Hi, i cant install global rom, always written something like -> something about older version, or cant verify. Try from chinese stable and chinese global always cant install.
I want use global rom now
after circa 60h i will unlock my device and install fastboot rom, but i want use global rom now) can anybody help me?
Can you give us information exactly what does it say? Are you using chinese rom or cooked vendor rom? Post a screenshot of rom version.

SOLVED: I dont have coocked rom Xiaomi block install global rom on china devices (via stock recorvery) on locked bootloader, unlock and flash via stock recorvery (not twrp) global rom
On the NOte 3 of my wife, i did install using a PC program, from chinese to global...
No issues...still locked and no root!

i don't have any global rom,sorry.
if hardwares are the same, maybe we can flash global rom or India rom, even chinese rom.
9008 mode is a force flash mode,we need to have a try.

Here you can download latest Global rom and give it a try.
Mony other tried(myself included) both using QFIL or AF Toll but failed to do anything.

in china, there's a hacked aftool can force flash any version official rom.
I found a tool but just can flash latest rom(the version of global rom is lower than china rom,so i can not flash a global rom in my china version nex)

You can't flash any version of TWRP. It has to be made specifically for the NEX S using their source code, which is currently closed.

I don't need source code to build twrp. I made a lot of twrp for a lot of smartphone without sorces (look my open thread). I need only stock recovery to build twrp
I'll have smartphone in next 7 days andò try this or inject magisk in boot.IMG but with looked bootloader i can flash this partition only with aftool

by the way, without unlock the Bootloader , you can do nothing with vivo phones. maybe you can use aftool force flash a unofficial recovery but you can not get in the system

no, this tool only can flash lastest version

First, I want to tell you that I am very new here. I didn’t know more about custom rom,or recovery or fastboot or anything. Thanks to Xda, I have learnt many things beacause of you guys! You really deserves a BIG THANKS.
Anyways, I have Redmi Note 7 pro which has chinese rom version 11.0.4. I have also bootloader Unlocked. So by of your forum topics & by YouTube I had learnt about move on Global Indian rom. So I downloaded the Global lastest rom which version 11.0.6 from the REAL miui Website. But unfortunately I failed. i couldn’t flash the FASTBOOT rom via Mi flash tools. It went something wrong I don’t know. i tried many of times & download,re-downloaded the same rom & same method but failed. Last time my SYSTEM WAS DESTROYED. That time I also couldn’t flash the FASTBOOT rom.
Finally, I installed the ORANGE RECOVERY project & tried to flash Recovery 11.0.6 Indian rom and it works but not so much. When The phone reboot, it opens,asked me to choose language & Region. Theres all Language available but in the next step only one region (China) was available. There's no other region. So I had to continue with the CHINA Region. But it also didn’t work. The same screen come back again & again asking me for choose region which was China..I failed to install 11.0.6 global rom in Recovery mood too ..
So I back again to Chinese rom again which I had before version 11.0.4. By Recovery Mode.. And it works now perfectly.
So you guys if know anything good way to move on 11.0.6 global rom please share with me.

Your phone is China or Global?
If your phone is China, do not flash any version of miui 12.5. It will disable Google services.
Also for all phones, do not install a very old version of miui because it will brick it. Try to remember the version of miui that you was on before you jumped to xiaomi.eu, and install a newer version of that.
I just bought the china version and got 136 hr before i can unlock bootloader. I want to convert to EU version . I have be reading and want to make sure i downloading the right stuff . I downloaded stable rom for unicorn and Twrp for unicorn...any advise would be much appreciated

If there is another version than CN
No need for Twrp, which will only flash a recovery rom.

Does not relock the bootloader(brick).
With a stock rom the play store will not be certified.

The recovery rom is used for an update or troubleshooting and only contains the imgs needed to start the phone, while the fastboot rom contains all the imgs, hence the different size.
But I advise you to install a Xiaomi Eu rom which will have the play store certified without root and more functions than the stocks.
If you flash a stock ROM, you will need to root and use Magisk hide to have the play store certified and use banking apps for example.

Thanks for the info NOSS8.... bootloader unlocked , loaded unicorn V13.0.12.0.SLECNXM ... Now updating to new stable rom. Everthing working out so far.
This Xiaomi 12s Pro is a great phone so far . Boot loader unlocked , a working Twrp , Stable EU rom and dual sim cards. So many themes , ring tones Always on displays and wallpapers . So far I'm really liking the phone.

It's mainly thanks to Xiaomi Eu ROMs because stocks are really limited.
