I'm looking for a hard case for the n1. I would like to find the thinnest case possible so that it doesn't add bulk. Ive seen a couple for the iphone that ive liked, but I haven't really seen much for the n1. Any suggestions?

I guess I should mention.... I found a few, but they all suck. Some are argyle, some have flowers printed on them, and a lot of them, have a raised square in the back. I'm guessing for a belt clip. None of these are all that appealing to me.

Yes that would change things drastically.
I got the TPU arguile one and its nice does a very good job of protection..

They probably make the best hardcase I have ever seen.

I ran across a hard case that was slim and would also fit into the existing sleeve but lost the website. I know its probably a bit OCD but thought it would be nice to have the extra added. Been looking for it all over but can't seem to find it again! Anyone run across this?

Both are a great & tight fit. Both are quality cases.
The clear hard case is perfect for those situations where you need hard protection. Most of the time, I'm using the gel case, as I like the feel with the N1.

It's a catch 22 waiting for the demand. When the demand hit, they'll have to do all of the design/distribution legwork. By that time, there'll already be many other options.

I concur. I bought a black and a clear smoke off ebay and both fit nicely and the phone still fits in my existing case. Only issue would be if you get the new desktop dock for the phone, as these cases don't expose the contacts.
Like some of the other members I bought the "gel" case from ebay:
It's pretty thin and seems to be very durable and fits great on the N1. As stated in the above post, the case does block 2 of the 3 (the 2 on the left side of the USB port) contact points on the bottom of the device.
I've currently got the Defender but it's WAY too thick and the front bezel part is in the way too much.
In the past I've just used a basic slim TPU or similar case coupled with a vertical slide in holster. My problem has been finding a holster that is big enough to fit the phone with the slight bulk added by the cases I know of. Any thoughts?
I never drop my phones and they always look brand new when I sell them a year later, so the defender is way overkill for me...anyone interested in it because I'll be selling it when I find something new.

That looks pretty good, although it doesn't look like the camera portion is thick enough to protect the camera at all, even by a millimeter. Do you have one? Does it offer any protection at all?

Ok, so I got one anyway and the answer is NO, it doesn't protect the camera at all. The Camera bezel is perfectly flush with the case. That being said, it's the only real negative about it. It's SUPER easy to take off if you want to go naked for some reason, the holster works great and the case itself provides just enough grip and heft to make it easy to hang onto.
I'd say about a 8/10...

I'm searching for a holster/pouch/belt clip for my phone. It's not to protect the phone, but the headset instead. I always go around with the headset connected and eventually they go bad, possibly because my phone is always in my pocket and the cord gets alot of twisting. I'm now on my fourth headset since buying the phone last December, and think that to protect them better I need to wear the phone outside...
My phone already has a fishbone case, so the accessory has to be large enough to fit it. I also want the ports to be easily accessible, so the headset doesn't have to be disconnected when I take the phone out, and possibly so I can charge the battery on the go with my power bank. I've seen some possibilities, but they're typically too small to accompdate my existing case, or the clips come with cases themselves and probably wouldn't properly fit mine. So I'm seeking some advice to find a suitable clip/holster.

Hello I am wondering if anyone knows of a good quality horizontal belt holder that works with the g5 and allows for a case? My case is not very thick but I would not call it slim either.
To give you an idea of what I mean by good quality I want it to be leather and the last one that I had was actually fake leather and the support was cardboard. That one got decent ratings on Amazon for quality but when it fell apart it became clear that it was not good.
I use this belt clip on my V10 since I was unable to to find a holster for it. It works great! and it fits the G5.

I never used one of those, but every case or holder with a plastic clip I have had has broken within 3 months. I am not sure I want to spend that money on something that my experience indicates would probably not last very long.
I almost forgot that in previous experience I have had problems with clips like that causing the phone to fall every time I get out of my car and I noticed a few reviews mentioning that on that clip as well. Seems like a bit of a risk to me.
Found this thread and the suggestion by @shaun0207 and figured I'd give it whirl! Thanks for that!

Great! I have been seriously considering just getting the few tools and some materials and just making my own since it seems very hard to find ones that are well made. If I do I would basically have a thick, stiff leather back (I have a good sized piece of lace leather that I think would work well for that), a couple of belt loops either made from that same thick leather or a slightly thinner more flexible leather, then a soft leather for the rest of the holder with a flap for closing and probably just some cheap magnets hidden within for holding it closed. Should be pretty simple to put together (though there would likely be some trial and error involved).

I only had it come out of the clip once and it was in the car. If you can, check it out in Best Buy. It really holds the phone well.

I haven't come across any cases that protective for this phone. The most promising one I found (based on previous experience with the brand) was this:

I hope you like it. The quality is much better than other cases I've tried but I would prefer that it was a bumper case all around rather than just in the corners. It provides a comfortable grip though which is nice.

I've never had good luck with clear cases. They always seem to turn yellowish over time. They look nice new though.

They do and I normally buy two or three at a time and swap them out when they yellow. But this phone is so gorgeous it deserves a clear case.

Forgot to post that I've received the iMak clear silicone case and it's exactly what I've been looking for. Fits perfectly without adding too much bulk and most importantly protects the screen and corners.

All the cutouts align perfectly. It's the best clear case I've used for this phone, most of the others don't protect the screen.

Hi guys, based in the UK and these cases seem to all be in the US. I have a Google pixel case but it's a bit bulky for me, does anyone know of a hard thin case for these that's any use? Had anyone tried a peel case for this phone yet? Thanks
I prefer the (true) Carbon cases that you can find on Amazon or eBay - or on AliExpress where they are quite a bit cheaper. Very thin and light-weight, yet a good grip and durable.
Not the cheapest option, though, ranging from 20ieh in China to 40ish in Europe.....
