The PC cannot recognized the internal memory like a storage media. - General Questions and Answers

Hello all,
I'm new on this forum and I came here because I need your help.
I have a problem with a Lenovo 8080-H tablet, I want to recover some pictures that I deleted from the internal memory of the tablet by mistake.
But when I connect the tablet on the PC via a USB cable, that the internal memory can be recognized like a storage media, there is a problem, my operating system (Windows 10 Home), recognizes the internal memory like a YOGA TABLET 10 HD+ (Linux File-Stor Gadget USB Device) CD-ROM drive
I mention that I have also activated the USB debugging from the tablet and it still does not work!
Model Number: Lenovo B8080-H, Andoid version: 4.4.2;
Can someone help me, please?

Try changing the USB settings. Make it to M2P (media transfer protocol). It will then allow you to file share with your PC. Also if you deleted some pictures on your tablet, was it being backed up by google? If so you can recover it there.

It is already on MTP, but the internal memory cannot be recognized like a storage media and no, they were not backed up by google.
Can someone, please, help me?

Use diskdigger
If the photos are from internal storage...

Try installing the driver from the official site. And check the cable/PC that might cause the problem, I am not quite sure though.

Yes, try to download the driver or Lenovo MOTO Smart Assistant from official website of Lenovo -
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/...GA-TABLET-10-HD-PLUS-B8080/downloads/DS101291

Nothing above is working!

I checked the cable, it is OK!
I installed the diskdigger, is not going to do a full scan because the device can not be Rooting!
I installed the Lenovo MOTO Smart Assistant but the internal memory cannot be recognized like a storage media!

I do not know what to do ????!!!!

[Q] Need suggestions on how to recover deleted files from the internal memory.

I have accidentally wiped my internal memory of my transformer and I am wondering if there is an application I can use to recover the deleted files from it?
I have tried hexamob recovery PRO and it doesn't detect the internal storage.
When I try to connect it to the computer over USB it shows up as a "Portable Device" in windows 7 and I am unable to use file recovery software on the computer because of this.
Is it possible to mount the internal memory over USB Mass Storage so I can try recovering the files with a windows program?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

P3110 cannot be used as mass storage in win7

A friend of mine got this P3110 running stock 4.1.1; a week of usage, she can copy files from her pc to the tab (mass storage), after a week or so, she can't used it as a mass storage device nor we can have it change thru dropdown change USB options (only MTP and camera are present no Mass Storage option). Question is how this can happen? Anyone has any idea what's going on? USB debugging is off. Installed proper drivers (KIES). But now, always asked for MTP drivers and when windows tried to install mtp drivers, not successful.

Well, can't find any option in settings on my stripped down JB with Custom Kernel as of now. But I think these are possible connection types:
MTP (Media Transfer Protocol): for Windows Media Player
PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol): to act like a connected camera
MSC (Mass Storage Connection): to act like connected USB drive
As far I remember the GT-P31xx only supports 1 + 2 - not 3. 1 + 2 have the disadvantage that Android Libraries must be updated before files are visible. My experience with this is not good. The manual (for ICS in German) mentions also 3.) but I cannot recall ever noticing it.
If you want to have fast copy actions, then use an external card reader to write to the sd card and then insert the card. This wirks for sure and is the fastest way.
Also check if the device connects well to another PC - problem may not be the device after all, but the PC.

MTP access is not enough for recovery programs, The memory must be recognized as a drive letter in windows, as a mass storage.

Recover deleted pics in internal memory (Asus Zenfone 5 Lite)

Hi,
I accidentally deleted a whole album of 300+ pics and a few vids in an Asus Zenfone 5 Lite (internal memory). I downloaded a program that recovers deleted files for android (Yodot) but it wont detect the internal memory drive.
It is connected via a USB cable, USB Debugging option enabled and chose MTP. I guess it will only detect it if it's chosen as a USB Mass Storage but I don't know how. Please tell me if you know how to.
What's the best way to recover the deleted files?
Please help.

[Help] How to detect phone as removable disk (not MTP) - Marshmallow?

Hello,
I am trying to recover lost photos and videos from my phone. Refer to this post => http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/help-data-photos-videos-documents-t3476374
However, all of the recovery software out there requires the phone to be detected as an removable disk (mass storage). None of them work with MTP device. I have a OnePlus One, running on Android 6.0.1.
Is there a way to show the phone as removable disk (mass storage)? If this not possible at all, please comment so that I don't waste more time searching the internet.
Will it work if I install a very old ROM? Can I still recover the data? What do you think?
Thanks.
