How to root g610s j7 prime - Samsung Galaxy J7 Questions & Answers

Hi.
My device is g610s j7 prime Korea model, android nougat 7.0
I followed the instruction for g610f, and I installed TWRP on my device.
Then, I tried to flash SuperSu.zip through it, but the storage showed 0mb.
What I tried:
1. full wipe
2. fix permissions
3. install cf auto root.tar.md5 for g610f using Odin (Data recovering appeared)
I don't have OTG cable, and now I'm trying to install Magisk. What can I do?
Any advice would be a help.

I solved it. by the instruction here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1687376357951488/permalink/1690836697605454/

Root j701f (works!)

Well, I had been right with it, two month ago ... but I didn't had a PC for practice...
I got my GALAXY J7 SM-J701F rooted now.
(GALAXY J7 NEO with Dual Sim)
But SuperSU DON'T work with all root-apps !
Most important for me is ES EXPLORER and ES TASK-MANAGER - those DO all I want them to do !
As well DROID WALL work.
Elixir2 DON'T DO all it's functions ... as well as system app switcher. (but ES can do)
The Android7 is 100% stable. ME HAPPY !!
If you want to root your SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 (SM J701F)
here is how to do:
DON'T DO IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE RISK
KNOW YOU LOOSE GUARANTEE
KNOW IT MIGHT POSSIBLY NOT WORK
First download the SAMSUNG Android Drivers
the latest Odin Software
the latest J7 xelte twrp recovery
the latest Super SU
and the J701FDDU2AQJ3 Firmware
Next, install the samsung drivers for your android on your PC,
Then start Odin ... select all 4 part of the firmware package, and disable "auto reboot"
boot your J7 into download mode (power+home+vol.down) and NOW connect your device
then click "start" in Odin.
When Odin finished installation, click on reset and choose the twrp file with the "AP" case ...
Again disable auto reboot in Odin options.
Disconnect your Phone and reboot manual into download mode (power+home+vol.down)
Connect phone again and click start in Odin.
When finished disconnect phone
NOW reboot into recovery mode (power+home+vol.Up)
Select and install super Su file.
Then choose reboot into system ...
(maybe you will have a auto restart (if dual sim) ... but don't worry )
Thanks for sharing this method. Do you know if it can works for a J7 Neo J701M??
I just following this step and my result is bootloop. My phone is SM J701F

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime accidentally deleted the Rom

Hi there I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 prime and installed TWRP but accidentally i deleted my ROM. I have a backup ROM in my USB but when I attach it to the phone using an OTG adapter it's not getting detected by the phone and shows USB OTG (0mb). So I left that option and tried to do sideload but when I enter sideload it shows Starting ABB sideload feature and it's there after several minutes it shows Failed or it will keep going on. SO PLS HELP ME!!! My TWRP is 3.1.1-1_ashyx
Try flashing TWRP latest version for J7 P and try using that for otg afterwards.
If all else fails, just do a fresh flash using the latest version of Odin on PC of you firmware then reflash TWRP and the ROM of your choice after

Bootloop after wrong rooting A3 (2017) SM-A320FL

Good morning,
I have a problem with my Samsung A3 2017 with Android Oreo 8.0 after wrong root process...
I found many guides to root A3 (2017), but unfortunately I use a wrong one: in this guide there isn't written to wipe data before rooting with Android Oreo (8.0): so my device now is stuck on bootloop.
I tried:
- to flash original Oreo firmware with Odin, but remain the problem.
- a factory reset/wipe data, but I can't enter recovery mode.
- to flash orginal Oreo firmware with AP slot and also with HOME_CSC: in this way, after reboot appeared the recovery mode (i didn't press any buttons) and so i tried a factory reset/wipe data but it didn't works, and appeared "failed to find misc partition".
I have no other ideas to try to solve the problem ... is there a solution? can you help me?
thank you so much!

I can't do Nandroid Backup of Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 SM-J330FN. What am I doing wrong?

I installed: Samsung_USB_Driver_v1.7.23.0, opened: odin3_v3.14.4 and started Odin 3. In AP I uploaded the file: twrp3.1.1-1_J330. I booted my Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 SM-J330FN in download mode; I connected it to the PC via the data cable and clicked START in Odin 3. The smartphone restarted in mode: TWRP. I tried to backup the system to SD card with TWRP, but every now and then it gave me errors and in the end it appeared: Backup Failed. Where is the mistake? Can someone help me?
Thanks
