To support GB on a Snapdragon 600 - Android Builders Collective

Is there a Way to Turn a HTC One M7 to Update it to a Gingerbread Device?
It does use a Snapdragon 600, the Devices do not look like as if had supported any Gingerbread as unveiled with Jelly Bean. Ice Cream Sandwich is Imaginable but the Way to Gingerbread?

[Q] Custom ROM Development Job - ICS 4.0.1

Looking for a Custom ROM developer that i would pay for his/her time to build a Ice Cream Sandwich [Android OS 4.0.1] for Freescale i.MX535 processor.
kindly contact asap!

[Q] can I root AT&T Xperia x10 w/Eclair 2.1 to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.x ?

phone: Xperia X10 w/Eclair (firmware 2.1)
carrier: AT&T
desired OS: Ice Cream Sandwich
I want to root (? root or flash?) my phone so I am not stuck with Eclair (which AT&T refuses to update to anything newer).
Can I do this since Eclair is many many many versions ago?
Can someone give me a starting point or some pointers where to begin, i.e. once I ROOT and get my phone back up OK, can I then just upgrade from Eclair to Froyo to Gingerbread to Honeycomb to Ice Cream? or do I just go immediately from Eclair to Ice Cream?
Many thanks!

[Q] New Android bionic

Can i install Android 3.5 gingerbread in my new android bionic 16gb? it is possible? I know if i install the Ice cream some of the features won't work but with the gingerbread i am not sure if everything is going to work. Right now i am running android version 2.3.4?

Motorola to release IMG files for 4.04?

Just wondering if we can expect the image files for the Jelly Bean OTA from Motorola?
Android 4.0.4 isn't Jelly Bean, it's still Ice Cream Sandwich.
And Motorola has already released the factory images for the xoom (honeycomb) that automatically provides the option to safely accept the Ice Cream Sandwich OTA in most cases

Is it possible?

Is it possible to upgrade a no name tablet from gingerbread to ice cream sandwich or honeycomb?
Its a tablet: Processor: Cortex A8 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM
It can be possible.
If it is working on Gingerbread, then should work on ICS.
You can try it, but first make sure that you backup your data in case that something went wrong.
Give us more information about "no name" tablet, like version, framework, kernel...
Its called Myria DC-0162
The android version is 2.3.4
Baseband version: 2.05
Kernel: [email protected] #23
And the build number is 97F2-T0-H1-H01-1659.20120314
I hope you could help me with some instructions for flashing the tablet and a suitable ice cream sandwich rom

You would have to port your own rom since its not popular enough.it would require a lot of research though especially if u have never made a rom
Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using xda app-developers app
That would be great.
Not only need to port the ICS rom....kernel also need to recompile for ICS compatibility
some one help to solve problem
