Hello,
I'm an Android Developer. Some of my clients installed my Apps on their Android phones such as Intex, Sony, Motorolla, MI and so on.
My problem is I have tested my App on Samsung platform, where it worked very well. But My app is having some problem on other manufacturers, and I don't have access to these devices
If I could install Intex Stock ROM on VMWare, I could easily debug the problem. Can anyone please guide me, if we could do such thing. It would be very helpful.
Thanks

Hi all,
Sorry if this wrong ask since this forum is dedicate to HTC Device
Does anyone know if its possible to install an Android rom on the MotoSurf A3100?
Dualbot with WM it will be great.
Thanks a lot.
No, I do not believe there is any effort to port the Android operating system to the Motosurf A3100, or any other device in that product line. Because Android (and the Linux kernel it runs on) require decent hardware support for the system they are running on, none of the Android packages posted on this forum will work on your device either.
Hi, have a Samsung M1 (GT-I6410) with LiMo on it...is there any possibility to mod it or to get apps without the vodavone store?
If there are any mods, please tell me
Yes, but there are none. I've only been able to install on my m1 some apps from the vodafone competition, originally destinated to h1 that i couldn't download from the app store.
I'm very disappointed with this OS. Some team is trying to port android in this phone, but so far...
I really need android on my M1,
Will be willing to beta etc, but i have no skills in the world of programming...
winter <3
still nothing?
Somebody have to port Android to this. Even i could do it if i knew how
Someone ported Android on Samsung H1.

H1 is a similar version of M1 but with a better camera.
Some people said H1 hardware is different, so try install this android rom is not useful.
I would be able to port android by myself but i'd need lot of tutorials on...
No one work on M1?
I'm not able on seeking drivers and on source code but there something to work on here:
https://opensource.samsung.com/index.jsp;jsessionid=F1204104931C5A717C9FF66968FB181F
Please teach me something on it...
This phone has not public interest...

I've tried to flash Android-port from H1, but Odin gave me ERROR.
LiMo is awful. Really slow and useless OS. It would be really great if anyone could port Android 2.3 to M1 i6410. Doesn't mather if it doesn't have Wifi.
Came across an interesting article online, china's mobile giant Alibaba just created a new mobile OS called Aliyun. Its linux based, probably using the newest kernel. It will be able to natively run android apps and any apps built in Java or HTML 5. They have paired up with nvidia and it features the tegra 2 1 GHZ chip. It also comes with 100GB free cloud storage for all your songs, contants, videos etc! Pretty cool how linux is gaining market on both the desktop and mobile operating systems and bringing the opensource philosophy to the world. We all know most supercomputers and servers run linux. This is another great step.

Hi All,
I have a Symbol/Motorola MC7090 it's currently running Windows Mobile 5.0 with messaging and security feature pack.
I cannot connect via Wifi and I cannot get the barcode scanner to work.
It was used by a developer to test there apps, I was told that it was reset back to factory specs.
Has anyone got a ROM so that I can put Android on this??
Best Regards

I hate to revive this post, but I have the same sort of question. Please let me know if I need to start a new thread. In my case, I have two ROMs from "Zebra" (who seems to have taken over this part of that company). Mine is also the MC40, but the question I have is what do I need to do to essentially convert this from a Windows 7 CE device, to an Android device. I have the drivers for both the Win version and the Android version. I also have 3 of the Android devices and 2 of the Win devices. The model numbers are exactly the same, only the OS is different. Im doing this for the company I work for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I am using a TCL 20Y, and it's UI is boring and also it runs android 11.
I want to experience the android 13 with a a custom rom like project elixir or ricedroid or pixelplus ui, so can anyone please let me know wheather I can do that.
Like most manufacturers TCL uses different chipsets in different models. I believe your device uses a Mediatek MT6762D. TCL has some snapdragon based phone that have fastboot. TCL Mediatek phones can be rooted and flashed with mtkclient.
This thread documents installing Android 13 in another TCL phone using the same series of Mediatek chipset (P22)
Thank you for the reply,
I am an Android newbie so I don't understand most of those complicated stuff.
If possible could you send me a step by step guide on how to add an custom ROM.
Also I couldn't find any custom ROMs for this device.
Newbie advice: Web search and use the forums search function. There are many, many web pages and videos , maybe even in your native language, that will walk you through this. Before starting you need to have android tools and mtkclient. These are available for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
The first 2 pages of the thread I provided are complaints about how hard TCL made this and unsuccessful attempts to hack. Starting w/ page 3 post #42, @malfuncion first documents how he installed a custom rom.
@malfuncion also provides downloads of all the files that worked for him.
In post #73 I provide copy/paste instructions for mtkclient.
The ROM's I used in the thread are GSI (Generic System Images). I used the ones from TrebleDroid which were fairly stripped down and based on the most recent AOSP code base.
@malfuncion used a CherishOS rom and provides it, repacked as linsuper.bin, on his download site. This may not work as it repacks a vendor.bin which may be different on your TCL model.
On my TCL A30, using the latest TrebleDroid Android 13 rom, the following works: phone, messaging, sim, wifi, camera, gps, brightness. Headphone jack works with alternate Phh jack settings. I successfully provisioned VOLTE using these instructions.
I had issues with apks not being fully functional when installed directly from F-Droid (specifically Geometric Weather widgets did not appear). Installing the apks using "adb install" fixed Geometric weather widgets.
Thanks a lots.
