You can't install any build, you need a version prepared for N modem.

If you want install any other version - you need to flash modem from stock MM.
If you will find any other or newer version you can add link here.
There is also a Carbon version that works in my thread. I've got an updated AOKP that I still need to upload too.
I received an XT1572 (EU version) to tinker with, on monday, since a family member had bought a new phone.
As far as I can tell TWRP 3.2.1-0 is working with NPH25.200-15-8 being installed, too. I was able to take backups, to wipe everything on the phone and to install the LOS version that is linked above without facing any issues.
Edit: Looks like I didn't test carefully enough. After installing LOS TWRP starts misbehaving.

Editing OP doesn't move up the thread.
Stable build will be in OP.
As the OP of a thread, you can always report your opening post and ask the mods to sticky it*. Asking for permanent redirects to this thread that get stickied to the top of the Q&A and/or the dev sections might make sense, as well.
* That doesn't mean that everyone who asks for it gets their thread stickied, though.

First thing I did. Does it work for you?
Damn, so it's not worth to upgrade. Can anybody else confirm? Can you also check camera, especially 4k dci recording (OpenCamera or CameraNext Mod)
i had following problems with all unofficial builds
1) mobile data was VERY slow (on CM12 it's working) (edit: actually it's fast when i have a good connection, but many times I only have one "bar" or none, so that is the problem)
2) charging was VERY slow (It's slow also on CM12 but not THAT slow)
I have to try this when i have time but if anyone has any ideas how to fix those problems it would be nice.

The nightly is pre rooted. You don't need to flash super su. If you cannot see root go to development options and set root to apps only or apps and adb
Same here - no cellular, extremely slow.
Going back to Sultan for now.
CM13 Gapps?
Maybe a noob question, but what about the Marshmallow gapps? Is an upgrade not needed?!
Same problem here, no data with TIM Italy...
That embedded firmware anything special or same stuff from the 12.1 nightlies?

Not sure if you know about this already, but there is a changelog section of the CM site that shows what has been merged and what will be included in the next nightly. This will probably indicate when the Mobile Data bug is fixed.

Same I guess, but I see no one mentioned what gapps. So, you should try only rom.. And it seems Rom's shipped with inbuilt gapps, cuz the size says 300 mb.
Clean flash that's it. Only rom no ril patch either.
Btw, that's your choice you can try either SAOSP or DU11.
It's up to you!!

I have a Moto G turbo (Merlin) and i installed Havoc OS in it. Everything works fine except the Camera and the proximity sensor. Whenever I open camera it crashes. I have installed many camera apps and tried it. In the sock rom it used to work fine. Also when I get a call I get a call my screen turns blank and I am not able to attend it.
I think there is some problem with the vendor image cause whenever I switch off my phone and turn it on again it gives an error "
The vendor image does not match system. Please flash the MPDS24.107-56-1-28 vendor image for you device"
Please tell me a way to fix this. I searched for the vendor image in my stock rom but i just found a .xml file that has a similar name. I don't know how to flash an xml file. It would be gr8 if anyone could please provide me with the vendor image for my phone and tell me how to flash it so that I could get this error fixd and take photos again!!
I've never had to flash an .xml image but until you get a better answer there are other Roms you can try,
https://www.getdroidtips.com/custom-rom-moto-g3-turbo/
I am assuming that you are using HavocOS 2.x (pie) by Archer , i believe that the camera bug was resolved in future updates. And about the vendor image mismatch error, it is nothing to be worried about just ignore that (it is not causing the bugs). About the call issue it is something that I am unaware of. Also please dont wipe the vendor partition and there's no real need to flash stock.
I would highly recommend you to flash the latest official TWRP 3.4.0 by Althaf or SHRP 2.3.2 and then flash newer Q ROMs, Q is more stable than P for merlin and there aren't any bugs. There are lots of Q roms available (9-10) including Havoc and other official roms (LOS,AICP).

Yay, I finally flashed RR ROM and it works like a charm. Never imagined my device would work on Android 10.
Camera and phone work perfectly!!

Glad you got it running. If ever you need to update your TWRP and the phone is rooted just use the app,

Well, Thanks for the recommendation. I will sure try it soon.
I wanted to install GCam on my phone as it has really good photo processing capabilities. When I searched about it I came to know that I had to enable Camera2 API. So any idea on how to do it in my phone?? (Moto G Turbo - Merlin)

Sorry I don't use that app. I use,"Open Camera" and I find my G5 stock Camera good enough for me as well
I will be using this thread to post my unofficial builds of PE for veux, seeing as the last build was over a month ago.
I won't be making any source code changes, at least for the time being.
20230529 build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m2jS2Gc6zx_OuxwZSeFunNlQ9BHZa6Od/view?usp=sharing (remember to flash vendor_boot and also flash the latest official recovery from the wiki)
Changelog:
First build, has May SP and passes SafetyNet, Magisk untested
Bugs:
Nothing so far, you tell me.
Thanks to jhenrique and rulim34
I understand that it is your first build and that it will have the May patch, but will you continue to maintain it? If so, you will have to try it to see how it goes

As long as it works stably and updates its security patch once a month, like the pixels, I'm satisfied, I don't need optimizations or modifications or anything, the simplest in the aosp style and with the pixel style, I Will try after

That's great for me, I'll install it as soon as I can and I'll comment, some Telegram group or something? It would be perfect because I'm sure there are more like me interested
No telegram group yet, willing to create one if there's enough demand
