S7 Edge battery in S7 - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi
I've searched but no luck.
I know we can fit s7e & s7 battery in the s6. But is it possible to fit the s7e 3600 mah battery in the regular s7 ? Or is there a decent third party battery which is bigger and would fit ?
thanks

I have the same question!

Sadly you cannot as the battery compartment on the Galaxy S7 is much smaller than the one found on the S6 or S7 Edge.

I wouldn't recommend you install it in your S7 until you get a wise reliable information from someone who really knows, since the kernel of the s7 device is programmed to read the battery as a 3000mAh we don't know what are the consequences if you will install a bigger capacity battery to it, as for installing a less capacity than 3000 it can result on a battery explosion during charging since the kernel will think its a 3000 batter and keep charging it even though it will be full

I have the S7 Edge and love it, and do not want to replace it. However I wanted to upgrade the battery to a higher capacity 4500 mAh or more if possible. I got a battery that claimed to be 4500 from a Chinese firm on AliExpress but it was rubbish! Is there a higher capacity battery that will fit in the S7 space and work?

Amazon sourced Ecell - Gold Sen Sation battery :)

So some time ago I ordered from Amazon, one of these Ecell Gold 2430MaH batteries. Yes I have read the comments about those sourced from ebay, but for a few pounds I was willing to try from Amazon, given their splendid customer service and returns policy.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005O8SA2S
This is the item I bought, and after wiping the battery stats and a few charges later, this thing is simply amazing.
My phone has been unplugged since 8:00 am this morning. So far I have:
Installed a new Kernel,
Used titanium to move 200 apps to SD, and am now performing a backup of all apps & system data (383 elements)
At 13:50 the battery is still at 95%. This battery sees me through to the end of the day, and when things are quiet (over the weekend etc) will last more than 80 hours.
Now although I understand the bad stories about this item from eBay, and I doubt whether it is truly anywhere near 2430 MaH - I have to say I am mightily impressed. It far outperforms my stock battery and the XE equivalent.

If you Peel the sticker off you will see a model number and 1730 stamped on the metal. If you look those numbers up you will find people are reporting 1730 as the capacity. There are several companies using that same battery with different stickers (and different capacity claims)

ZeroLemon Extended Battery Coming Soon

The ZeroLemon extended battery is coming in May for the S4! I contacted them and Joey said that the battery will be released mid-May.
Their website is http://www.zerolemon.com/.
Who's planning on getting one?
That battery will certainly last you all day and night but man what a brick it will be in your pocket. I could see getting one of these if you are traveling a lot or will be away from a charger for an extended period. Worth checking out when it launches and I get my 32GB GS4 on AT&T.
i rather walk with this on my head.

2600mah will be enough for me
The stock one will be plenty for me as a daily too. I used the one I have for my S III on a trip to NYC. Being in the city all day with no charger and using GPS to get around it was really useful. I had around 50% left after a whole day of use. I'll be getting one.
i do hope they come out with a 10,000mAh battery.
I used the 7000mah battery on my S3 and it was absolutely necessary for me. It really isn't as bulky as you think and actually adds a nice weight to the phone plus it looks a lot more natural then other extended battery's and is a lot more convenient then carrying a spare battery.
For the average user, yeah probably pointless, but coming from the S3 to my S4 without it, the battery feels pathetic. It's draining so ridiculously fast compared to my S3, but that's a given with all the kernel tweaking and the battery I had on my S3. I got wifi, gps, data, browsing, gaming, etc going hardcore all day!
I will continue to take the squeezing of 7000 lemons daily challenge.

Must be the best vacation company for charging devices. Wont need a wallet outlet for months!!! Well, if the capacity is really that much and quality.
I don't even know what I'd use that for. The phone has a 2550 mah battery. You could fully recharge it around 115 times with the 300,000.
let us know if it really is that much, for that small of a size, i don't believe it a bit. my old anker is 10000 mah and about that size
i don't believe it has 200000mah.
But amazon has some nice products. I had it,I was using this external battery for charging my iPhone 5s , Samsung galaxy tab 3, Samsung s4 during my 24 hour flight. Charged iPhone 2 times, s4 once and sgt3 3 times. it has many 5 star reviews: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RJQB4IU/

S6 to Note 5

Has anyone upgraded from the S6 to the Note 5? I just upgraded from my S4 to the S6, but the battery still leaves a lot to be desired. I'm thinking hard about going back to BestBuy tonight, and swapping the S6 for the Note 5. Would like to hear from someone who has had both.

Nothing magical. Bigger battery equals more time. Note 5 has a bigger battery.
I upgraded from the S6. Best decision ever. And yes it is everything magical. Check out my battery life, which is the most noticeable feature over the S6.

I have the s6 edge and after that i will probably stick with just the note series from samsung. Ive had all the phones from the s2 up from samsung and the notes are just the best samsung has to offer. Especially with battery life
I switched from the S6 edge and enjoy much better battery life with the Note 5. I think the S pen is somewhat useful as well.

I upgraded from the 6 I just prefer the note series battery life is better. Other than that no major diff I've seen
I have both, the s6 and note 5 both set up identically and the note 5 is just a tad better on battery. I think I'm going to hard reset the note 5 and see if that helps.

I had the s6 edge, its worth it. The 3gb of ram on the s6 kills the phone. Lags like hell because of the poor ram management. The 4gb on the note makes a huge diff.

Where do I buy this battery pack?

Has anyone been able to find this official samsung battery pack!??!?! I need this beautiful thing OMG

Yea my bad... Im not sure why I had so much trouble.. I was searching for "note 7 battery pack" on amazon.. finally found it by searching "samsung battery pack"
You can get a 10k mah Anker battery pack for about the same price with fast charge.
I personally have 2 Anker 10k mah packs and one thats 26k
I've just ordered the Samsung backpack from ballicom.co.uk £44 as its an all in one / wireless charging case. Don't like the idea of carrying cables and the damage connectors can do in pockets and bags. I had a zerolemon case battery for my note 5 which worked well.

I have never really timed it. The 10k take a few hours from empty. It does fast charge the pack as well as long as you plug it into a fast charge port.
Now i have never empty the 26k one but that takes a while... I normally leave them over night to charge.
