Hello guys,
I installed this ROM https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...t-cyanogenmod-11-samsung-galaxy-core-t3468602 but bluetooth and Wifi are giving me a lot of problems. Wifi keep disconnecting and bluetooth rarely finds devices and sends files successfully.
I'm not even sure what "ported" means, but I'm looking for a stock version of the android that was on the phone, minus the bloatware from google and Samsung. Could someone recommend me a ROM to flash? My phone is barely usable at its current state.

Well i suggest cosmic rom, then root it by flashing latest Su binary and then use lucky patcher or any other app and remove some of the pre-installed app. Its a good rom and everything works on this rom and no wifi issues.
Ported means, its a rom that was taken from different device and the kernels and stuff was over written with this device stuff. They are generally not that stable. If u want
If u want stock rom then visit here https://androidmtk.com/samsung-galaxy-core-duos-i8262-stock-rom and download the rom based on your country. Then follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2505436 to flash it on your device. And if u want to debloat it, then root it and remove the pre-installed apps.

Greeting fella,
See, the point i just cant go on and install any rom of any device to any other device. Each device has their own different specification and different kernels and stuff. So you cant do that. Well for core roms, go to this page https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-core/development and see for your device(i8262) and see their whats not working and working list to see if that particular thing is not there then also you are fine with it(like Camera) then try ROMs. Just ping me anytime you need help.

Just search for your official rom on device as it varies by country and flash it through Odin. Its really easy.

For root use famaroot it work for me
I already rooted my phn using frammaroot but I want to install CWM recovery in my phn...can anyone know how to install it in my phn n provide the file too...

it can play 720p with sw decoder in mx player but video playback is leggy.

you can uninstall useless system apps by es file manager or rom tool box.
Wifi issue with Samsung Core I8262
Hey Guys,
Just bought a Samsung Core I8262. Phone overall is decent with balanced hardware and software options.
However, I noticed two issues with it :
1. It's not connecting to Dlink Router specifically at my home (which works fine with Note 2, S Advance and Laptops)
2. While you are dialing a phone number in speaker mode, the base volume is quite low which makes you feel the speaker is under powered.
After online research I found, Samsung S4 also had some issues with Dlink Router. Hence, tried following but, nothing worked out :
1. Phone does detect Dlink Router, after punching correct pswd it comes with a message SAVE, SECURED.
2. Forget network, tried...no go.
3. Then checked wifi settings after dialing *#0011# code and it was active.
4. WPA comes up whilst connecting Router, changed to WEP still didn't work.
I was exhausted with trying many a things, hence, thought of Service Center for upgrading Binary Versions which was the only thing I would've imagined, but, in spite of upgrading its still not working. Please Help.

I think no, but we desperately need the ROMs.. specially the MIUI port . Anyone, please develop ROMs for this phone.
Today while browsing through net, i got to know about a lollipop rom for Samsung galaxy grand duos on techdroider.
The cyanogenmod 12 based on android 5 lollipop is now available for Samsung galaxy grand duos. Kind of exciting because Samsung galaxy core duos and Samsung galaxy grand duos share somewhat same kind of specs.
Can any of the developers please try to port this rom to Samsung galaxy core duos. Plsss plsss:fingers-crossed:

Hahaha. Idk how to call them. I just giving some motivation quotes. There are a few developers that has come to make ROM for galaxy core duos. Some of them are Omkar$,ankur850,vvbaibhav,abhi922,NovaFusion and others that I forgot their name. Still we got no CM

Lollicop rom based on jellybean, only themes like lollipop.
I flashed stock 4.4.2 firmware on my S4 mini duos (gt-I9192) everything worked fine.......then i installed S5 experiance rom on this (Bluetooth stopped working) and now my recovery suddenly started recognising my device as S4 mini 3g (gt-9190)......so I am confused. should i flash the recovery again or should I try MIUI rom for S4 mini 3G(9190)......It is said to work on LTE varient so should I try it on my duos now that i have the chance? will it brick the device, and what kind of brick it will be, like i can deal with softbrick but I am scared if there is a possible hard brick.....Please help I am dying to try out MIUI on this phone which is not ported as well as no official version is launched for this varient(9192)..!

Hey everyone. I was wondering why there is no CM/Lineage/RR rom for the J7 2016. I've searched all over the web and XDA to find it, but no luck. So far I only found AOSP for the J7 2015 or ported stock ROMs from galaxy A5 and so on.
Maybe someone knows where to find them or maybe someone can port it for the J7 2016?
I hope someone can help me/us out!

Still nothing.... Nougat or Oreo for the MN? I was able to find a TWRP install but can't find a suitable ROM.... have been hoping to find a good Lineage update and would reformat the Rom to fit the larger OpenGapps but have not found anything really suitable to fit my dual SIM phone.
Hope for help with this limitation....

And why can not you compile one for the SM-J710MN?
Maybe the LineageOS rom for the A5 can be ported to our phone? They already did it with the stock ROM as I've mentioned in my initial post.

If it's J710FN with Exynos7580 is Galaxy On8 (2016) not J7 (2016)

actually by mistake i installed j7 core firmware in nxt and now when i am installing nxt firmware its not showing nxt its still on j7 core ....i don't need j7 core

Did you done flashing using odin you should download j7 nxt stock firmware from official sammobile website which provides original samsung firmwares for all samsung mobiles and actually J7 twrp recovery is not compatible for J7 nxt and i have tested it and it did not booted so i reverted back to stock firmware of J7 nxt hope you know about the flashing process

I've tried, but failed to mount storage.
please root for j701f/ds j7 core
TWRP for J7 2016 nougat is not available yet. Let's wait. I think it will work on J7 nxt.
