So flashed this rom, dirty over AOSP 8.1 no data wipe only and camera is working, with same gapps I used before... I use Android since 2.1 version but every next version I understand it less [emoji39].
Fingerprint sensor is functional in this rom? My don't work?

You cannot flash rom dirty on another. Do a clean flash.

I will do it, before I had problems with camera after clean flash now camera works, but fingerprint not. Could be a side effects of dirty flash I knew it, but I ask for confirmation that on clean flashed rom, fingerprint sensor works.

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP basically which stands for the Xperia Open Source Project was a project originally created by me @nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) and the project was created like 2 years ago when that time XOSP wasn't even existing. It was just S+ Reborn. The main idea was to create a custom minimal Xperia based ROM, by including the essential things which a user would normally use from a ROM.
The S+ Reborn became to be a big success because it was eventually ported on different Xperia Phones and some other Samsung devices so from there the XOSP project was founded. From the XOSP Project also the Reborn add-ons were created featuring with an Aroma Installer. I worked on the project for 2 years trying always to improve it constantly, eventually for the fact that LP on my Galaxy S+ became to be quite buggy i decided to stop the development and for about half of year the project was left in standby till I decided to bring it back again on the Zenfone 2 devices.
The project started growing again so with the Release 4 the project will be completely refactored to XOSP
Revisions and Releases
I've got a different type of releasing, I will not provide weekly builds but just let me show you how the revisions and release type works: The revisions refers like to a sort of Nightly thing I mean the changes included in the ROM are small not as a Release one. All the releases got 5 revisions. So the Release is something even bigger right? Hell yeah! When a new Release is released expect many improvements or new features

Greetings nice to see more Roms for beloved MIX,this might be a nweb question ,but being based on Lineage it means those bugs experienced in Lineage/RR persist here? Is there any need for thermal fixes after ROM installation because it says stable in status and proximity sensor works as flawless as MIUI?

Buddy, if you publish a link to my kernel you declare it as DragonXia by me, give proper credits, or you remove the link now.

I am also impressed by the very good battery so far.

Kernel link disabled, sorry DragonXia users for the inconvenience. OP you've until tomorrow to follow my advice.

I was surprised to see advised kernel was DX and there was no mention of it nor credits... Immediately assumed there was some understanding and collaboration with @pappschlumpf... Pity that it seems to be precisely the opposite

Have you made the kernel and invested tons of ours of your private time? And by the way a ROM should boot to be published here. Without the help of a kernel he hasn't even asked for permission to use!
Fore sure it's not a problem to set a link to DragonXia thread, but it's definitly a problem and against xda rules to directly link it and let i look like it's the kernel he is providing!
By the way, permission denied to use it as part of the ROM in this case.

Dear Papps, i was among the first to appreciate your hard work , giving us the chance to be on 7.1.2 and as you know occasionally donated.
I understand your anger , however you roms are still , sorry to say, after so many trials with unfixed bugs (black screen, speakers, echo, microphone...).
Here we have finally , a good and stable Rom , and you remove your kernel, thus leaving users frustrated...If that makes you happy, fair enough OK

This ROM uses same devicetree, same blobs, same bugs.
For me this discussion is finished. Kernel link has to be removed.

cheers mate...i see u contributed a lot
diving right in.
Nice work and good rom. Keep Updating
flashed it...seems some compatibility issue with g apps.g play service(crashing). when trying to sign in with google account- phone soft reboots
*volte not working(partially working- when i call- on my end call immediately disconnects but on d other end- they receive calls)- ready to test
4g on data voice calls are not supported because volte is partially enabled
LTE speeds are fine but signal bar seems weak than actual
rom is snappy & can be still improved since it's just initial release
Great work

i usually go with stock as i use most of them
i think in every package- G play services would be d same which is d main reason causing d crash.
However, i will check with 'pico' soon

Yeah it's surely true that every package would contain the same G play services app, but some custom ROMs supports some packages better than others, and overall, not every package is supported (on my old s4 mini, official LineageOS supported packages until pico; bigger packages than pico wasn't compatible, so services like Google play ecc. would keep crashing over and over). Try a smaller one like pico, and if it should work, add the rest later.

yah...micro is working fine :good: :good: :good:
---------- Post added at 16:14 ---------- Previous post was at 16:09 ----------
seems like i messed up d fingerprints while switching back from LOS rom- forgot to delete them on LOS
so fingerprint registration seems impossible right now
hence, restored twrp back up of stock emui by wiping everything
came back from stock again to this rom..still finger print registration isn't working
Update- Restore backup u made in TWRP & go back to stock emui- delete all fingerprints
fingerprint registration works again

This is the FIRST time I was able to install a Android 10 rom
So what I did:
Came from newest weekly Android 10 MIUI.
JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN OP
This worked fine for me ^^
---------- Post added at 03:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:37 PM ----------
BUG: Front Camera coming out at boot and wont slide in anymore :/
Edit: no matter what I try the front camera is stuck. It wont slide in. Unusable for me sorry. And the rom is laggy as hell ^^ But for a 1st build its super good thank you !
Edit2: Used this APK to pop front cam in. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/themes/app-xiaomi-motor-control-k20-t3984505
(hit three dots top right corner "set cam out" - click ong "takeback").
Fully functional again after this.

First off all, thank you a lot for bringing back Syberia to our devices.
I'm using Pear launcher flawlessly, not a single problem, but my Gapps are Pico!...

Don't update system launcher, opt for another one like Nova or Apex. I like Pear launcher for stability and mods.
