You must first install the MinitBatteryResources.apk before flashing this mod. After that, flash the 3minit zip.

And like always I made something wrong.
First I flashed the 3minit.zip, then I flashed the May update zip. So my stock backup in the ozop folder was overwritten by the second flash.
What can I do to return to stock systemui? Dirty flash the May system.img?

You've never heard of 3Minit mod? It is a battery mod. If you get the 3minit battery app from play store you get hundreds of custom batteries.

This should probably be in Q&A for future reference, tho.

Hi guys is it possible to install stock updates from Clockworkmod recovery without losing data (apps ecc)? I only needed to install a single patch but this invalidated OTA updates, I am not interested in other ROMs. If it's possible can you tell me where i can find the stock roms ready to be flashed with the custom recovery? Thank you!

Thank for your reply! The patch I needed is the one to boost the volume of the headphones http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532788, If I remove this patch by installing the "Reset to stock volume" zip file , is it possible to proceed with the the scenario #2 of the guide you posted?

Hi,
I used the app SoftKeyZ and Friday I restored my backup. When it rebooted, I lost my navigation bar, status bar and whenever I try to change my wallpaper - it's not working!
I tried factory reset but it didn't solve my problem.
Is there any possible way where I can restore my old SYSTEM UI? I have uninstalled SoftKeyZ as I tried applying other themes, it did not work..
I have root access and I'm using the stock 4.1.2 ROM with latest firmware on my Galaxy Trend Lite/Galaxy Fresh S7390.
Need your support, urgently!

I've read in an other article that i need to replace my systemui.apk with the original one. Now i need to find that file. Thanks fot helping me out.
I
I was running into many problems running a custom miui rom, so I started finding more custom stable firmwares.
I have been running miui.su rom and it has been a pleasure. No Google services force closes and its very stable. I am sharing the link for you guys to try as well. It's based on China beta rom with all the bloat removed. Inbuilt OTA updater works.
*I take no credit for the creation of this rom, just sharing it so you guys can try and profit.
https://miui.su/firmware_manager/model_view/374/
Please give this post a thumbs up if you like the rom.
Lastly another more customized ROM. People were asking for it so I am adding link here. Its miuiPro. Completely different project.

+ Advanced reboot menu prebuilt
- doesn't allow third party themes, couldn't apply multirom icons
Haven't tested battery life as such
Screenshots. Swipe up search works
Will report on battery life after a few days use. By the way fingerprint unlock is instant. No delay what so ever.
What are the features?. Built in ota works for stable rom also?
Btw, what does su stands for? Thanks!
No spanish language, very bad

It is a beta rom but its pretty stable for daily use. The updater app works and you can get weekly rom update from there directly on to your phone.

Please share an about screen. If it is a snapdragon variant of note 4 then it will work. If it has the mtk deca core cpu this would not work. Dont worry about baseband.

Thank you so much for doing this! Last month on stock 8.0 Pixel 2, I tried this. What happened though is I noticed that when trying to find the smali folder, I couldn't when unpackaging the System UI apk. I'm guessing because the stock ROM is ODEX and not DEODEXed? Did you manually deodex this ROM to accomplish this mod? The 3 minit guides seem to assume the ROM is already deodexed. Just wondering if you are a ROM developer as I'm totally clueless with the vdex file you are talking about below.

No reason why this should. You are doing nothing to the bootloader. You are simply adding an overlay to SystemUI to draw a different resource in the layout and zeroing out the dimensions of stock battery.

Yes, 3Minit mod is a smali mod so it is assumed you are deodexed if you are installing it. Deodexing for 8.1 is actually now devdexing
I am not a rom developer, just a simple modder.
