It's not really a fully fledged camera app, but I use AfterFocus.
Camera zoom fx!
I like stock camera, but my photo are not very good, maybe i havent never found right focus setting. Photo are good in center but border are too unfocus.. So im searching another good camera app.. And i found this in the web. Seem good and have more settings.
Amazing photos and very good video at 60 and 100 fps
More functions than stock camera as autoshoot and
Focus, hdr settings. Very good night photos without flash.

Could you actually produce a 60 fps video? I tried the trial but the [email protected] setup produced
only a 30 fps footage... :\

i record at [email protected] and play with MX Player and work very well, the frame are 30fps but video seem different.
I tested stuff on my desktop where I usually watch the [email protected] videos made
with my DSLR. I really hope it's not a hardware limitation.
maybe we must change too:
- Video bit rate over 17mbps (default) to 20 Mbps
- Video File format Mpeg4 or amr_nb / amr_wb
- Video Codec H263 / h264 / mpeg4
what your best setting??

Yes, maxed out bitrate, mp4 format, tried both h.264 and mp4 codecs.
Maybe it's the settings but I couldn't find any docs explaining what I
should do.

thats HDR.
HDR takes 1 dark pic and 1 bright pic and then combines the 2 pics to make 1 pic with good lighting
I understand that but can I setup application that after taking photo just leave one which is right
Any details on how the camera - software, hardware, processing is vs the P9?
I do not have P9 personally but reviews and spec details of the two phones should give a somehow overview. I'm sure there is some vs. reviews out

I've seen pocketnow's review about honor 8's camera, performs the same as the p9 and they called it great.

Honor 8 lacks RAW capture in stock camera (unlike the P9 which has it) but can do RAW with 3rd party camera software.

If it supports RAW images then yes. I look through the specs and see if it supports it.

Does capturing in black and white vs adding a black and white filter post look different? Or shooting with the monochrome filter on?

On the P9, the monochrome camera can be used with the color one or alone. On the Honor 8, it can only used with the color one, not alone.
Would P9 RAW and B&W be available by installing the P9's camera app on the Honor 8?

I don't know about native monochrome, but RAW is available when using another camera app.
So guys,
On 60fps/1080p the video is noticeably much more blurry than on 30fps/1080p video.
I've noticed this since getting the Pixel, no matter what os: ship to latest including DU.
Has anyone else noticed this? I can't find anything here.
Are you recording 60p video on sd card or on internal storage?

Pixel does not have an SD card slot.
The only thing I can think of is it's using a higher ISO which will introduce more noise. The higher the frame rate, the less light reaches the sensor for each frame so the ISO needs to be higher.

So are you having this issue with the HTC 10 or the Pixel?
He is not the OP with the issue.
The video on 60fps is lower quality indeed. Details are out, it looks like mud.

Hi guys,
I'm amazed with the background blur function that Huawei showed in http://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/worldwide/manhattan_video/mate9_productvideo.mp4 (1'50'' ~ 1'57").
I have a Oneplus 3 and I want to know if it's possible to install that camera and use that function into another device.
Can you help me?
Thanks!
You mean the bokeh effect?
Sent from my MHA-L29 using XDA Labs
It's build in the mate 9 to make such pictures.
If its on 12 mp you can choose wide aperture enabled to make them.
Sent from my MHA-L29 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
You're saying you want to install the Mate 9 camera app on a Oneplus 3 to get the bokeh effect? Not going to happen. The Mate 9 uses the dual cameras to determine the depth of the objects in the frame. The Mate 9's camera software works with the Mate 9's hardware to create that effect. You can't just apply the software to completely different hardware and expect it to work.
I believe it's software related not hardware, sony can make the same effect with single camera.

I can only suggest searching the PlayStore for "bokeh".
