BAd camera tried it
I have 3 camera installed...
1) google camera - for photosphere and panorama, everything else about it is subpar in my humble opinion...
2) built in rom camera - use it b/c it does everything (decent)
3) dslr camera pro - playstore ($2.99) awesome options/settings for crisp still (only takes pix, no video)

Ok that Lenovo Super Camera is pretty slick. Has some pretty cool features, just have to learn them. Doesnt have 4k video recording and a couple feature do crash the app but still...
Im using Cyanogen camera (from Oneplus One). Its almost as good as stock LG. I would be ok using Google cam IF IT COULD SAVE TO F**** SD CARD!
Look in the general android apps section on XDA and flash the motorola camera
Never had the Cannot connect to camera since and it is as good as stock except no 4k camera
None of these work arounds support 4k recording either.
Whats the point of having such a great camera/video when it cant do either via a stock rom.
Ill always be using stock based roms till that gets sorted.

By the way, the G3 does not record 4k. 4k is Ultra HD (3840 x 2160). The G3 is Quad HD (2560 x 1440). Just FYI

Just so you know. LG G3's display is 2K . LG G3 can record in 4K resolution. ).
ummm ^^ on aosp we are already using stock LG drivers is the camera app that doesn't work the best with the drivers.. that's because LG drivers are closed sources and can't be modified.. so until devs will port stock G3 camera app... all the camera apps will not work correctly in quality of pictures... but till now the best for me is google camera from playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera

just to Help him on explain LG G3 is 2K that means 4 times 1280x720p and twice 1920x1080 that means 2560x1440 that is called usually QHD (quad HD = 4 x 720p) so.. yeah twice of a QHD is the 4K UHD (Ultra HD = 3840x2160) so.. in less words we have a 2K screen and a 4K capable camera

I have tested both and use both, but for me its the HTC M9 camer a port, i only use Google camera for panoramas!! take a look!
OPPO Camera is pretty cool, I will upload it soon with plugins.

I'm stuck choosing on what phone to get. I have a 300€/330$ budget ( I can go up a little bit extra like 50 more if its worth it) My eyes are currently set on the Asus Zenfone 2 because I can't find any other phone that's as good as that with its best bang for your buck.
What I'm looking for in a phone
-At least 32GB storage (64GB preffered)
-Great performance (Can multitask well and can handle resource hungry games/apps)
-MicroSD card slot
-Last but not least, decent development for the phone [emoji14]
Is there anything that can match what I want ? Please comment, would love to hear your suggestions

Sorry for late reply.
I was considering the LG G flex 2 a day or two ago and I saw the lack of development and that killed it for me
The oneplus two looks alright but just overpriced (€400) Hell with €400 I can just buy myself a PS4 lol

Thankfully T-Mobile's Hspa+ is acceptable or it'd be on its ride back. It's virtually the same size device as Ultra...with a larger screen so that's fantastic.

I generally suggest not rooting the phone though cos u will lose out on the OTA updates... which adds features and does lots of bug fixes...

According to GSMArena, the P8 from Huawei has a $hitty camera too. It also lacks 4k video recording. WTF?
You should of waited for the upcoming Huawei P9 which is said to have an improved camera:

It's not, it's one of Samsung's S8 working prototypes, that Samsung experimented before deciding on final design and camera setup.

They are saying it is a clone because 100% of retail models only have 1 camera
So that must mean that samsung made 17,000 clones of this duel camera device! Ya, ohk, wait a second... 1. What is your source of the claimed 17,000 dual camera s8+?
2. Do u have a regular sm-g955u or one with dual camera?
3. How comes your phone is briked? Sorry i didnt get the part where u where talking about it

Like it says in the thumbprints pictures... Google.com is who did the specs, and the 17,000 are the users who have reviews samsungs SM-G955U for google. Why has this form drifted? Im looking for a unbrick.img, its been since the s3 came out that iv 9008'd a device, and i dont really remember what i all had to do to revive that device.

Even the op claims their phone is an unreleased prototype. Not a retail phone.

Thanks, that's fine with me. It's ok when you have your phone in the pocket but when it's in the table by your side you can miss notifications if you don't notice the screen.
I've been messing around the settings but can't seem to find an option that let me say I want the screen always on or waking every x seconds/minutes when the notification hasn't been dismissed yet...

That's one of things I was looking for myself, but it appears that the only option is lift to wake.
4hrs SOT with 45% left....not too bad...

Just went on a chat session with Nokia support. Sugestion was to use a 3rd party app.
I've been digging a little bit more and found out this:

I havent got the phone yet but I believe the notifications appear on rhe Lock screen intermittently like on the windows lumia phones which is actually quite good.

Almost, the intermittently part(what is supposed to do) doesn't work...
They actually appear when you lift the phone off the table. It's under the "Gestures" menu and activated by default

Yes, that works but that also requires lifting the phone. xD
The phone is always in my field of view and when codding for hours strait something lighting up(a led or the screen) is more convenient that picking up the phone. I might acknowledge the notification but if I don't check it the first time I'll forget it...
I use my Smartwatch to get Informed about a notification.
Does the phone has raise to wake up or double tap to wake?

It does have an option for slow moition recording, but oddly it doesn't show how many fps. I've searched the specs from other sites and nobody can confirm the fps yet. Not sure if Nokia hasn't released the info or not. But I will try to shoot some footage and see if I can perceive by eye what it looks like.
