I guess as long as the wiring is the same, but I am not too sure about it.

You can't, at least not in the way I think you're talking about. Get a new phone if u want higher ppi

prop the TFT, Normal has the better Display but it is a huge energy consumtion so the battery can drain fast.

The resolution is quite high, but resolution seems not everything.
One of my friends uses iPad 4 (2048x1536) and another uses Xiaomi M2 (1280X720). iPad 4 resolution is much higher than Xiaomi, but Xiaomi’s color is more vivid on the contrary.
Why? Are there other factors that determine the color?
depends on the type of screen, xiaomi has a IPS LCD and ipad has a LCD retina!

I guess its IPS LCD, not retina as it is a brand name used by Apple products for their screens. Its the resolution and PPI which determines the pixel clarity.

Is there an OLED display for Shield?
I'd like to replace the current IPS display with an OLED one. If that's possible. :fingers-crossed:
It is not nvidia did not release a model with one. There is also no similar tablet with a oled or amoled.
i suppose you could get a 8 inch hdmi display and connect it to the the hdmi out on the tablet. If you really need to have a tablet like this that has an oled or amoled you are going to need to make one.
I am thinking using a shield tv would be a good choice to use as a motherboard. you would then need a usb touch screen and a oled display to go behind it.
Hi, I just replaced my cracked LCD + Digitizer with new one. At first glance it is obvious that the display is not as good as the original. Colors seems really washed out. So I wonder is there a way to somehow calibrate colors reproduction to match original LCD or is it just low quality LCD ?

Post a pic of how the colors look.If there's just a yellow tint,then it's fine.
