Can I flash a firmware to get it out of retail mode?

Are you sure you don't have a dummy display version. I was talking to a Samsung rep at best buy the other day and he told me the display watches are not full watches, but just dummy versions that play a video due to theft,

If you sell apps or watch faces on the Samsung Gear Store, does anyone know how long it takes for the seller to receive that money?
Before I fork out £80 for it. I have the galaxy S7 Has anyone got any examples of stuff I could actually do with it or is it all just pretty simple apps?
I'd love to get immersed in another world!
Edit- Scratch that, it's only Argos that's selling it for that price. Amazon has it for £50! Or is the Argos version the latest, or something?

No, there is no difference, both are the old consumer model.

It looks like I'm never going to get a new Samsung SmartWatch to replace my Gear S3 since Samsung seems to have forgotten what I consider the most important feature of the Gear S3 which is Samsung Pay's MST technology. The primary stores that I shop still do not have chip or tap register technology. So MST technology is playing a big role in my life, especially during these current troubling times. Not having to dig into my pockets for credit cards, or my Samsung SmartPhone with MST, could be a life saving feature since I just hold my Gear S3 up next to the mag swipe to pay. Anyway, I'm getting close to the two year average on the battery replacement, so it's almost time to replace it again. I sure hope Samsung brings MST technology back to their future SmartWatches at some point.

sorry for necroposting, but figured this might be a good place to ask. Are there any watches after the S3 Frontier that have the MST radio? i had a huge debacle with Samsung themselves about the Galaxy watch 4
Ordered mine on 10th Sep 2021 and estimated shipping date was 14th Oct 2021. But got an email today that they have shipped the Watch. Excited!
Ordered Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE (46mm) - Black.
Ordered mine from HN on the 2nd of October and arrived today.
Galaxy Watch 4 Classic LTE (46mm) - Silver
Watch Band (Hybrid) - Navy
Upgrading from the Gear S3 Frontier.
Annoyed that like the phones, the firmware is a revision behind the latest.
New firmware rolled out yesterday for us in Oz.
BUI6.
FOR MODEL 895F CLASSIC 46MM LTE

I initially thought Wear OS will have an advantage over Tizen OS. But so far, I really miss some of the minor details which I really like from Tizen OS. Battery really sucks!
Agreed. Given bootloader is unlockable. Tizen OS can be ported but I am no developer
Updated to BUI6 but alas, we are still two releases behind. CUIE and CUJ2 are both out in the wild.
Edit:
I've experienced failed tracking events on this release (activity recording starts but at the end, no data saved) and garbled audio when using the watch to make/receive calls via BT connection to my S21 ULTRA - Don't have the eSIM set up yet).
Hello,
I've bought my Galaxy S22 Ultra in the UAE in February, and I don't know how today my screen cracked.
Phone never felt, with protective case, was in my pocket. Anyway i'm not here for that.
I left the UAE last april, and now live if France.
UAE and Europe doesn't have the same model (S908E vs S908B)
My local store told me that he can't change my screen because pieces for the two models are differents.
Do you know if the screen really has differents references for each models? or if he totally bul**** me.
Anyway I'm stucked cause I can't apply for smart-repair-service from samsung french website, telling me that my product is not a valid model.
thanks for any lead you can provide
Ship it back in UAE and fix it there if Samsung.fr can't
Was your local store an actual Samsung store? If not, I recommend taking it to someone else, because the guy you talked to is full of s**t. I think he is just going by the model number of the phone and not the part number of the display.
Otherwise, you may need to send it directly to Samsung for repair.
