while since i did my tf101 first root, and a while since ive even used a windows computer, but i still had everything left on it. heres a link to the asus sync installer, the android usb drivers, adb, and fastboot executeables, and some other root **** that i cant remember what was for, kernel, and recovery blob i believe. nowmif these drivers dont get your device known on the windows machine then nothing will.
i'm pretty sure the google usb windows driver for adb connections is in there too. if not then you can just download the android-sdk for windows and install it from the <sdk>/extras/google/usb_driver/ directory.

Hey
A couple of days ago i tried to install the latest CM12 nightly. After updating it my phone crashed everytime it booted up. I did a factory reset and tried to flash older versions but nothing seemed to work so i went into CWM recovery 6.0.4.5 and pretty much formatted everything.
I still have access to the bootloader and recovery but my Windows 8.1 PC doesn't recognize my phone ("Unknown usb device" "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)") I can't access my phone with adb or fastboot now. This looks like a driver problem but i tried a lot of different drivers on multiple PC's.
What can i do now?

It's a driver issue likely. Starting from scratch in the thread I linked addresses drivers. Likely ones he hasn't tried.
Though, a few other ideas are trying another cable, another USB on the computer. And last... Try another computer. ?

Try this: http://nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html
It helped me a few times.
I uninstalled everything from there that was android-related. After plugging in my phone (in bootloader mode) my PC detects it as " Google Nexus BootLoader Interface" but "this device cannot start. (code 10) an invalid parameter was passed to a service or function"

Did you use USBDeview or you just manually removed all drivers that you saw?
I went into USBDeview and uninstalled everything that was android related
ummm why hasnt everyone mentioned the very basics? USB Debbugin enabled?
you already flashed and reset phone...
because after any reset, that will default back to unchecked and u wont be able to adb or fastboot until that is checked
How do i enable usb debugging without any os?

USB debugging enabled is only needed when using Adb from within the Android OS. It's not needed for adb use in recovery mode, and never needed for fastboot.
??
good to know
Okay so i don't have to do this but i still have that driver problem. It is recognized as Android Bootloader Interface but i still get "this device cannot start. (code 10) an invalid parameter was passed to a service or function"

For me this sounds more like computer realted problem rather than device. If you can try all of those steps ( installign drivers, etc ) on another pc maybe this will solve your issue
Just tried it on a fresh installation of W7 but my device wasn't recognized and i couldn't install any drivers for it. How can it be a PC related problem if it doesn't work on so many different configurations?
If you run it on VirtualBox, see this answer (prepend http, I can't post links): superuser.com/a/887249/239087
To make it short, you need VirtualBox Extension Pack, and you need to configure the USB port to use USB 2.0 at least.
Hey there,

Have you tried downloading drivers for the S6? (Not entirely sure they even exist but I would assume they do)

You can find Samsung USB drivers here.
http://www.teamandroid.com/download-android-usb-drivers/
Alternatively, the drivers should automatically be installed when you install Smart Switch desktop app which you can get from Samsung's website.
Once the drivers are installed you should be and to plug in the phone and all should be OK.
I'd have thought that installing Kies would have fixed your issue so the above may not work but my fingers are crossed for you

I use root with Tasker and Secure Settings to automate my phone / house. I have tried switching between them, but I don't think that's the issue because the ADB driver is installed and recognized each time I plug the phone in.

Are you using windows or linux? did you update the sdk?
I would also add that you need to make sure the universal LG driver is installed if it isn't already. ADB won't have a problem detecting your phone and the port it's on if all the drivers are installed, and a good connection between the device and computer is established. If that fails, try another PC.
