Hi!
I would like some help on porting cwm for xperia e c1505 (locked bootloader)!
Since the battery_charging is not in system/bin anymore because sony have patched the exploit it is now in the kernel.
Is there any other way that i can start up cwm for locked bootloader!
And also can i have instructions on how to do this as i cannot find them anywhere on the internet thanks!
Hello people.I am a noob to rooting phones.I recently rooted my Sony Xperia ZR running stock rom , Kitkat 4.4.2
I used Towelroot by Geohotz to root the phone and have unlocked the bootloader with the official procedure of unlocking bootloaders
I would like to install TWRP or CWM custom recovery but i am unable to since i cant boot into recovery.
I tried quick boot and the hardware combinations but in vain
build number : 10.5.A.0.230

Please post your question in Xperia ZR Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so that the right experts may be of help to you. From the looks of it, you might have hardware issue.

I am using Xperia m Single sim(c1904) With latest frimware That is 15.4.A.1.9.
I have root this phone by using this tutorial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2484622). Bad thing is that i didn not make a back up of my previous rom.
When i unlock bootloader it is successfully unlocked but after that my phone is not starting it is stucked up in sony logo...

last night i also did the same mistake and spent all night searching for the firmware and foud these two links
1.) this is a google drive link to the firmware which is gonna take a long time to download but is not tampered at all

if this works,then good otherwise just search for the latest firmware in ftf format and then flash it to your phone

i cannot reflash the sony xperia m c1905 after unlock bootloader. i have problems when the phone is stuck with SONY logo... and forever because i used towelroot.apk to root.. (not using bootloader via flashtool)

I'm having problems with my xperia m2 because it is boot looped, i tried using flashtool and flashed the corresponding firmware but it still won't open. i also tried using PC companion provided by Sony to repair my unit but still no luck. I hope anyone can help me with my problem, and also i cannot boot into my recovery and i don't why. BTW my bootloader is still locked and i can't flash any custom kernel on it, i lost the box so i don't know it's IMEI.
Please help me with my problem thank you so much.

What you did? What rom you were? Etc.
When you flash ftf with Flashtool, you lost recovery.

Is there a thread or is there someone who can help me to root my Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 with Lollipop 5.1.1 Build-number 23.4.A.0.546
I have unlocked my bootloader because i thought it was easier to root.
I have search on google and xda-developers how to root my device but nothing worked i have installed Giefroot, KingRoot, Klingo Root, One Click Root but nothing worked i even downloaded Flash-Tool 0.9.19.10 where i have unlocked my bootloader with and tried to root with flash-tool.
I always had samsung devices and was easy to root and install custom firmwares but Sony devices is not so easy to root so i need some help.

Can't help completely, however beter search the forum. Bytheway English is good to understand. I'm Dutch too.
Seen thread in Z2 recently about pre-rooted firmwares with the latest sony firmware ending with 1.232.
Looking into that for my Z2 in a couple of days.
For whats worth it. Read the thread completely, has some steps about unlocking, recovery.
In basics you need to have original sony FW in case of failures, and flashtool and drivers for your Z3 installed. Mostly Windows 7 PC or Laptop.

Install a pre-rooted ROM from the Development section if you have an unlocked bootloader.

So if i understand now i have unlockt my bootloader can i install pre-rooted firmware with flash-tool?
But how?
I must set my mobile in to fastboot mode and then flash the pre-rooted firmware?

No prerooted ROM needed for rooting with unlocked bootloader.
All you have to do is:
1. Install custom kernel for 23.4.A.0.546 (my androplus kernel or other kernel)
2. Enter into TWRP
3. Install SuperSU

1. Yes, AndroPlus kernel have a TWRP
2. No, SuperSU should be extracted from TWRP recovery
3. Read carefully how to flash a custom kernel with an unlocked bootloader. FlashTool isn't used in this process.
Ok how can i find this page on XDA?
And on this page is everything step by step how to install?
Sony does not have a recovery mode where i can install the kernel?
And if i have installed the custom kernel how can i start into twrp. What buttons do i have to hold?
Sorry for So much questions but i have no idea how it works on Sony devices

Thx for your anser but i have searth on XDA and Google but everything i download flash-tool Will not see the file.
And i see manny video's how i can get into recovery or twrp but the combo buttons dont work.

Now you dont have a recovery, that is why you could not get into it.
Lets go from step by step.
