Samsung Android devices unknown data usage possible solution

Hi, can anyone confirm if deleting Joy folder, and then removing samsung app apk. Hopefully this will stop unknown usage and ad popups

[Q] I have the Galaxy S6 and cannot install certain apps

I have the Galaxy S6 and cannot install certain apps. I keep the error message "unknown error during application install 501" when trying to install apps like SwiftKey, Antutu, CPU-Z, and almost any benchmark apps. Never really encountered this before. Even when finding the APK online I cannot install it successfully. Any Ideas

In the meanwhile you might try downloading and installing by using Aptoide.
Did you try googling that error code?

Having the same problem with Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) and Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925F). Both smarts can't install benchmark (Antutu, Nenamark, Quadrant, etc.) and other utilities such as CPU-Z. Play Store shows 501 error. Cool Reader and Angry Birds are working just fine.
Also I've tried to install necessary apps directly using there APKs. And it doesn't work too!
Can anyone explain what is going on? I need to test these phones but I can't do that without benchmarks.

same error, with same applications (antutu, cpu-z as example) - error 501, no problems with other applications (wifi analyzers, camscanner, etc)

Android 7.0 / Root!

According to adsense, someone somewhere has a rooted android 7! That's according to my battery saver app's adsense data.
Has ver 7.0 even been released?
(It crashes on non rooted devices)

apk installation issue !! help needed

hello expert ,
i have to install android apk to android tv box , the apk is build for only MyGica android tv box for android ( 4.2.2 kitkat till Android 6.0 marshmallow )
but when i tried to install different brand of box which has similar android version , apk get installed but on startup it gives error this app is build for MyGica STB only !!
is there anyway hack / file modd. / apk /or patch available that remove restriction of MyGica box and make it universal android apk, install to any brand name of box (4.4.2 till 6.0 )
help appreciated , thanks in advance

You'll have to do some google searches to figure out how to port the app from the device it was made for to work on the device you want to use it on.

I have available the mobile phone Huawei Y7 (2017) TRT-LX3 Android 7.0, and an oldie Samsung Galaxy S Duos Android 4.0.4.
After Rooting mobile I need Updating its Android system to 8.0 or above version.
Then I have to install Xposed o Lsposed module, and to install "SIM Number Setter" afterwards.
